It was a rough go for me becuase of the heat out here and i made some mistakes. I shop of taken the light controll and dimmer box out of my tent instead of leaving ontop of the light. The tent got way too hot during the days. I had a air cooler but that only brought down the temp by 10 to 15 degrees. The pine apple chunk was a fighter and stayed strong and ive got some decent nuggs out of it all! Tell next time fam

Week 8 Looking absolutely huge😂 They’re so tall and wide . Lots of healthy green leaves and strong roots. I was worrying a lot about sex issues as when I did my research I found out they’re quite common to hermaphrodite. Was really worrying but all calyx’s have female signs (so far🙏🏻) so pray for me brothers&sisters.

The plans are showing 3 different height the tallest one was the one that I did less training on and the other two I did fairly the same amount of training I believe that one of them it's not growing very fast compared to The other two because they're showing some form of sign of nitrogen deficiency so i will increase the nitrogen for the next week the heights are like this: 30 inch 22 inch 14.25 inch The shortest plant seems to be stretching now a little bit more comparative to two days ago before increasing the feed of nitrogen I don't think I will use this type of soil again just because I don't see the plants responding as well as the time that I use soil with 30% of Coco in it definitely that combination the plans and The Roots seem to thrive very good with it now I'm using soilless Pro mix pH and I'm not too in love with it. Also the plans have a very strong cheese skunk smell not overpowering just really nice. Day 45 today I feed my plants solution a little bit heavy on the nitrogen today in order to try to flush out any build-up salt that could be causing a lockout or simply just i haven't water enough because I don't like pouring too much water on to them to avoid actually run out ( is always a lot of work and very messy). En los últimos riegos de la cuarta semana fui subiendo hasta alcanzar los 1700. Las plantas mayoritariamente lo aceptaron,así que con ello subiré esta semana hasta alcanzar los 2000. No defoliaré ninguna planta Hoy ajuste la luminaria a una altura de 30cm con respecto a los 45 de la anterior semana. Esta semana pegarán un buen apretón con la subida de PK,y la ayuda de los azúcares. Seguimos con muchas lluvias y una humedad muy alta que dentro del armario se combate entre ventiladores extractor y desumificadores pasivos de sales de silicio. Que me mantienen un 35% menos de la que tengo en el exterior llegando muchos días a los 45/50% de humedad. Tengo que añadir que vivo a un kilómetro de la playa.

It's been a beautiful plant to grow, I thought she was gonna be a little bigger, however she has produced an amazing quality flowers, very sticky, terpy and stinky, the citric aroma it's absolutely wonderful just because of that I could grow her again and again. You definitely need to try this strain if you lovd weed.💚🌱🤤

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. It was easy to harvest she was very small jut cut it quickly without stalks the wet weight is 17 g of the buds. Smell is like spicy lemonish smell. This site has changed can not update and edit the comment section. The smoke is nice it is kind of relax and strong high. Not the best but not even bad. I like it.

Day 51 - The switch to RO water has made the world of difference in DWC. Definitely don't over look water quality if you grow in any type of hydroponic set up. But the girls seem to be taking off, they smell so gassy and sweet, real strong aromas. Hard dense nugs which i know will continue to fatten up (the RO water change has allowed me to run a lower EC of around 0.8 and the pH has been super stable at around 5.7 i like a rise and dont mind it going up a little bit its been fine since using RO) The buds have got loads of colours coming through and I'm excited to see how the end result turns out. I think this will go 9 weeks (63 Days if im not mistaken) if needed ill let her go longer but we shall see. Day 55 - Girls are getting on well, slowly tapering the nutrients down letting the girls drink and eat. EC is at about 0.8. Won't go higher than that until harvest now, most likely. Leafs are turning a purple/black colour from the colder night temps. Buds are gettibg harder and thicker by the day. Will be feeding right up until a few days before harvest. Then a flush for 3-5 days with just RO water. Still about 7-10 days left.. maybe even 14 depending on what the trichomes are telling me. Stay tuned for the next one. Flavours

Day 63 F: Well here we are at the end of a brilliant grow that has seen totally different mixes of heights and genetics successfully completed under the Mars Hydro fc3000 and my own mix of supersoil. Rhe light managed to keep them all at full tilt even though they were at big , differing canopy heights. If inhad used the middle of the room , I could have covered the canopy a lot better and the light would have easily reached the whole canopy despite their odd height differences. I have a Mars tent that will be perfect for this light to totally fill out with 6 plants once I am back at full production and over this slight delay upcoming. The soil has been brilliant from the off , even the small Mexican airline #1 that seemed to struggle with the start up and strength of the mix has finished well. I only added ecothrive , eco life cycle and biosys tea throughout the grow with a couple of grams of Megacrop in flower as a booster. The watering in the beds has been very easy to maintain and keep moist and the more shallow depth has helped check at root level and bottom easily. The immobile nature of the bed has meant that using different strains as the 3 is maybe not ideal , workable , but not ideal and needs some forward planning next time out . Besides that , it has been very simple to manage. The strains have been perfect throughout the weeks with little to no signs of any deficiency. I did remove a lot of fan leaves over the past week to really open the lower parts of the plant to more light for the ripening time . It will also help with the drying time and harvest. There is a lot of really nice colas on these ladies and I cannot recommend the genetics for autos from Fast buds enough. The Strawberry pie finished beautifully and with 2 phenos ro enjoy once dry , I am really looking forward to hitting that one. The six shooter look deadly for the unweary too with their frosty and kush looking purples and reds. Mexican airline have done a nice job on fattening their buds at the end but the #1 is way less bountiful than her sister. Let's see what a drying period does to their overall yields now. They look so big when 1st hung to dry but it is so disheartening watching them shrink to tiny versions of the originals. The dark period has made them a little more tacky without a doubt and their smells are so obvious going through the plants cutting. Temps are at around 10°c in the room with no lights on so this will be a long ,low and slow dry . I do have the dehumidifier on its highest setting to avoid these fat buds developing any bud rot but the low temps will also be a huge help. I have a nice mix of aromas among these with lemon , fresh cut fruit , candy cane sweet and a spicy fuel . Roll on the harvest and cure now. Hopefully a harvest report will follow within 10-14 days.
