Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! Ich versuche es aktuell mit noch mehr Alg a mic, vielleicht giebt ihr das ein wenig mehr grün zurück. Tag 89: Um die Shogun noch etwas in Form zu bringen habe ich das scrogging Netz hochgeschoben. Sie scheint langsam weniger Wasser zu benötigen, auch die Blätter sind schon recht hell, was wohl an den heißen Tagen liegen mag. Ist nur so das es noch über 5 Wochen sind bis zur Ernte 😲

Bud is unbelievable its everywhere. Strong smell for sure and ultra sticky. Frost is really coming out. Cut off the enzymes komplete I read in flower it can stress the plant. 45 days from the flip Always 5.8 ph 600 ppm A little h202 Plant goes through about 18.9 liter jug every 2 days. I feed it RO water. Try to change and scrub the rez every 2 weeks.

Last defoliation before flipping. Next defoliation planned for day 13, 25 and 35 in flower. She built a dense “sea” of tops through LST—everything is spread out evenly and reacting exactly how I want. Super nice structure overall. Really impressed by her thick stem and how well she handles the training. She’s very thirsty and takes the Advanced Nutrients like a champ.

Start of week 11, ladies are doing good and continuing to fatten up. Looks like #2 is pretty close to being done. Going to let her run through Wednesday, then check on her trichomes. If we got more amber I’ll begin the 3 day flush and chop her down on Saturday. If I feel she can go longer I won’t start the flush until Saturday/Sunday. Plants #1 and #3 still got another two weeks or so before they’re ready to chop. Day 72, I moved plants #1 and #2 to the front of the tent for easier access. They’ll be the first two done out of the 3 included in this journal. Also cleaned up some of the leaves on them to open up everything to light during these last 1-2 weeks. Still unsure if I’ll begin to flush #2 on Wednesday or wait till the weekend.. Day 74, checked trichomes and we still aren’t quite where we wanna be before I start to flush. I’m in DWC my flush is only about 3 days tops. We will check again start of next week and hopefully she ready. Day 76, checked on #2 she still not quite ready. I will probably let her run through Thursday next week, begin flush then chop on Sunday the 6th.

Craaazyyyy weeks Craaazyyyy growth Loving it AAALLLL Ok, so, this is the 5th week. Plants started flowering during 4th. They've had massive growth (from my perspective and experience 😅😅) and started to smellll I think I was consistent on that LST. Always trying to give all the heads as much light as possible. It was a lot of work, but I still loved it. Having 2 plants makes it more fun because I need to have a diferent point of view for each one. S has been toped, and with LST I was able to have lots of heads very well positioned B is responding marvelously to bending, wich makes it hard to bend because THERE IS NO MORE ROOM TO RUN TO 😂 she is growing a lot, and there's just to much leaves to tuck... As I was saying they're different, wich I am loving I decided to defoliate them as my last stress move towards the plants. Cutted the leaves that were on the bottom and covering the top heads, and the very small, tiny, thiny side branches. I am lowering the LST to minimum. Since the heads I chose, now have space and LIGHT to grow at will, I want to not disturb them as much as I can. You can see that when I defoliated them, there was light on the soil. And just in 1 day difference, even at this point, you almost can feel them grow! I was amased, because of the stress I had caused them. Yet, look with attention, you can spot the differece. (I hope you can see it too through the screen, because it's real 😅) Look at the S. She is doing just greaaaaat. Think it was a good decision to top her. Hope it keeps growing as it is! Smell is increasing Day 30 changed the light to 24h ON. Day 31 - Heads bigger - !QUESTION! -I always water the plants simultaneously. B's vase is noticeble heavier. Cant understand why... I'm going to start checking if they need to be watered at different times. I can only imagine that the root system is different, due to its "differences outside". But really! They have suffered different stress at different times... different root system = different drainage? Food for thought Day 32 Defoliated them because I thought they were too bushy. Felt like it maybe was a mystake, later, due to some recommendations i read... Day 34 Plants seem to have reacted ok to defoliation, lets see how the next days go by Day 36 Starting to get frosty and smelly Plants seem healthy ❄️ TEMPERATURE: 22-27°C RH: 40-60% WATER PH: 6.2-6.5

Day 6 - Invested into a TDS Tester. Watering is at 10ppm as I filter it from the tap we are at 120ppm. No other updates. Day 5 - lollipoping and defoliation done, readjusted tie downs and watered. Looking good a starting to develop the trichomes now. Day 4 - left alone Day 3 - watered the ladies top down. Day 2 - left the plants alone Day 1 - no real updates just a watering and that's it. Letting it go for 2 days with no disturbance and seeing what happens. The end of week 6 left us in a pretty good situation headed into week 7.
