9. Blütewoche startet. Die Calypso Sunrocks ist optisch weiter als Kollegin Banana Punch. Hab beide leicht entlaubt und erfreue mich ihrer Pracht! Die Caly bekommt jetzt schöne herbstliche Farbtöne in den Blättern. Ansonsten bei beiden keinerlei Mängel zu sehen. Sehr nice!

My strawberry gorilla is really starting to be a pleasure to grow. At 1st I had it in a small tent with my gorilla cookies and the other plant was taking all the light and the tent was so small I kept having to cut back at both the plants so they would fit in the tent but now they are in the bigger flower tent by themselfs and man all the lollipoping did wanders for this plant it’s got some nice big colas. You could definitely get this plant to make huge colas if done right. Only my 3 auto so I’m figuring it out.

Ok, lets think about this logically - why are the leaves turning brown? it looks like a Calcium/Phosphorus issue, A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE THIS , is it a deficiency??? Unlikely in Hydro as the solution is more effective as there are no contaminants, so this leads me to believe its a lockout, what can cause this ? 2 things = A) Too Much Nutrient Potassium or B) ph is too low - SO to rectify this, i have added more water to the reservoir and raised the ph to 6.3 As i am using more water in the reservoir its entirely possible that when the water goes down,even though the EC stays the same the proportional concentrations of each nutrient can change - for example EC pen says 2.0 when i first fill with 20 litres, the plant drinks 4 litres of water and consumes lots of bloom A+B so when i put my pen in two days later the 16 litres of solution still reads 2.0 but there is a higher proportion of PK. Of course it could always be option C) these plants eat phosphorus for breakfast and need more ..😜 I have checked roots they all ok Wednesday- changed solution , made it slightly weaker EC 1.7 ph 6.2-3 Thursday I had a little chat on Instagram with mammoth , i think they might need less than usual Saturday - noticed some yellowing on the little plant , it’s a confusing as th3 other plants are all using the same nutrients and they are loving life , it might be the buckets , I am much preferring the size of the 35 litre ones , and the root structure is perfect , because the 45 litre boxes are more rectangular than square the roots are sort of sideways . Still waiting for some purple on the tall one 🤔 ITS VERY IMPORTANT IN DWC - Do not automatically think you need to add nutrients , in DWC it’s so much more efficient that less is more , 99% of the time it’s overdone it , normally the tips go brown first , but it’s some circumstance s The concentration can increase without you knowing , FIRST change solution with a little bit less , I usually go to 1.6-1.7 EC TOTAL and 6.3 ph that is a universal solution that provides enough without overdoing it . Today is day 36. I had to tie up some branch’s this morning. The colas have been slowly leaning in every direction, and I wanted to get them back standing straight in the light.i will flush her for a few days seems last batch of nutes burned her a little. I also believe there is to much nitrogen in her roots as some leaves have started to yellow up top. This is just my opinion from what I have been reading. I know Leaves will yellow during flowering, but from my understanding it is usually is the lower leaves. Any feed back would be appreciated.

Hey all! 👋 This week is when most of my plants deficiencies started to show, specially on Matcha 😢so to try to fix this problem I decided to use Revive from Advanced Nutrients on both plants (there were some slight indications that Pistachio might be suffering from some of these issues as well) and since last time it worked amazingly well I just decided to do it... and it seems it did its magic! The changes started to become more obvious near the end of the week when finally Matcha started to grow, so I'm happy! Also, since Pistachio is growing well I decided to do some LST on her as well and she took it without problems 😍 I also believe this issue is a mix of nitrogen deficiency and magnesium (mostly this) and I suppose that's because of the heat that's inside the tent and because I'm feeding my plants with bottled water (different brand) that's probably low on that mineral. In my previous grow I used to add tap water to the mix but the water where I used to live was better so I fear that I might end doing more harm than good if I use this water to feed the plants 😵if the issues continues tho I'll get a bottle of Cal Mag and see if things improve. Day 92 Day 30 Bloom 42ish days remaining. Pour some SUGAR on meeeee.........wowzers the sugar is really starting to cake the sugar leaves now. Got tons of healthy bud sites forming and the smell is just delightful. Did another decent defoliation to keep all the buds site in the light. Keeps it nice and clean with great air flow. Speaking of air flow I added an oscillating fan to keep the air moving under the canopy better. There is a problem forming that I'll need to take care of this week. Another purchase?? 😡 lol De-humidifier......the humidity is very slow starting to raise. I started with 2 humidifiers on full, then 1 on full, then 1 on min for a bit then no humidifier and now its starting to raise with no humidifier so I'm gonna need to deal with this asap as it will become a very big issue in the future if I let my girls get moldy, but no chance I would let that happen! so i'll be on the search for a decent used one this week or purchase a new one unless I learn something new here, which I probably will. A question this week too. about Harvest. mayb 2 questions. So I hear alot of tricks regarding harvest. 24-48-72 hours of darkness before harvest then cut them in the "dark" meaning dont let the bloom lights come on again before harvest. different flush times and so on. what works best for you guys?! I'm thinking 7 day flush since thats why my nute sched says and it hasnt led me astray yet. I'm considering doing a tiny mid bloom flush reccomended by a friend, i like the idea to give just pure water for 1-2 days and kind of give the plants a break from the massive ppms i'm putting them through although I might skip this step if not needed either. 2nd part of the question, if the flower time for this strain is 70-75 days, I realize I should harvest when most of the tricones are milky and some clear with very little to no amber ones. but if I flush for a week before harvest, how do I know when to start the flush, how long is my harvest time frame for maximized potency. I'm guessing with experience I'll be able to know my girls and say yup harvest is x days out but for this one not too sure. 40ish days til harvest is bittersweet, feels so long but part of me loves it, how big can/will these buds get with another 42 days! Overall I enjoyed this grow and learned a lot about living soil. Going for a slow dry, trim, then at least a one month cure. Hopefully another six days and I’ll update with a dry yield. My next batch is already cooking but with 5 gallon pots. 03/25 - Day 7 Drying B & C are done drying and have been in jars for a day now with RH ~60%. Total 3oz from B & C. Total 1.5oz from A & D

Smooth sailing this week. I added the grow nutrients on the mid week water and yesterday and the girls loved it! Number one looks like it’s a little mutated or damaged by me accidentally but is just a tad smaller. Other than feeding every other day or so and filling the humidifier up every day that’s about all.
