Itashish So far, the Frosty Purple Freak is growing well, the temperature changes in Belgium don't seem to be a problem for her, the leaves are healthy, and you can see visible growth when you check back the next day. The slugs are still around but they're not attacking the healthy plants anymore, except for the kiwi vine which must be the holy grail for those little creatures. Other than that, no more issues to report!

Itashish I did a little pruning, I cut the apex and left only the node just below the most developed one, to see if the two regrowths from the apex and the one from the node below reach the same size/growth, in order to be as symmetrical as possible.
Because above all, I’m passionate about plant art and bonsai, I started growing cannabis 3 years ago. One summer, I planted a small seed in a basic soil lacking nutrients, and that’s where it all began. But as I mentioned earlier, I loved the art, and that particular plant I turned into a bonsai, a magnificent bonsai, a masterpiece, of which I lost all photos. The following year, I repeated the same scenario, one seed and we start again, but that was a failure, the plant was too greedy and too sensitive to stress, it gave up on me 3-4 weeks into flowering. Now it’s been a year that I’ve been growing indoors, searching for a good recipe for living soil, always in pursuit of perfection, even cutting before the end of flowering because I wasn’t satisfied with the result. (That’s also why I deleted all my diaries.) I cut two crops like that and only managed one harvest on the third. Now the one that excites me the most is the little outdoor seed, yes, as they say, never two without three, I’ve been waiting for this strain, the Frosty Purple Freak, for over a year. The purple mutant from Khalifa Genetics. I will, of course, work on it as a bonsai, but symmetrically; I will avoid stressing it too much since I had delays in growth due to certain unforeseen events like slugs and terrible weather. (2 well-planted seeds in my rear.) I will try to guide it well while aiming for a decent yield; making a bonsai creates enormous stress on the plant and considerably slows down growth. To try to harvest 50-100 grams from the outdoor plant, it would need about 3-4 months of vegetation if you involve high-stress training and cutting galore. And I admit that I didn’t pay more than 50 liters of living soil just for 15-20 grams of yield from the plant; even if the satisfaction of having created a work of art is worth it, it’s not worth the cost. I’ll do better next year; I have to accept this defeat.
I posted videos of my second bonsai; it was at the beginning of flowering and was about 4 months old, without nutrients. I estimated it would yield 30-50 grams by the end of flowering, but it gave up on me.
In the last two videos, there’s one where you can clearly see the bacterial and nutrient deposit from the oxygenated compost tea.
Tea recipe for the week:
15 liters of rainwater
30 g guano guali
15 g meal worm castings
15 g nettle
7 g spirulina
7 g hydrosolate kelp
225 g worm castings
15 g fish hydrolysate
15 g comfrey
10 g yeast saccharomyces cerevisiae strains lycc 6420
60 g zeolite of chabasite
15 g azomite
45 ml of molasses
15 ml of humic and fulvic acid
I watered 6 liters for the purple freak and the rest for other plants.
And another watering with 500 ml of neutral water with 1 g bacillus amyloliquefaciens x5, which was done the day after the tea.
The cultivation is going well, on the purple freak side.
No problems to report, very resilient plant, handles temperature changes and climatic conditions very well, withstands storms and rainy, hot weather, no signs of disease. I currently have pests since the beginning of the cultivation, but no signs of problems. Reacts very well to cutting; I’m more than happy with it; it’s part of my top 1.
The only thing that worries me is this bad weather. A mix of heat and rain has brought powdery mildew to some of my outdoor plants, and I’m afraid it might spread to the purple freak. I will have to treat it in any case, without aggressive treatment, of course.
Itashish Good recovery since last week, since I trimmed the leaves, the secondary branches have developed more, it's forming a nice canopy right now.
The flowering shouldn't take long to arrive, we're currently at 14 hours of daily sunlight, just waiting for the sex to show.
No issues to report, she seems to be in very good health, nice leaf color, no spots, solid structure.
She's starting to have a good smell, I really like the fragrance she's giving off. Plus, since I have Moroccan mint in the pot below, the two mix very well together. I can't wait to make a mutant Moroccan purple tea with these two beautiful babies growing!
Itashish What can I say other than this strain is simply magnificent? It truly lives up to its name, it's starting to get really frosty! And the purple color is appearing more and more! The buds are beautiful and give off a lovely fruity smell, the plant has a serious resin coverage, I think it could be perfect for making extractions!
This week I gave it an oxygenated compost tea, we'll see how it reacts.
TCO recipe for 20 liters. (Grams: gr)
50gr biochar
250gr zeolite
3gr IT45 Micro-Organism pellets
10gr bee pollen
10gr brewer's yeast
3gr endomycorrhizae
10gr comfrey
20gr mealworms
10gr castor bean husk ash
12gr micronized nettle
15gr kelp
10gr CBD living soil
20ml liquid honey
30ml molasses
20ml humic and fulvic acid
Put all the ingredients (except for the molasses, humic/fulvic acid, and honey) in a 400-micron filter, place it in a bucket with water (10 liters). Add the honey and 10ml of molasses.
Put a micro bubbler powered by an air pump in there and oxygenate the mixture for 24 hours. Add another 10ml of molasses after 12 hours when the pump starts.
At the end of the 24 hours, add the remaining molasses and humic/fulvic acid, plus another 10 liters of water to the mixture.
All that's left is to water!
For the Frosty, I incorporated 7 liters of the mixture.
The day before, I prepared the pot for watering with 500ml of water and 2gr of Bacillus IT35 Amyloliquefaciens X5.
Bacillus Amyloliquefaciens: rhizosphere, probiotics. Spraying and watering. Usable for all crops.
The Bacillus Amyloliquefaciens bacteria settle in the rhizosphere by feeding on root exudates. In return, it stimulates root growth by secreting growth metabolites and solubilizes phosphorus by secreting phytases (enzymes).
Probiotic effect consisting of using beneficial microorganisms for the nutrition and health of plants.
Kelp, the richest and most complete of organic amendments.
Kelp is an aquatic algae known as a dietary supplement, it is also a very complete organic and ecological amendment.
Of high nutritional quality, it provides your plants with a wealth of nutrients, including nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, minerals, amino acids, vitamins, chlorophyll, and protein.
Activated charcoal can absorb up to five times its own weight in water as well as the nutrients contained within it. It thus acts as a catalyst and amplifier for traditional fertilizers, whether organic or mineral. This is why it is ideal for activating soil and for oxygenated compost teas.
Charcoal improves the diffusion and availability of nutrients in the soil and offers conditions conducive to the development of microorganisms.
Biochar can be introduced into a wide variety of soils. It is particularly effective in poor, difficult, and acidic soils.
To quickly and effectively activate its amendment capacity, charcoal is enriched and biologically activated with microorganisms. Biochar thus acts as a structurer and activator to enhance soils.

Pollen is the basic ingredient for honey production by bees. Rich in vitamins and minerals, it is referred to as a "perfect food," including for plants!
Zeolites are crystalline rocks with particularly significant adsorption capacities regarding pollutants found in water and certain liquids, as well as in air and gases. They are extremely porous like activated charcoals and can be electrically charged to act as ion exchangers.
Zeolite is a natural product that respects our environment. Used in the industrial sector for many years, this mineral with special filtering properties is starting to become popular in private pools, aquariums, ornamental ponds, rainwater harvesting, and even bonsai cultivation and other diverse plantings, for example...
4 major technical points:
- Thanks to their hydrophilic property, zeolites can adsorb water up to 30% of their total weight without any volume variation: no swelling in the presence of water or cracking in case of dehydration like some clays. Zeolites are also powerful anti-caking agents. This property is highly appreciated in the case of golf courses and other play areas.
- Zeolites do not irreversibly capture water; they act as a reserve near the roots. The roots can absorb water according to their needs. Zeolites thus allow for a reduction in watering needs by up to 35%.
- A zeolite behaves like a "Storage Zone" that retains nitrogen and mineral nutrients near the roots and slowly releases them according to the plant's needs. This results in harmonious yet rapid growth of the plant.
- The adsorption capacity and the enormous surface/volume ratio of zeolites will allow both the retention of soil solution and good oxygenation near the root system. Brewer's yeast is a living material that allows for better fermentation for oxygenated compost teas, particularly recommended to support growth or provide a big boost during flowering.
Yeast also stimulates soil life during direct watering by providing, just like in the TCO, its population of positive microbial species for your soils as well as trace elements and various vitamins.

In the form of a wettable powder. It contains spores of the mycorrhizal fungus Rhizophagus Irregularis MUCL57891 with specific inactive yeasts. 2000 spores/gram of endomycorrhizae Rhizophagus Irregularis MUCL57891 and inactive Saccharomyces Cerevisiae LYC6420. It connects effectively to the root system and forms a vast underground network of filaments that act as extensions to reach nutrients and water beyond the rhizosphere.

Itashish It is extremely resilient, 85% humidity all of September and a lot of rainy days, I didn't protect it and it handles the shock wonderfully.
The colors become sublime, it turns completely purple and frosted with trichomes.
The smell is very fruity, you can't dream of better in terms of terpenes, I can't wait to taste this!

The variety is very well worked, it has all the described characteristics, it is Frosty, purple and freak.
It is perfectly suited for the outdoors, discreet, bushy, resistant to many pests with repellent odor
Holds very well the high humidity peaks (85%) during flowering, same for rain and wind
Responds very well to all types of pruning, lst and hst
Ideal to work with, it is relatively flexible, for hard stress training, be sure to apply gradually and on a longer part of the plant, the skin is slightly thin, and can "crack" which can be an entry point for diseases
After the stretch, the trichomes already start to appear at the same time as the pistils
the heads and leaves are extremely covered
It is very resinous, perfect for extraction
Towards the end of Flo it caught some sublime colors
The smell is changing, it has a tropical/red fruit side, and another that reminds me of a certain type of mix of fresh and fragrant plants like lavender but without the smell of it (it rises well in the nose), which gives a certain sweetness on the fruity side, a beautiful organoleptic mix
