This week I harvested these two Quebec Black Bud, it was really a great experience. Its unique appearance and these colors charm us from start to finish. Calm in vegetation but surprises us in flowering. I can't wait to see the final product 😇 Harvest : Pheno #1 day 56 flowering 119 total Pheno #2 day 60 flowering 123 total Training : They have received my hand manipulation since day 8 and this every day to force them to grow bigger and stronger until the addition of the scrog. I started my base again on a manifold. For now I'm having fun like that, let's see later 😁 I'll leave you with these beautiful photos and come back to you later. After drying and curing I realize how the color is an intense purple almost black, The genetics are not called Quebec black bud for nothing. the buds are really compact, I know that with the auto pot system I give myself a chance that they will be denser but I believe that hard training leaves its mark.

Day 32 of flowering (12/12 to be precise): Halfway is getting close and they're starting to frost/smell quite a bit. Not much swelling on the buds although some of the pistils are already changing colour so I hope they will start fattening up real soon or I won't get any beautiful colas. Absolutely no yellowing on the oldest fan leaves so cutting down Bio-Grow once again. Will feed it for about 2 more waterings and then I'm definitely going to drop it out. Found a nanner on one of the top budsites of the bigger GSC but nothing too alarming. Think I'll have enough footage by the end of the week to compose a little timelapse what has been cooking so far. Day 35 of flowering: Last supper of Bio-Grow for the girls. No deficiencies showing and RH/temps are staying just perfect. The other GSC has two nanners pushing out of the top colas and the other Gelato#45 seems to be starting to foxtail and making a cluster of nanners on top of the tallest colas (might be just light bleached and suffering leaves but doesn't look good..) If they turn out to be bunch of penises without balls I might have to "tip" her a bit from the top since the lower nodes look just fine. Wouldn't be surprised if it's just from way too intense light since I didn't find it necessary to raise the lamps at the start of the week cause all of them seemed to be enjoying the abundant light and I was already maxing out the hangers. Did a little tweaking and raised the lamps a good 15cm and now they're around 35-40cm from the tallest tops. We'll see how it goes..

Week 2 This week I put a humidifier in the tent for a few days. Without it the humidity is around 42-49%, with it it is around 55%. I don't know if this makes sense.. Maybe one of you has some advice for me, thanks in advance. I noticed that the leaves were slowly starting to curl up at the edges. I then did some research and hung the lamp higher, about 120cm above the leaf tips and reduced the power from 50% to 40%. I hope that I have solved the problem. So far I think the leaves of the plants look better. I watered every ~ two days - without draining - and since yesterday the water quantity has been 1.5L per plant divided into 3x0.5l watering units (water, wait 30min to 1h, water again, wait, etc.). I added 6ml of CalMag to 3 liters of osmosis water. I put the last Biobizz tab into the soil and filled the pot with some more soil. Hello Diary, Cherry Pie has completed its fifth week of flowering, as you can see in the photos, we are very close to harvest. I would say one more week and she will be ready. Given the appearance of Cherry Pie, it would be a shame not to take a picture of her on a black background. The flowers are now quite large, hard to the touch and sticky. Especially the main cola which looks impressive. The flowers are full of trichomes that are still transparent when viewed through a microscope. Some leaves have started to turn yellow which I attribute to her ripening. The smell is very intense at this stage, the whole room smells like plants when I open the grow box. Watering is still every two or three days. This week I stopped adding nutrients, I just lower the p.H. to 6.0 and water the plants with clean water. Here's what the previous week looked like. 13/09/2024 - Day 51. Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water, lowered the pH to 6.0 and used that amount to water all three plants on the farm. 16/09/2024 - Day 54. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier. 18/09/2024 - Day 56. It's the end of the 8th week, taking pictures of the plants. That's all from me for this week, see you soon.
