Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. It is this dedication to their customer base that made this company have a fanbase... Yes, a fanbase with a website and a wiki. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again! Day 56. Plants look good today almost ready to flip into flower, but I have a vacation this weekend so they will have to wait. Day 59 Back from vacation and the plants look great! Today is their first day at 12/12 light schedule. Tured the Growers Choice ROI-720 led up to 50% and I raised it to maintain 24" from canopy. I did some light defoliation around the base of the plants. I watered Plants B and D today. Day 60 Couldn't get humidity to drop below 75% so I got a dehumidifier and dropped it to 65%. Day 61 Plants look good. I'll try to water plants A and C tomorrow morning Day 62 Watered Plants A and C this morning. Did some more defoliation and bent some more tops down under the net. Plants look good besides plant D had 1 leaf that was completely wilted and dead. The rest of the plant appears fine.

Some signs of pre flowering.. Some nutrient locks but that is because of a high ph. Overall very satisfied. 22-06: First signs of flowering stage...

Well this pretty lady is in her final stretch. I had to pull a few buds off that had bud rot. After that happened I decide to take a few of the top colas close to where the bud rot happened as I didn’t want to lose them as well (see pics). Even though i chopped quite a few colas off the top she is still a beast!! This plant has been a real winner!! I highly recommend growing this plant especially if you are going to do an outdoor grow. Dinafem deserves props for these genetics

📆 Semana 6 ¡Qué semanita se ha marcado la Grease Monkey! Ya se nota que está bien metida en floración: los cogollos empiezan a coger buena forma, cada vez más apretados y resinosos. Tiene ese rollo pegajoso que tanto nos gusta, y las hojas cercanas a las flores ya brillan con tricomas por todos lados. Estoy siguiendo con la gama de XpertNutrients, que le está sentando de lujo. No he tocado mucho la receta esta semana, solo afinando un poco el riego para adaptarme al ritmo que lleva. Se nota que está en su punto dulce. Los Adlite siguen demostrando que son una inversión top. Gracias a la buena distribución de luz, incluso las ramas secundarias están desarrollando cogollos decentes, no solo las puntas. En cuanto al ambiente, las temperaturas se han mantenido suaves, entre 22 y 25 °C, y la humedad está en torno al 55%, un poco más alta de lo ideal, pero por ahora sin señales de problemas. Estoy ventilando bien y con el ojo encima por si acaso. El aroma empieza a ser un espectáculo: dulce y cremoso, con ese fondo a gas tan típico de la Grease Monkey. Los tricomas están en su mayoría lechosos, así que aún queda tiempo para que siga engordando y afinando perfil. Crecimiento firme, flores con presencia y resina a punta pala… ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

And it looks like they didn't mind that much going to the hairdresser as they keeps on drinking the same and evolving at the same pass. They are all becoming beautiful beast ladies and im loving them all in diferent ways , so far the mor advanced one is the somango followed by the water melon followed by the no idea what it is seed and in the end e have bruce banned, im loving t he fact that they all started same time and that they all are going to finished different, this means i will be trying me second harvest plant smoking my pervious one 😝 . SUNDAY 5/5: Rearranged the gardens..have 17 plants in the 4 x 5 now...yowsa! MONDAY: Plucked some dead leaves and did a trichrome check on them both...about half cloudy now..👌 TUESDAY: I observed some white spots(maybe powdery mildew) on a few leaves here and there, so I sprayed them today with Trifecta Crop Cure, a concoction of a bunch of natural plant oils. I already decreased the humidity in the room to 45% with my new 70L dehumidifier, so I think they'll be fine. I'll spray them again tomorrow and the next day, then I'll have to hope that did the trick, because they are entering the harvest window. WEDNESDAY: I watered them today and included a bunch of terpinator, bud candy, bembe, and cha ching. It was their last dose of any nutes...flushing with spring water from here on out. THURSDAY: Took a couple of photos and tried installing my new Solacure FlowerPower UVB light, but it was dead on arrival.😢..back to the 15.0 reptile UVB lights for now I guess... FRIDAY: The guy at Solacure is awesome! He immediately Fedex'd a replacement!👍 SATURDAY: I took a few photos and inspected trichromes...I guess that's it for them both! I'll start flushing tomorrow.

La gorila glue con sus hojas llenas de resina, he cultivado 6 semillas antes de la misma variedad y puedo ver hasta el momento una cepa estable. Las big bud entraron en mayor observación dado a que dejaron de engordar dos. La Mack va como avión, a pesar de todo lo que se podo al entrar a floración estiró hasta igualar a la Gorila y llenando los brotes de cogollos

Hello fellow grower Starting directly under the Mars Hydro FC6500, seedlings are doing very well (see inputs for distance). The dimming is at maximum power. The light footprint might be a bit oversized for only 20 cups. Technically, for a commercial crop you can stick 1.2 sq. meter of seedlings without any problems. _________________________________________________ Barney’s Farm seeds are as usual, very vigorous ! All the seeds germinated in 24h to 48h. I’m just waiting after the Vanilla Kush to come out from the soil. _________________________________________________ Cellmax BIO Soil is perfect, you can start seedlings with it without risking to burn them. _________________________________________________ Seedlings stage tips: - adding a rotating fan, far enough and on first speed, blowing very gently on the seedlings, will stop them going looney and stretching a long weak stem to reach the light. - fill up the cup with soil, give it a good watering, then plant the germinated seed in the wet soil. _________________________________________________ 24/08 Cup, Water pH 6.5, LT TB 25/08 Cup, Water pH 6.5, AG Bba K Bad Azz 26/08 Cup, Water pH 6.5, Vanilla
