Most of the week was spent setting up the hydro grow. Needed to build a DIY chiller since air temp in our grow room is hot, and water needs to be a good deal colder. Fridge from kijiji, garden hose, fittings, and submersible pump all in were under $100 but knowing what I know now I'd likely go with a thermoelectric chiller (DIY, with power supply and temp controller) next time around. Looking forward to tracking metrics and seeing how it goes :). Seems there's a lot of contradiction in terms of level of nutrients recommended, max water temperature, using H2O2 to boost water temp that can keep algae and rot at bay, etc. Got my hands on some Hydroguard via Amazon... despite local shops saying you can't get it in Canada... so I'm going to go with that instead of H2O2 to start, despite water temp getting up above 21 C (70 f) during the day. Fingers crossed. Update - keeping water reservoir tank under 20 C now by using reflective bubble wrap insulation on the reservoir itself and pipe insulation as well. It's a 10 C difference from the room temp, so I'm SUPER pleased with that.

The first harvest of the spring session is ready: we are talking about the very fragrant, very resinous and delicious Fruit Punch Automatic naturally branded Zamnesia. ** We remind all users that we are growing two plants per strain, one worked with techniques and the other left to grow freely and beautifully to preserve its speed. Description // This plant has not had any techniques applied, it has had few human interventions but always useful. Letting the plant grow does not mean "doing nothing" but you must always keep an eye on the color of the leaves, clean up the bottom while the plant grows and let only the last 20 cm or so of each branch flower. Of course there is a range of possibilities in this but know that the more stuff you leave below the more the stuff above will be weakened, so learning to find the right balance between cleanliness and size of the buds will make you better growers. I am very satisfied with this plant and one is coming with the main lining, low but with very large flowers and even more beautiful than this one. Trichomes and Maturation // We made a careful observation in micro at 10x (and 10x x 1.6) and we noticed a good percentage of amber trichomes, the majority milky and few transparent, for us it is a great time to harvest. I do a lot of day use so I do not want to over-mature the plants, oxidize the THC and make them become relaxing. Even the best sativa matured on palal becomes more indica. I need to control the day use effect a lot. Fertilizers and Soil // We used the organic line of Plagron fertilizers the whole time, all the recommended additives and the unfertilized and organic Pro Mix soil. Calculate everything according to your needs on the site ------ https://plagron.com/ Fertilizers are available in convenient packs on the Zamnesia website --------- https://www.zamnesia.io/it/11457-plagron-easy-pack-natural.html One of the best in recent years with a very high THC level ------------------------------------------------------------------ https://www.zamnesia.io/en/10965-zamnesia-seeds-fruit-punch-automatic.html Zamnesia Brief Description // Sativa strains are very rewarding to grow, but their long flowering times and greater susceptibility to disease and over-fertilization can make them a little more difficult to manage. Additionally, their imposing heights are less suitable for indoor use and can attract unwanted attention when grown outdoors. However, with the arrival of Fruit Punch Automatic, growing sativa strains at home has become a lot easier. Combining Skunk #1, Haze and ruderalis, Fruit Punch Auto is 70% sativa dominant and produces up to 21% THC, along with a delicious blend of terpenes. Additionally, it can be grown indoors, outdoors and in greenhouses. With its bright shades of green, golden pistils and thick layer of resin, Fruit Punch Auto buds always have a great appeal. When you smoke her, you will be amazed by her flavours, aromas and effects! As the name suggests, Fruit Punch Auto boasts delicious tropical aromas reminiscent of banana, pineapple, mango and citrus. When you open the jars you will feel like you are in a tropical cocktail bar on an exotic beach. Fruit Punch Auto will delight your palate with pungent fruity notes followed by light notes of Skunk and spice on the exhale. Within minutes of taking the first hit, this powerful sativa will stimulate your mind, leaving you in an energetic and carefree state, ideal for morning or daytime sessions as well as social settings or creative pursuits. The whole world of growing and much more is on Zamnesia: just take a look at the site and you will find "all the best that nature has to offer" in various shapes and colors. --------------- www.zamnesia.com

I'm loving this strain so far she is very short in stature and takes to training very well the structure I'm liking ...she was bent around some more this week and recovered very well. The girl will be continued with the trading for at least another 4 weeks before the flip over to flower . I'm getting excited to see how she will look in another week just such good genetics ...cheers fam

I'm now on vacation for 2 weeks so all photos will be from my security camera. From what I can tell my new clones are greening up and putting out some new growth. My blumats had a runaway on day 3... luckily my neighbor was around and was able to slow the drip rate down on my one plant which was starting to flood my box. It has now stopped dripping and my hope is there will be no more hiccups..I will be watching closely over my vacation. 😅🙏

BHB has stretched from 20 cm to 70 cm in 3 weeks. DinaMed is at 50 cm. DinaMed's deficiency seems much better since flipping to flower. EC of BHB 1.3, DinaMed is 1.1, New air pump is shooting 396 Gal/h per bucket compared to just 58 last grow. Root mass has doubled. No sign of rot or root problems. Check out the video for more.

Still a Mystery… Or Maybe Not? 🤔🌿 Alright, growmies—this “Mystery Autoflower” is keeping me on my toes. The more I observe her, the more convinced I am that she’s no auto at all. At this point, there should be pistils everywhere... but nope, still no sign of preflowers. That’s definitely not typical for an autoflower this far in, and I’m starting to think I might’ve accidentally popped a Red Hot Cookies seed instead. 😅 Well… turns out my so-called "Mistery Autoflower Magic" from Sweet Seeds wasn’t quite what I thought she was. After week after week of no pistils and a stretch that just wouldn’t stop, I had my suspicions—and now it’s confirmed: She’s not an auto at all, but a photoperiodic Red Hot Cookies! 😅 Honestly, I’m not even mad. She’s been growing beautifully, showing strong structure and healthy vigor all along. She did stretch nicely over the past days, which had me thinking bloom was kicking in—but so far, it’s just veg vibes. Still, she’s looking healthy and happy, so I’m not complaining. 💧 Feeding Routine this Week: 🔸 BioBizz Grow, Bloom and Top Max 🔸 CalMag 🔸 Alg-a-Mic 🔸 Silica spray (every 3 days for strong leaves) 🔸 Homebrewed compost tea (2 days after feeding) 🔸 Effective Microorganisms (2 days after that) 🌡️ pH: 6.5 📈 EC: 1200 Let’s see what the next week brings—maybe she’s just fashionably late. Either way, she’s looking bushy, balanced, and ready for whatever’s next. Stay tuned! 🌱💫

Harvest time, both divine storm ladies did amazing under the Mars-Hydro TSW2000. Pheno 1 was an absolute monster! Huge dense buds!! Pheno 2, while the runt of the grow, also produced impressive buds. Will update in 7-10 days with weight and initial smoke report. Update - April 16 - dry weight of 47 grams on DS2 and 77 grams on DS1. Results are close to round 1 grow, very impressed with the TSW2000 light!

Enjoying her progress over the last week. Lowered humidity today a tad to slightly increase vpd. Also lowered light a few inches and may do so again. Will keep it here until we progress in flowering. Expect to start LST this week. Will include plant and light height and distance details once I begin LST. Her sister, punch berry cookies, moved to flower tent. PoG will finish in veg tent, alone, as I’m shutting down for vacation in April. Video/photos taken 14 days after breaking soil.

~ GG4 SHERBET FAST FLOWER by FastBuds ~ Well fam, here we go again with another epic strain from FastBuds Fast Flowering stable. After having such tremendous success growing their Gorilla Cookies Fast Flower outdoors last year, I've decided to run another of their fast flowering strains outdoors this year... GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower! The best description of this awesome cultivar comes directly from my friends at FastBuds which is as follows: "Bred from extremely potent and flavorful Gorilla Glue and Orange Sherbet genetics, GG4 Sherbet FF (Fast-Flowering) takes all the best traits to the next level, offering a high-yielding strain that can produce up to 600 g/m2 in a 7-week flowering time. This super resilient Indica-leaning hybrid thrives indoors and outdoors, and in all types of climates while producing mouth-watering sweet, fruity, spicy and earthy terps that translate into a delicious sugary hazelnut aroma. Expect an extremely relaxing and overall happy effect that’ll leave you with a huge smile from ear to ear. It’s the perfect strain for growers of all levels of experience seeking low-maintenance yet highly productive photoperiod varieties that deliver quality and quantity without extra effort. GG4 Sherbet FF grows chunky buds with long dark orange hairs and spade-shaped calyxes that get encrusted with trichomes by harvest time, giving them a gorgeous silvery-white appearance. This medium-sized photoperiod can reach up to 200 cm in height and yields up to 650 g/m2 while developing that typical hybrid structure. GG4 Sherbet FF grows with a stocky, bushy appearance, developing one sturdy main cola and fat side branches that support huge yields without much effort. This super-fast variety produces distinctive light-green buds with a high bud-to-leaf ratio, making your trimming sessions a breeze. It’s a top-notch resin producer that doesn’t need much maintenance and will thrive in almost every climate, rewarding growers of all levels with extremely flavorful resin that makes for outstanding hash end extracts." ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower indoors as our weather is still too cold to put her outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 30's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 6/7- Well, here we go into Week Ten from seed for the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower and I have to say she's really beginning to look like she will be a beautiful example of this strain! 6/9- Our weather is beautiful now with daytime high temp's in the 80's F without a lot of rain so I am watering her daily at sundown with approximately 3-5g of well water straight from the garden hose. 6/11- The FastBuds GG4 Sherbet FF continues to sprout new growth daily now, and I have been training her branches throughout the trellis net. I was going to install a second trellis net, but decided to just use the single net and do some HST on her to keep her canopy opened up. 6/13- I gave the GG4 Sherbet FF a good watering today at sundown via the garden hose with straight well water. I am planning on top dressing her in roughly 7-10 days from now with a blend of 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with some worm castings in anticipation of the start of flowering in the near future. There's another week chalked up and it won't be long until the real excitment begins when this lady begins to go into flower! Thank you for checking out my diary, your positive comments and support make it all worthwhile! 💚Growers Love!💚😎🙏

Guys, I haven't done anything this week 🤦🏻‍♂️ but i made a lot of content I had a lot of other things to do, so I didn't touch the girls and gave them complete freedom - they turned out to be whores and got very loose 😂 This weekend I'm taking the girls to the salon, we'll do a new haircut and then I'll give them 12 hours of rest 💚☘️🥦💕❤️😍

Week 8: Everything is going great. I didn't plan on taking them all out again till they got chopped, but decided to get them out one at a time today and give them a good thorough defoliation, peeled off any undergrowth and water and feed them all. Temps remain completely under control and no longer an issue, even in 90 degree weather here. I've continued to alternate between feeding and just water, cal mag and fish shit. The only plant of the 6 to show any deficiencies was the #1 Skunk. Every leaf on leaf chart looks same to me lol. I upped today's feeding to 3/4 strength instead of half strength. If I had to guess, I would say that this is the last feeding for the Creme de la Chem, Strawberry Couch and the Double Grape. Those three will likely all fall in the 70-80 day harvest range and those three are at day 58. Not 100% on the #1 Skunk or not, it may get one more feeding, along with the Watermelon Skittles. The Fruit Punch? Well there is a chance I will be smoking cured Creme de la Chem before that one gets chopped lol. It will continue to get fed for a while as buds still very under developed. Today's defoliation was barely anything for a couple plants like the Watermelon Zkittles. A few big fan leaves blocked bud sites, but the Skunk needed thinned out badly and I took a good 20 minutes to go around the outside them come in from over top to really get in there and try to make some airflow and better light penetration. These are definitely drinking at different rates but in order to not be mixing up stuff daily, I feed them all on the same day and the couple that still had some weight to them just get less. I think these will all meet and exceed my 2 ounce goal per plant and 5 of the 6 after topping and training have conformed to the types of plants I really want to grow with the space I have. Thats 6-8 tops on a short compact plant. The Fruit Punch went off the reservations waiting till day 50 to start flower and is acting like this is a 3 plant grow not a 6. But shoving it in corner and putting short Skunk plant by it on bucket to raise up canopy along with raising one side of my TSL2000 and lowering other side towards shorter plants appears to be working great. Its great to be thinking about the flush. Having plants out, I did check trichomes on a couple just for the fun of it and mainly clear so got couple weeks or more for most of these.

Girls are doing ok. Will be increasing the nutrients slightly this week as we are now in week 2 of flower. Day 9, roots are super healthy which is key to some good fruits.
