**Strain Information**
Rollercoaster Haze, derived from a combination of G13 Haze and a touch of NYC Diesel, is a creation from Zamnesia Seeds. The G13 component is Sativa-dominant, blending G13 and Hawaiian Haze genetics. This strain delivers the uplifting, creative, and extremely happy effects characteristic of a great Sativa. After just a few hits, you experience an initial burst of energy and euphoria, which gradually merges with subtle Indica undertones that help relax the body and clarify the mind.
NYC Diesel, on the other hand, is a product of crossing Mexican and Afghani landraces. This strain skews toward the Sativa side, offering strong cerebral effects that culminate in deep, full-body relaxation over time.
When combined, these strains emit a delightful aroma, featuring notes of citrus, lemon, lime, earthiness, and pine.
**Growing Experience**
The growth process was straightforward, with 11 weeks of vegetation followed by 9 weeks of flowering. The plant thrived on nutrients without encountering any issues throughout its life cycle.
**Smoking Experience**
I typically prefer vaping and smoking pure joints, and for this review, I will focus on pure joints. The smoke is exceptionally smooth, allowing for 4 to 5 puffs before needing a break.
I usually finish 0.9 grams in one joint over four quick sessions:
- **Session 1:** About 4-5 puffs, followed by a 5-6 minute break.
- **Session 2:** Around 3-4 puffs, with a 20-minute break.
- Whatever is left after that.
**Timings and Activities**
While Rollercoaster Haze is primarily a Sativa mix, the Indica effects are notably strong, often leading to a couch-lock sensation followed by the munchies. I prefer to smoke this strain when I'm settling down to watch an episode on TV, writing a review, or relaxing with music. Once the couch-lock and euphoria wear off, I find I can easily return to activities like cleaning the house or going for a walk. It’s best to save this strain for weekends, holidays, and evenings.
