Zweite Woche im Oktober, das Wetter wird immer unbeständiger, die trychome sehen gut aus - Zeit für die Ernte. Ich habe erstmal einige Fächerblätter ohne Harzbesatz entfernt und den Rest zum trocknen aufgehängt. Aufgrund von Platzmangel teils in Umzugskartons und teils im Netz. Nach einer Weile habe ich die Blüten dann vom Stengel getrennt, Manikürt und ins Glas verfrachtet. Aufgrund der Menge war ich bei der Maniküre nicht all zu penibel und habe auch einiges zur späteren Weiberverarbeitung im Eisfach gelagert.

Day 22. Work forced me to open tent 20 min earlier and i had to do shortest watering ever, like in 5 min ... Its hard to implement growing into 12 hours shift, especially during flowering... But girls look nice, drink quick, should be good result, unless .... ;))))))))) Day 23. Girls still run up and i have only 20 cm left max ... Supercroped most streching Middle Clone top, one side is shooting strong, will have to repeat action with it as well in couple days ... So all is good !!! Day 24. All got full feed. Supercroped branch is ok , all leaves are up !!! Got my last delivery, now lady bugs and theirs larvae has new support. When was working with plants yesterday i haven't seen any thrips, but order was made, so i rather use them ... Day 26. Had to clean predators balast from flowers,so i touched them .... Oh boy !!! Wanna chop them now ;))) i think thats one of tastes i was chasing, now waiting is pure PAIN !!! ;)) It looks like i pushed them a bit too far with double feed attempt ... so now , water, water + silica, water + calmag, water + molasses , and only then new feed again. So the nuggets are dense and doubling in size every few days, the trichomes are cover the plants and they are sticky. The Girls are thirsty, I'm topping them off every other day with 1.5 gallons of nutes, at this point I feel like all i'm doing is mixing nutes in the reservoir. By the time I switch over season two to the grow room, i'm going to increase the size of my reservoir to 10 gallon so I can spend less time mixing. I'll be flushing out the buckets in 2 weeks to give the girls fresh water for the final 2 weeks! My Burp bucket project worked out great. Thanks to several youtube videos those videos are much appreciated! I made a few modification to what I saw online. so here's the parts list: (1) 3.5 gallon Menards Bucket (1) Gamma Bucket Lid 18" Black Irrigation drip tubing 12" Fish tank air hose (2) Fish tank check valves (1) tee for air line (1) small fish tank pump I started out modifying the input, most of the videos I saw had a hose with a check valve just poked in the lower part of the bucket with pin holes and end tied off. What I did is I took the black tubing and circled the bottom of the bucket, then I took a small drill bit and drilled holes through the tubing about every 2 inches to disburse the air all the way around the bucket then I used a tee to connect the 2 ends of the circle and connected that to the tube entering the lower portion of the bucket. the next change I made was instead of having a short hose poke through the upper portion, I drilled a small hole and hot glued the check valve inside the bucket with only the top of the valve sticking out of the bucket. After you get all the hoes and check valves in snap on the Gamma Lid, Tighten it up and turn on the pump. I added the hoses going into the water so you could actually see that its working I plugged the pump into a smart outlet and set it to run for 20 min 3 times a day, so no need to manually burp your nuggets while they are curing. You'll also need to put a 62% boneva 2 way pouch in the bucket with the nugs to keep the humidity correct and optionally have a small hydrometer to verify, I'm going to mount one on the lid to be able to check it without having to open the bucket. unless curiosity gets the best of me....

Another happy healthy week

2/3/22: Watered with only aquarium water, no nutes. They are all getting very thirsty! Sherbert was dry and droopy yesterday so I watered her yesterday. I watered all other plants today, they seemed mildly dry/very slightly droopy - so I gave them between a ½-¾ of a gallon each. I'll have to keep a close eye on Sherbet she's very thirsty & she gets hangry easily! (hangry = droopy:)

First day went as expected. I put the paper towel in a small see-thru plastic container and put it on the table. With a bit of water and the seeds in side, the germination has now started! Day 2 no progression, moved the tray into my furnace room (pitch black and warm) Day 3 major progression. I got them out and started to prep the jiffy pellets. Shortly after I transferred the roughly half inch tarp roots with seeds into the jiffy pellets, root down, seed up, slightly covered with dirt. I soaked them in water (like a beginner i overwatered heavily knowing what I know now). I placed them back in the tray and put them at a window for light. (Note) the plan was to do outdoor so no light or tent was ordered at this point. Day 4-7 not much progression seeing as the clouds and rain showed up...

One of the plants grew massive! However the smoke wasn’t the best until a good 4 weeks cure. Very hairy buds too which was interesting 😂 Still a nice smoke

Tuesday 29 Jan Day 94 Aphid attacks on 2 plants.. Got 3 medical 2046 and 2 kush clones for now on their way for reveg 🤞 Update: after watering them one Medical 2046 fell, then checked in the soil where it broke and.... Full of white ants they ate the whole stem! Oh Africa... Gonna have another pretaste..

[ Introduction ] Welcome to my first ever grow journal! I have been growing medically for the past couple years, documenting some of my grows on my Facebook and Instagram (@OnlyTomatoes) pages, as well as several cannabis cultivation subreddits. I've found that I do a lot of things differently than other growers, so I'd like to share a full cycle publicly in case I have the answers to somebody's questions. [ Updates ] Day 4 - Lights have been lowered to 18 inches off canopy, dimmed to 25%. They've recovered from both their transplant and their topping, new growth looks almost perfect. I'm going to keep the accidental sunflowers for a few more days and see if there's any significant difference between plants. They all received a foliar spray of neem, kelp, and a bit of calmag before lights off yesterday. I expect to be able to remove the remaining damaged leaves by the end of this week. Day 7 - Lights increased to 30%, C02 increased to 800ppm, getting ready for week 2 of veg. Fed today, fairly low EC (<1.5) blend of Silica, Calcium, Kelp, Molasses, and Tribus Grow in a mixture of R/O and tap water. Very little runoff at 1gal per pot. Will most likely foliar again before lights off with a light fish hydrolysate mixture to help with any nitrogen issues. Any dead or dying leaves you see are from pre-transplant, I'm just waiting a few days longer for the existing rootballs' ph levels to swing back to a healthy range before removing all that unsightly growth. I'm really not sure when I'm going to remove the sunflowers growing in some of the pots, I've seen no negative effects yet. I could flip group 1 into flower if I wanted, the canopy is level and beautiful, however group 2 will take a while longer to fill a canopy. Normally I would never allow pre-veg plants to have such obvious deficiencies, but constant hand watering led to some poor nutrient decisions on my part. They've been in their final pots for a few days now and were topped on day 0 of veg. I plan on lowering the lights to 18"-24" within canopy around day 3, I'm just allowing some extra time for the roots to really dig in. I've found that a batch of dirt that was used had sunflower seeds in it, possibly winter food storage from an outside rodent, so I'm debating how long I will let these sunflower seedlings grow alongside my plants. They do make a good cover crop with amazing root systems, I just don't think that really applies in pots of this size where plants can choke each other out.

Most of this week I was away so the tent was on autopilot. When i got back i was pleased to see all 4 strains where still around the same on development. The strawberry pie is the smaller of the 2 fastbuds autos. She is starting to throw out some nice colours now. I'm confident this one is going to hit my 13 weeks scheduled for it, so not long left. 💜 8×8 Adventure – Week 14 🌿 Purple Haze by Zamnesia – Pheno B ❄️ The Slow Starter Might Be a Fast Finisher… AND OH MY GOD, THE FROST! 👑💜🌸 Hello everyone, and welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! 🌱💚 And today... I have one thing to say. OH. MY. GOD. LOOK AT THE FROST ON THIS GIRL! 😂❄️💎💜 Seriously! Our Purple Haze Pheno B has taken her sweet time getting here. She started slowly. She stayed compact. She never grew anywhere near as big as her sister. And for weeks, we kept looking at her and thinking: "Come on, girl... when are you going to show us what you've got?" 😂💜 Well... I think she's finally answered. And she didn't answer with height. She didn't answer by taking over half the tent. She didn't answer by trying to become another version of her sister. Nope. She answered with FLOWERS. With density. With structure. And with enough frost to make me wonder whether somebody accidentally left the freezer door open inside the 8×8. 😂❄️ She's still a compact plant. She's still the smaller sister. But when you get close to those flowers... HOLY SHIT. 💜❄️🌸 This girl is beautiful. And here's the really interesting part. Our slow starter is beginning to look like she might also become a fast finisher, much like her sister. I said MIGHT. We're not declaring anything yet. We're not writing the ending before we get there. But the way she's developing has certainly caught my attention. So let's give the Little Frosty Queen her own chapter. Because she deserves every bit of this spotlight. ──────────────────────── ❄️ WEEK 14 — THE LITTLE FROSTY QUEEN HAS ENTERED ANOTHER LEVEL If you've followed this diary from the beginning, you already know her story. She's the smaller Purple Haze. The slower Purple Haze. The girl who took her time while her sister was busy becoming a whole damn sporting arena. 😂💜🏀 Her sister went big. Really big. But Pheno B chose a different direction. She stayed compact. She developed at her own pace. And while we were waiting for her to show us more, she was quietly building her own personality. Now? Look at her. The flower structures are becoming increasingly impressive. The density is catching my attention. And the frost... Oh, the frost! ❄️💎❄️ This is why I love following individual phenotypes rather than treating every plant with the same name as if it were an identical copy. Her sister gave us size and presence. This girl is giving us compact structure, beautiful flowers, and a seriously frosty expression. Same genetic family. Same room. Same general environment. Two completely different stories. And both are worth documenting. ──────────────────────── 💎 OH MY GOD… THE FROST! I know I've said it already. And I'm probably going to say it again. 😂❄️💜 But seriously... THE FROST! Look at those flowers. Look at the sugar leaves. Look at the details in the close-ups. The resin-covered surfaces give the flowers that beautiful frosted appearance, and the closer we get with the camera, the more there is to appreciate. From a distance, you see a compact Purple Haze plant carrying some lovely flowers. Move closer... and the story changes. You begin to notice the details. The flower structure. The texture. The resin. The way the individual floral sites are developing. And suddenly, the smaller sister doesn't look small at all. Not when you're looking at those flowers. 😂💜❄️ She's got her own way of making an impression. Her sister can keep the height. This girl is busy decorating everything in sight. 👑❄️💎 And I'm absolutely here for it. ──────────────────────── 🌿 COMPACT DOESN'T MEAN LESS IMPRESSIVE This is something I really want to emphasize. Yes, Purple Haze Pheno B is still compact. She didn't grow as big as her sister. She didn't develop the same overall architecture. And she certainly hasn't tried to compete with the Big Mama for the title of largest Purple Haze in the room. 😂💜👑 But why should she? A plant's overall size doesn't tell us everything about the flowers it produces. And in this case, her compact structure is simply part of her individual expression. She's showing us a different balance between plant size, flower development, density, and resin appearance. That's what makes this phenotype interesting. We're not looking at her and wishing she were her sister. We're looking at her and appreciating what she actually is. A compact, beautiful, increasingly frosty Purple Haze. And honestly? That's more than enough to make her stand out. 💜🌿❄️ ──────────────────────── ⏳ FROM SLOW STARTER TO POSSIBLE FAST FINISHER? Now this is where things get interesting. Because when I look at her now, I can't help thinking about how slowly she started. She took her time getting established. She stayed smaller. She moved at her own pace while some of the other girls seemed to be racing ahead. But now? She's looking like she might be approaching the later part of her journey much faster than her early development would have led us to expect. And that reminds me of her sister. The Big Mama has also been giving us reasons to watch the finishing process closely. Now Pheno B is making me wonder whether we're seeing a similar pattern in a much more compact plant. But let's keep our feet on the ground. A slow start doesn't guarantee a fast finish. And beautiful, frosty flowers don't automatically tell us exactly how much time remains. What we're seeing is a change in her appearance and development that makes the comparison interesting. That's all. We're not going to force a harvest date onto her. We're going to keep observing the flowers, watching the changes, and comparing the photographs from week to week. If she really does turn out to be a fast finisher... we'll document it when the plant gives us enough evidence. Until then? Same room. Same general lighting setup. Same overall growing environment. Same grower. And yet... look at the differences! 😂💜 That's the beauty of following individual phenotypes. If we only had one plant, we'd know what that plant looked like. With both sisters, we can see just how differently they can express themselves. One became our Big Mama. The other became our Little Frosty Queen. And neither needs to become the other to be worth celebrating. ──────────────────────── 🌸 THE FLOWERS ARE GETTING THEIR OWN SPOTLIGHT One thing I love about this week's photographs is how much attention we can give to the individual flowers. The full-plant shots show us the compact structure. The wider photographs help put her development into context. And then we get to the close-ups... 😂📸💜 That's where she really steals the show. You can see the details in the flowers. You can appreciate their structure. You can see the resin-covered surfaces that give her that frosty appearance. And you can follow the changes compared with the previous weeks. This is why I don't want these diaries to be just a collection of pretty photographs. The photographs are part of the documentation. They let us compare. They let us notice changes we might otherwise forget. And they help us tell the story of each individual plant. Pheno B's story is becoming particularly satisfying because we can look back at those earlier weeks when we were waiting for her to show us more. Now we have a very different-looking chapter in front of us. The girl was never doing nothing. She was developing at her own pace. And now we're seeing more of what that development looks like. 💜❄️🌸 ──────────────────────── 🌿 THE PLANT HAS HER OWN PERSONALITY This is something I keep coming back to throughout the 8×8 Adventure. We have twelve plants sharing one room, but we don't have twelve identical responses. Some plants are tall. Some are compact. Some develop quickly. Some take longer to show us what they're capable of. Some have very different flower structures. And some have a visual expression that makes you want to bring the camera closer every time you walk past. 😂📸 Purple Haze Pheno B is one of those plants. She's not trying to dominate the room through size. She's making herself noticed through her own combination of structure and frost. And that's exactly what I want from these individual diaries. Not a competition to decide which plant is the best. Not an attempt to make every phenotype fit the same expectations. Just honest documentation of what each plant is showing us. And this girl? She's showing us something beautiful. ──────────────────────── 📸 MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY — WHEN YOU GET CLOSER, YOU SEE MORE The closer we get with the camera, the more interesting the details become. 😂💎📸 A full-plant photograph gives us the big picture. A flower portrait lets us focus on the structure. A close-up reveals details that are easy to miss when we're looking at the plant from across the room. And with this Purple Haze phenotype, those close-ups are absolutely worth taking. The frost is one of the first things that catches the eye. But there's more to the story than resin alone. There's the way the flowers are developing. The structure of the surrounding leaves. The variation between different flowering sites. And the overall appearance of the plant as she continues through the flowering cycle. That's why I like documenting the same plant over time. We don't have to rely on a single photograph to tell us everything. We build a visual record. And as that record grows, we can better appreciate the differences between one week and the next. The Little Frosty Queen is giving us plenty of reasons to keep the camera ready. 💜❄️📸 ──────────────────────── ☀️ SAME PHOTONS — DIFFERENT GENETIC EXPRESSION The lighting setup remains part of the same expanded 8×8 environment. We're still using the Future of Grow Black Series LEDs, including the two additional Black Series 600W fixtures supplied for this project. The previous lighting reference was approximately: 🔌 59% power from the plug. ☀️ Around 1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy. Those figures are our established room reference, not a claim that every point across the canopy receives identical light intensity. The plants have different heights and structures, so their positions relative to the fixtures matter. And that's particularly interesting when we compare these two Purple Haze phenotypes. Pheno A developed into a much larger plant. Pheno B remained more compact while producing a very different visual expression. We're providing a shared lighting environment, but the plants are not identical. Genetics, developmental stage, plant structure, and the wider environment all contribute to what we see. That's the experiment. We're not trying to force twelve plants to become twelve copies. We're observing twelve individual responses. 💜🌿☀️ ──────────────────────── 💡 MORE LIGHTING CAPABILITY — MORE CONTROL One of the things I appreciate about the Future of Grow upgrade is that additional lighting capability doesn't mean we have to operate every fixture at maximum output. The two additional Black Series 600W fixtures give us more available capacity and flexibility. We're controlling the output rather than simply chasing the highest possible number. And that matters because the goal isn't just to throw more light into the room. The goal is to create a controlled environment that allows us to observe how the different plants develop. The upper canopy provides one reference point, but the garden is three-dimensional. Plant height, flower position, and canopy structure all affect the light received by different parts of each plant. The Lumiflora lighting also contributes another layer to the overall lighting setup deeper in the canopy. And our Little Frosty Queen is part of that shared environment. A huge thank you to Future of Grow for supplying the two additional Black Series 600W fixtures for us to test. Having that additional capability while retaining control over output has been an important part of this project. 💡🌱💜 ──────────────────────── 🔴 THE RED-LIGHT ROUTINE — ANOTHER PART OF THE EXPERIMENT We're also continuing to document the additional 15-minute red-light period after the main lighting period. Red and far-red wavelengths can influence plant responses through the phytochrome system, which helps plants interpret their light environment. The outcome depends on the wavelength, intensity, timing, duration, and the rest of the conditions. That's why we're recording this as part of our lighting routine rather than assuming it automatically produces a particular result. With Purple Haze Pheno B, the focus remains on documenting her own development. She's compact. She's increasingly frosty. Her flowers are developing beautifully. And we're watching how her appearance changes over time. We can't attribute those characteristics to the red-light period alone without a suitable comparison. That's an important distinction. The lighting routine is one part of the environment we're documenting, not proof of a specific effect. And that's how I want to approach this experiment: observe first, make claims only when the evidence supports them. 🔴🌿🔬 ──────────────────────── 🔬 A LITTLE LIGHT SCIENCE — THE EMERSON EFFECT Since we're talking about red light, let's revisit the Emerson effect. The Emerson effect describes how photosynthesis can respond more efficiently when suitable red and far-red wavelengths are supplied together under particular experimental conditions. It involves the cooperation between two major components of the light-dependent reactions of photosynthesis: 🌿 Photosystem II (PSII) 🌿 Photosystem I (PSI) These photosystems have different light-absorption characteristics. Under suitable conditions, combining light that supports both can produce a greater photosynthetic response than would be expected from the individual wavelengths alone. It's a fascinating example of how plant responses to light involve more than simply increasing brightness. But there's an important distinction. The Emerson effect does not mean that every red-light treatment produces the same response, nor does it prove that any particular short red-light routine will increase yield, accelerate flowering, or determine harvest timing. The spectrum, intensity, timing, and experimental conditions all matter. Our additional 15-minute red-light period is something we're documenting in this grow. We're not claiming that it automatically reproduces the Emerson effect. We're recording the routine, observing the plants, and keeping our conclusions grounded in what we can actually see and measure. That's how we keep learning without turning an interesting scientific concept into an unsupported promise. 💡🔬🌱 ──────────────────────── ⚗️ NUTRITION — THE SHARED ROOM APPROACH The previous shared nutrition reference for this stage of the run was: 🌸 Plagron Terra Bloom — around 2.0 ml/L 🌱 Plagron Power Buds — 1 ml/L 🌿 Plagron Green Sensation — 1 ml/L 🍯 Plagron Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L The previously recorded room readings were approximately: ⚗️ pH — around 6.0 ⚡ EC — around 2.05 mS/cm These are the established reference values from the previous reports, not newly verified measurements for this week's update. The wider approach remains consistent with the room's current stage, while we continue observing the plants individually. And Pheno B is a good reminder that a shared nutritional programme doesn't make every plant develop at the same pace. She's still compact. She's showing beautiful flowers. And her frost is becoming one of the most striking features of this phenotype. We don't need to invent a new story around the numbers. The key point is that Pheno B continues to develop within the same general environment as the other plants. The plants don't read our expectations. 😂🌿 One plant may develop quickly from the beginning. Another may take longer to establish herself. One may become very tall. Another may stay compact. One may catch our attention through size. Another may do it through flower structure and resin expression. Purple Haze Pheno B has taken the slower route. But looking at her now, I'm not thinking about what she failed to become. I'm looking at what she actually is. A compact plant with beautiful flowers and an incredibly frosty appearance. And if she does turn out to be a fast finisher, that will be another interesting part of her individual story. For now, we'll keep watching her development and comparing her progress with the photographs from previous weeks. No competition. No forced expectations. For now, the important thing is that she's continuing to give us something beautiful to document. And after all those weeks of waiting for her to show us more... And our Purple Haze Pheno B is giving us a chapter I absolutely love. 💜❄️👑 She took her time getting started. She stayed smaller than her sister. She developed at her own pace. And now? LOOK AT HER! 😂❄️💎 The frost is beautiful. The flowers are looking fantastic. Her compact structure gives her a completely different character from the Big Mama. And she's showing us that being the smaller sister doesn't mean being any less interesting. In fact, the contrast between the two plants is one of my favourite parts of following them together. Pheno A gives us size and presence. Pheno B gives us compact structure and an incredible frosty appearance. Same genetic family. Same room. Different expression. And both deserve their own spotlight. The possibility that our slow starter might also become a fast finisher is certainly keeping me curious, but we're not going to rush the conclusion. We'll continue observing. We'll keep photographing. We'll compare the changes. And we'll let the plant tell us how her story unfolds. Until then... Keep shining, Little Frosty Queen. Keep showing us those beautiful flowers. Unserer Lang Tall Sally geht es (scheint's) immer noch gut. Die Blüten wachsen, die Blätter sind nach wie vor schön gleichmäßig grün und das Terpen glänzt nur so zwischen den Blüten. Der Geruch ist längst nicht so intensiv wie ich befürchtet hatte. Mittlerweile habe ich die Kola des Haupttriebs mit zwei "Pflanzen-JoJos" stabilisiert, da sie der Pflanze zu schwer zu werden drohte. Erst hatte ich diesen Dingern nicht getraut aber sie halten die Pflanze gut, die trotzdem noch Spiel zum Tanzen hat. Ich wollte keinen Bambusstab o. Ä. in den Boden stecken, da ich befürchtete, ihre Wurzeln zu beschädigen. Sie muss ihre 1,75m in einem Topf versorgen und stabilisieren, der gerade mal 8 Liter Volumen hat. Da dürfte ihr jede Wurzel wichtig sein. ;-) Da die Tangerine Dream Auto eigentlich ein Schnell-Blüher sein soll, sind 12 Wochen schon recht lang. Aber ich habe trotzdem nicht den Eindruck, dass sie schon erntereif ist. Die Trichomen sehen doch noch überwiegend klar aus. Allerdings brauche ich auch eine bessere Lupe. ;-)

She's nearly all done,smells amazing,looks amazing

Hello. This is the end of week 1 and the beginning of week 2 of flowering. My buddy grew the Dos Si Dos 33 outdoors a few years back, and we found it had a red/purple color to it when it was finished. I can see it starting on the stem and leaf stem's. The Pink Kush has a pink/purple color to it. Things are going good in here. The next trim up is between week 2 and 3 of flowering, before the resin starts. I've turned the lights up to 60% to try to cut down the stretching. I've also switched to flowering nutrient with less nitrogen for the same reason. I'm still monitoring to see if there is any sign of the spider mites I had a couple of weeks ago. Can't see any signs of them. Hoping the predatory bugs wiped them out. I'll keep monitoring. OK.
