I only fed the #2 plant this weeks mix twice as it is about 2 weeks behind the #1 plant. The #1 plant is very close to harvest. I believe it's in generative 4. I've stopped feeding and the lower fan leaves are starting to yellow. I'm going to let it finish without adding any nutes. The reason is to see how much cleaner the smoke is. If anyone agrees or disagrees with this please comment. I fed the #2 plant again on day 5 but only 8ml per gallon of 3-3-5 fruit and flower. It's eating way more than I thought it would. It's also going to be a lot bigger than the number 1. Again I'm learning the organic soil and feed. It's taking some trial and error to dial in.

As most seam to have a very tight growth pattern I honestly think they're going to be monsterous tower's in the coming weeks. with that in mind I gave everyone a good leg shave to increase those chances. Also The Frist trellis is up ! after talking with Katsu about how much he thinks this particular strain may stretch.. i've decided to hang 2 lines of support across these girls. this first being right as we move into FLOWER ! teh second line will go up one the stretch stops..(week3-4 maybe we will see) With that being said, after a slight flush @6.6ph Water, & 24 Hours of darkness happening as I type this entry.. They will receive their first Flower Feeding in the Morning! & the next entry will be our first week of flower ! It is always a blast working from a pack of Reg Seed, let alone an Exciting project like these Katsu beans ! and as we move into flower next week I've taken cuts that I'm hopeful will ensure I have the BEST of the Best Flowers from this run to keep for another run at least.. and maybe even outdoor 2021. The nitrogen level was little to high I'm correcting this I done some high Stress training :)

For about a week now the nights have gone 12/12 I put them at 1000w in the beginning but they became too hot as they grew taller and started burning the tops of my plants. I switched the lights to 750w until i finish setting up the inline fans bringing in the natural cool air from outside. im hoping that way the lights wont burn my babies. With some help I did some light, minor "lollipopping" and defoliation on all plants. I want to see how the plants react then next week I may continue. So far the plants are enjoying their new feeds.

Day 89 Notes I've began to flush with plane tap water and I will be chopping on week 8 so she should be clean as a whistle

Nice week of growth. The girls are about 13 inches on average, D and L are taller. Betty definitely seems like a sativa pheno compared to her sisters. I found some brown algae in my tubs, I did some research and discovered I needed to cover my net pots to eliminate light pollution getting into the tubs. There were only a couple of small spots, I was able to remove it by hand. I slapped some foil on the tubs and made sure each lid was completely sealed. PH has been holding pretty steady and I haven't seen much drift at all. Towards the end of the week it struck me that the stretch is coming. I did some rough calculations on my current height and max height ill be able to have and I feel I should flip to flower by the end of the week when I swap new water in. Another week of veg and a stretch may be too tall with my lights. So I changed the water late on day 42, pulled some fan leaves and adjusted my light timer so when they went out in the morning they'll be off for 12 hours. I've left the MH bulb in for the flip to help control the stretch this first week. I read you can leave it for the first 2 to 3 weeks but depending how this upcoming week of stretch goes I may pop in the HPS during early week 2 of flower to get a little extra height if I think I need it. Was not ready to take clones, I may try to pull some on day 47 coming up, just a busy time of year.

In general, I liked growing this variety, the only thing is a lot of small leaves, it is not very convenient to cut, but the colas are very dense and weigh well, there are also many small stepsons, although I cleaned up during unnecessary time, powdery mildew appeared after the rain, which is difficult get rid of the large number of leaves on the plant, and it's very good)

D61 - The beginning of the fifth week of flower. Most trichomes are cloudy, but there are still some clear, and I'm seeing a few amber. I guess it will take another week, maybe two, until she is done. D66 - Seeing less clear trichomes. She should be ready to harvest within the next week, I think. D67 - The end of another week, and we're getting close to chop day.

Week has been good besides me accidentally snapping my main cola off of my one plant while doing some additional LST. Had to stake a couple of them because of a storm and they didn't seem rooted that well apparently. But all and all decent.
