All the plants are healthy and happy. The leaves are now starting to turn deciduous. Miracle Gushers and Banana Creamz are purple, the Hardcore Zoap are yellow to purple. Also, all the flowers are now full of trichomes and the smell when opening the tent is very strong.

First time grower - Day 3 - Seedling Stage Unknown strain, hopefully its a female Light meter currently reads 101 lux x100 Should I give it more lighting or put it closer to the plant? Using roots organic soil, should I prepare for nutrient feeding after week 1? And if yes, what nutrients should I feed them?

So Friday will be day 70. I messed up a lot, did lst and used big pots so I'm thinking these might go 3-5 more weeks. They smelled so amazing a few times today though. First the purple punch, then the sour diesel, then the girl scout cookies, each gave off aromas one after the other a few times today. The purple punch smalls so sweet and delicious.

I really like the colors coming out in these buds. They are getting more purple every day. Looks like they are going to stack up pretty fat too. I spread the plants out a little this week so they get better light and air flow. Other than that I haven't done anything besides keep the reservoir full. Still pumping nutrients 1 minute on 20 minutes off. They are getting .5 tsp maxibloom per gallon. Not going to run any boosters this round. They dont look like they want or need it.

Week 6 flower, half way there! Buds are starting to fill in now and getting some decent frost. A couple of tops are getting more light than others, and fattening a bit more and looking real nice. It looks like there is some purple starting to come out at the tops. She is strong and will go as fast as the soil and environmental conditions will allow her to. Hand watered in Gaia Green Soluble Seaweed Extract 0-0-17, otherwise water drip is running on same schedule. Just using straight tap water that sits in a 30 gallon reservoir with a submergible water pump running 24/7 breaking surface and aerating water. Water comes out the tap @ 7ph and less than 15ppm. 8/14/23 - Day 62 - The buds are getting bigger and starting to connect. There are so many buds so close together that for sure these are bound to be big buds. I'm noticing the smell is starting to get stronger as well. The roots are still looking great. We did another water change today, a couple of days late. I just forgot to do it. There are some pictures in here of my RO Water Setup. I have a water hose that I hook to the RO unit, and then it passes a 1:1 ration of water to wastewater. Right now, it's all done manually by me, but I have plans to make it automatic. I had to throw this update in as I was sitting at my computer. I opened the door to where the box is, and my wife said, "WHOA..... things are going well in there, huh?". I was in the room doing some peaking in the box. I then closed the door and went inside. My wife yelled that out from the other room, triggered by using her nose..... lol So now I need to air the room out before I open the door to leave after visiting the box. Lol, I need an airlock of sorts! I actually have a carbon filter and inline fan I could hook up and run when I walk into the room. I can have it turn off after X number of minutes......Looks like another project! 8/15/23 - Quick update. Today is day 63! 8/16/23 - Day 64 - Overnight, she looks much bigger. Day 49 to 56. I'm not going to hide that I'm in a hurry to finish the run. The mold arrived at the end of bloom because of me, it's depressing... Thanks for your comments these last weeks. :) This 8th and last week of bloom for the Kum Zuat 1. I continued to rinse the plant all week with power clean at 5ml/l. The Kum Zuat was harvested at 56 days of bloom with 1 week of rinsing. I still found some mold on some buds of several plants that I immediately removed. My yield will be affected, I still have this pretty Kum to cheer me up! All the photos and videos on this update are about Kum Zuat 1. The other plants have been fertilized normally for this 8th week, you will find them in pictures next week. I enter the 9 th week of bloom and I have 4 plants left which will be all cut on day 63 of bloom also with 1 week of rinsing. 1 kum zuat 1 kosher cookies 2 gmo x animal cookies Can't wait to start this new run.... Method 🎚️ Medium: 🥥🥥 We ran this one in an even parts soil, compost, coco and purlite mix. The hope was to minimize required nute feedings and maintenance. The addition of nute nuetral coco proved to be somewhat of a mistake and may have contributed to some unnecessary plant stress when she used up all the available natural nutes in the soil and compost. There simply wasn’t enough good stuff in the medium to see her happily through the cycle without extra supplementation. I’d do this again but leave out the coco and layer the compost at the bottom with minimal medium saturation and runoff in early/mid veg. This should achieve better results the next time round. She was entirely untrained and allowed to stretch to her highest height. A better yield definitely would’ve been derived with some topping/mainlining and training but regardless, her freak flag flew high and She went unnoticed by unwanted eyes. We won’t be able to grow high next year due to construction next door so this may be the last time I run a skyscraper outdoor in the rear yard. 1/5 volume emojis for method because there really wasn’t any training. 2/5 coconut emojis- not for the lack of training but due to the unsupportive medium amendments like the coco. Yield🌴🌴🌴 And now the part we all seem to measure with great expectation. The expectation in this case was to pull 9-12oz off this girl and we fell well short of that. For the reasons mentioned above as well as the fact that she was putting at least some of her efforts into seed production too. We spotted it pretty early on in flower and some stalks started showing signs of ball formation that every grower fears. I was really concerned she’d be a full on hermie but this didn’t happen and it seems it was just localized pollination. Probably due to an occasional, randy bumblebee that had come from elsewhere. It’s not all bad at all and we did pull a few seeds off of her that we’ll give a shot to in the future I think👍. Final yield - 7.18oz. I’m never going to complain about a quarter pound off a plant that needed almost no maintenance whatsoever👍. 3 palm tree emojis for not going full hermie and putting out enough of this magically intense bud to share with friends and family👍 Props As always, big shout-out thank you to GD for making this site accessible to us. Super easy and quick grow for this girl. She took to LST without issues and developed some really stinky and dense buds. She was a fairly small plant but most likely due to the training. Definitely looking forward to running this strain again and might be sooner rather than later, depending on the smoke.

22/11/21 thanks to the grow diary community realised there was a slight over watering issue and nitrogen toxicity. Have lowered the bio grow to 0.5ml per litre and introduced 0.5ml bio bloom as will start flowering period next week. defoliated the plants on the bottom branches to promote growth of the higher ones. Will now only water once every 3 days not every other day. 350ml of filtered water. - Lights are at 80% brightness for final week of veg. 25/11/21 defoliated largest fan leaves near the base of the plants - bud sites are appearing in light green
