09/29/2020 Washing off all the nasty dust, pollen,and such that has accumulated over her long veg and flower period. She is 72.1 grams wet I guess she should dry out to around 18-22 grams. Which is fine as this was a tester to see if I will do again. I am keeping a clone till I grow a few dozen more seeds, to see different phenotype/genotype. It will take some time but I am hunting for a UNICORN before I will stop! 🙏 lol Good candidate for a grafting project Will update the rest of the report in a couple weeks to let dry out and cure some before testing. I chose this strain because it is said to not make me hungry and no red eyes but I will let you know soon.🙏 10/07/2020 She's dry and jarred up final weight 21.2 grams. Smell of hay and sugar should improve over next couple weeks. Preliminary smoke report, very smooth not much taste but feel it right away soon after first hit last 3.5 hrs. So just waiting on the cure for full flavor report.

Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. I anticipate that it will be harvest time any day now, weather permitting. 10/11- After doing a final check of the trichomes on the Papaya Sherbet this afternoon and checking out our weather forecast, I decided that I will be taking her down early tomorrow morning before the sun comes up. 10/12- Today is CHOP DAY for the Papaya Sherbet Fem Photo! After checking over the flowers yesterday I decided that today is the day as I wanted to avoid any further chances of Boytris ruining more flowers. I got up early, before sunrise and took her down branch by branch which were then hung in my 'drying room' to begin the drying/curing process! This has been a interesting and educational journey for me and I hope that my experiences may help someone else in their garden... Week five in flower and not much change. The buds are starting to bulk up and get fat. I have noticed a color shift in the bud as well. They are developing a pink/purple hue with a gray undertone. It’s an unusual color because it’s very pastel looking. Frost production is still on high, these things are coated like crazy already. Magnesium issue has now stopped, I’ve been adding 1/16 teaspoon of magnesium sulfate to the water every time to keep up with the demand for this large plant. Smell is very strong and hits you hard when you open the tent. When rubbing the bud I pick up a fruity pebbles smell. So far watering every other day and she is sucking down about a gallon a day of water. Run off pH was reading 6.5 which has been spot on this entire grow so far.

This week was mostly about maintenance, balancing the canopy, and keeping the rhythm steady. The lighter green pheno keeps drinking well and is building buds consistently. Growth in biomass seems to have slowed, which is fine — she’s clearly channeling her energy into flower production now. No new leaf mass, but steady bud development. The darker green pheno, on the other hand, required real work this week. She had become very dense and bushy, so I carefully defoliated her, opening the canopy and removing shaded bud sites that would never reach proper light. I was mindful not to overdo it, giving her just enough space and air without stressing her further. The result is a much more open structure with better airflow and a cleaner look. The PPFD increase to 1000–1050 µmol/m²/s from the week before shows no negative effects — both plants are handling the light intensity well. They’re responding steady and healthy, which gives me confidence to keep them at this level. Overall, the tent is vibing steady right now. The darker pheno got a fresh haircut and is breathing again, while the lighter one keeps cruising, stacking buds even if she’s not pumping out more leaves. Light levels are up, the girls are chill, and I’m just letting the ride flow. It feels like the darker pheno might even catch up and outshine her bright sister. For now, I’m keeping my hands off as much as possible, letting them finish strong so I can roll into the next project. 🚀

Day 15: Plants looking healthy as can be! I didn't make a rack for the lights but I got em in. Looks jankie, but I think its gonna work. 🙏 Day 16: Trying to work out kinks in my grow. Since I put the other 2 lights in, I'm now battling the heat and humidity. Switch the fans around. Got the cold air coming in down low. Will feed them in the morning. Day 17: The girls were showing signs of being thirsty this morning for sure! They received their first drain to waste watering. They will be getting some additional nutes on the next feeding (AN B-52, AN Sensizyme, AN CalMag Extra). Day 18: Looking amazing today! I tried my hand at a little LST. Wish the girls luck.!! 🙏 Tomorrow is the official 2 week mark from breaking ground. So, not sure. I've got the humidity finally dialed in at around 50-55% and the temp around 78°. Also gave them another drink as they were already dry about 1.5" down?? Day 19: This is the official 2 week mark. I think I stressed the girls pretty good yesterday, but they look to be recovered today. Should start seeing good growth in the day to follow. Will just be tucking a leaf here and there for a bit. I will being doing a straight water feed next with Great White. Day 20: Nothing new to report other than found 2 leaves that had some yellow mottling. I added Sensizyme, Recharge, and Great White to this feeding. Did not do drain to waste. Just watered the outside perimeter. PPM was 260 at 5.8 ph. Day 21: NO MORE NUTES for these girls! Tips on a couple of em are turning yellow!!! Stupid me. Over watering and giving too many nutes.

I would like to title week 10 the tragedy 😂 There was an issue with the drip irrigation I set up when leaving for 5 days for Christmas. The plants received no water for the duration of my vacation. After watering (and praying) last night, they’ve perked back up significantly. Roots still looking good. Reduced light intensity, defoliated the dead stuff, and going to start babying them a bit before a much needed transplant.

There is very little to do with the plants, they are getting fatter by the day and frostier by the day. I found out I was giving them way too much nutrient so I started giving them 0.4 EC less (its still a work in progress). The lights are still on 85%. It is starting to smell more and more sour and there is also a fresh lemon smell coming from it now.

This plant has been a pure pleasure to grow. I took a few bud off this week as I was worried about bud bandits taking her. They are out in force in my neck of the woods. She has really put on some interesting colouring. She smells so damn GOOD!! Dinafem nails dit with these genetics!! Full chop is imminent!! 😎🍿

During week 13 the BANANA KRUMBLE (=Banana Punch x OG-Kush) from GREENHOUSE SEEDS is developing FANTASTICALLY! The buds have a nice PURPLE coloration and are COVERED IN TRICHOMES! They shine like little stars when I go in at night and make a foto with the flash on...ITS AMAZING to see. All main- and sidebranches have developed into HUGE COLAS, which are full with DANK buds. The bud structure is very compact...I LOVE IT! 😍The topbuds are now so heavy that the plants lean into the two layers of nets I put in to support them. I am glad I installed the trellies already during veg., because now the plants need them. The nice dark green color of the leaves and the fat buds show that the plants are VERY healthy and therefore the BIOTABs nutrients and the spectrum and intensity of the SANlight LEDs work perfectly for growing cannabis. After all they were both especially designed to do exactly that...lol The two Q4W-Gen.2 fixtures on the sides are running at 100% (=3 green lights on dimmer ON) and the Q3WL-Gen.2 in the center is running at 80% (=two green light on the dimmer ON). All three lamps are hung at 40 cm distance to the top of the plants. I water the plants with PURE TAB-WATER, since the BIOTABS nutrients are self-regulating. There is no need for measuring the ph- and EC-value of the water, since you do not need to adjust it. Its VERY CONVENIENT and saves me a lot of time! The smell of the 8 plants is VERY STRONG now and the aroma is WONDERFUL! It is sweet and fruity with a 'gassy' undertone from the OG-Kush parent. Until now this round goes VERY WELL and I am very satisfied with quality of the genetics from Greenhouse Seeds. The plants grow exactly as the description in their catalogue states, and that is rare thing nowadays! 👍😎
