Mexican Airlines is just awesome!!! Tons of bud sites all developing nicely. My only concern is my Alien vs Triangle hermied on me and I just hope I yanked her before she dropped any pollen on my Mexican Airlines. I think I caught it early enough and should be fine, but I guess there's a chance of some seeds. If so, I'm calling them Mexican Aliens! 😃

Sakura season has begun, I hope everything goes fine. Strawberry Pie is going to have a tough time this week, let's hope it survives, meanwhile there are signs of heat shock and sunlight, it's developing 3 point leaves and strange ramifications but maybe I'm wrong. D38 Defoliation, I hope I haven't overdone the pruning D41 First week of flowering, I think it couldn't have gone better, it's growing visibly, let's hope it's like this until the end, maybe shortening the timing, we'll see. on the contrary strawberry pie has stopped growing, I have to thank that she survived, who knows what will come out of her, I wish her a sweeter climate... D42 Defoliation is limited for what I did last night, I literally deforested, I did it because the humidity was sky high and the vegetation was too thick covering so many peaks,,, the fascinating thing is that they recovered within the night, if I may say that 6 hours of darkness relax the plants just as if they were on vacation.

Well, things are not going really good.. first time grower problems! #3 has nitrogen toxicity - i think that because the soil is very rich and i gave her even more nutes. Only water for now.. #1 and #2 are the ones that look better 🙏 And the Big Bud is bad, really bad.. when she started looking lime green and pale (looked nitrogen defeciency) so i raised the nutes, but few days later when i tested the run off ph it was too much low (orange color, in those cheap ph test kit) i dont have a ph pen yet, so i think it was nutrient lockout. I did a flush until the run off was close to yellow on the test (near 6.0) and now im waiting to see if it gets better.. I waited to long to giver the flush, and some bottom leaves died, at this stage i think i will have nothing to harvest from this plant 😥 23/06/2021 Now plants #1 #2 are also showing signs of some deficiency, run off was very low again so i flush them and increased the nutes..

Radical defoliation this week to get all energy and light to the main nugs. Incorporated some Organic Molasses into the feed to sweeten and fatten up the buds. I'm definitely too close to the lights with this grow, they grew taller than i expected but i didn't top this grow, i wanted it to be more freestyle and natural but my small space (1mx1.2m) dictates otherwise, i will definitely be cropping, topping and mainlining in the next grow, one plant has passed the light and the last time i suppercropped i bust a branch that was irrepairable so i've left them to do their thing till harvest.

week 9 was a good week I watch my pollen sacks grow into beautiful pods cant wait to use it plant doing pretty good health and strong

The buds are still growing and I have already discovered the first amber-coloured trichomes on Bruce Banner and S.A.D. #4. I think the harvest will be ready in 2-3 weeks. Until then, I will continue to observe the trichomes with the microscope.

Jacks at 3.6/1.2/2.4 grams per gallon starting after transplant once per day.

6/13: I harvested both plants today. I did a cursory wet-trim and washed their buds, and then hung them to dry. I'm guessing the ugly one will weigh in at about 80g, and the smaller, pretty one, will weigh in at about 65-70g. The plants ended up being the biggest in my garden, but were a little slower than some of the other strains to get into flower. The buds never swelled up very big, but they're very dense and smell wonderful. The aromas really bring back memories from the last time I grew NL back in the early 90's. Looking forward to giving it a try!👍 I'll update in another week or so with the smoke report and my final thoughts.. 9/16: Initially, it had not much smell or flavor, but after leaving it alone for a few months, it improved quite a bit. This week I decided to introduce nutrition. I am new to this so i went for organic (from what I've read) bio bizz and is also readily available at my local grow shop thankfully haha my first run so I halved the recommended amounts more or less as I didn't was to burn the plants as they are still young.

At the end of the 6 week of bloom the blackberry cake feminised is holding up. Her bloom is not that fruit full as was lacking the essential nutrients to achieve that. Although the lady is blooming nicely. Her leaves have faded due to the lack of nutrients. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. Bruce Banner #3 fast just went to oh water. She is scheduled for harvest in about 2 weeks. She got nice, and frosty under the Hortibloom Solux 350. Looks better then I expected. I think I messed up somewhere along the way. I will still have a little harvest from her.
