Hello everybody! Here we are a week later and I’m starting to see some nice improvements and developments. This week I fed all plants pretty heavily with Recharge and Dolomite Lime (and a little Cal Mag). The plants seemed to like it, the color is really coming back to a nice shade of green instead of the pale yellow’ish green and I'm starting to see nice bud sites developing! I’m going back to my normal nutrient routine this week and think it should be fairly smooth sailing from here. One negative is I seem to have inherited some bugs from my wife. She asked me to put one of her outdoor plants in the room so it would survive the winter, well it looks like that plant was infested with bugs. The little f’ers had a feast on some of the leaves. My wife gave me the OK to toss the plant, so with the plant removed it should be fairly easy to irradiate any remaining bugs with some sticky paper. I’d like to say thank you to all who answered my question regarding recommend reading on cannabis. I’m selecting the answer for the Grow Bible by Greg Green because I was actually unaware of that one. I’m familiar with the Cervantes and Rosenthal versions but not Greg Greens. I’ll be ordering that book after I receive and finish “True Living Organics” by The Rev (should be here tomorrow). This week I have a new question for my GD friends…. CO2? I have not been using CO2 but EVERY book I read recommends using it, I’m not prepared to go out and buy a CO2 tank, regulator, etc… at this time. Has anyone ever used one of those CO2 bags? Or do you have any DIY CO2 solutions you can recommend? I’m looking forward to your answers on CO2. You do not need to alternate between metal halides (for growth) and sodiums (for flowering). That is an oversimplification of the plant's light requirements. Hello everyone. This week the plant took of. She's stretched quite a bit during the last days showing her sativa dominance, buds are building up nicely. Day 28 I topdressed with humus and compost mixed with 7-10 grams of organic mineral npk 5-10-15 to give her some extra feeding to start flowering. She's going thirsty every two days now so I alternated water and feeding with humus tea and molasses. Watering volume about 5-6 liters. Only training this week has been removing two or three fan leaves which were occluding the lower buds. Well looks like my yield is going to be substantial. Noticed accelerated growth in the last 3-4 days. Been using cinnamon (anti-fungal) and perlite to top their substrate. Also been using a foliar spray twice daily (dusk/dawn). Lighting is supplemented with waterproof C.O.B. led's which run 20hrs on 4 off besides on exceptionally sunny afternoons where I then turn them off til shade casts again. Total growers but not showers. No strong calyx formation yet, maybe into first week of flower.

Hi Gromie's Welcome to my Experimental & tent filler grow. 2 Orange sherbet FF FASTBUD CLONES that were left over when transplanting my current other FF FASTBUD clones into final 15 ltr pots. Originally had 4 left over however due to my mistreatment & lazyness at the time, only feeding/watering every 3 to 4 days, which caused slowed growth, the other 2 died & these 2 were brought back from the brink of death! Picture of them in white container next to current flower run. Transplanted from small pots into net pots, plant#1 had 1 small root protruding from pot, #2 had 1 little main root not even growing out of pot! Put them into 15 ltr Dwc pots running 2 airlines & stones per plant to give plenty of oxygen & help combat any root issues & quick growth. Hot temps as it's summer rising the same temps as environment inside tent. Have been placing frozen water bottles into pots to reduce temps. Add 2 frozen bottles per pot, reduced temps right down to around 17°c. Change bottles out twice a day. Temps slowly rise over extended period until ice melts. Experimenting with different training methods, lst ,hst Mainly super croping. Have been Hst bending, pinching stems & roughing them up.which causes the stems to grow stronger, repairing themselves along the way as well as the hst bending, I also go around & pinch/ squash the stems every few inches which really strengthens the stems & branches! In fact I've done no tying down! I've managed to create a flat table top canopy with out tying down to hold shape. Super crop them over, they grow strong stems & hold that shape, as they grow out they always start to grow back up towards the light & I continue the process of bending, pinching & damaging stems so they grow strong & hold shape by them selves. Going well & it doesn't seem to slow them down much at all, given I grow perpetually using separate veg & Flower tents makes it impossible to train through scrog net in veg! Trying to train an established plant through a scrog can be difficult & easy to damage or break branches . However I like the benefits off scrogging so looked at a way to make it easier to scrog already veged plants. This is the training methods I've come up with, taking & incorporating established training methods of various soughts to create plants with flat table top canopy. That way when moved to flower tent I can just lower scrog net over the top of plants to hold them in that shape & train through the net as they go through flowering stretch, making it a lot easier! I've come up with a name for it & I'm calling it the pre scrog ! Method of training. In fact it seems to be going so good that the plan is to see if I can scrog them without a scrog net as they are holding that table top canopy shape & have super strong stems that are solid as a rock, can't squeeze or pinch repaired stems, they are super strong, holding shape & should be able to support the weight of the buds, lower growth already lolliepoped as I don't see the point growing that lower growth out just to lolliepop it & remove it once in flower. It's similar to why I grow relatively short plants when scrogging. I see some growers growing 2 to 4 foot plants which take longer to veg only to lolliepop & remove bottom half to 3/4 of the growth, so you end up with 2 foot of bare lolliepoped stems & branches under canopy? Each to their own/I guess. I grow mine around a foot before putting into flower so there's between 20 to 30 cm of lolliepoped stems under the canopy & a foot or 2 trained through scrog net & above .

Mandarin XL auto is growing great. She is shifting more into flowering. I did a solution change on her 4 days ago. Today I lollipopped her canopy and selective defoliation in canopy. Just opening her up more so she can stretch more. Nothing more to report on at the moment. Hey now, hope everyone has been well. Super excited football season is finally here so things are about to get busy. I went out of town for 4 days and the plants struggled a little bit with the PH getting slightly too high before I returned. I also came back to see that some type of insect was munching away on the lower leaves of this little Sundae Driver, so I sprayed the plant and coco with neem oil, but hopefully they didn't do much damage before I can get them under control I have never experienced insect problems indoors, likely because I grow in Coco and not Soil. However, I left a 5 gallon airpot full of coco from a previous grow outside for a couple weeks by mistake, and pretty sure bugs got into. I won't make that rookie mistake again. Anyways the rest of the ladies are looking pretty good, They are almost getting what I consider a full dose of nutrients, even though it half of the manufacturers recommended dosage. I am feeding all Gen Hydro cal mag, Armor Si, and maxi grow. I also add some food grade hydrogen peroxide to keep the reservoir fresh for around 10 days or so but I clean it once a week. Not sure why GD website doesn't allow me to enter GHE under the old or new name. I did get all the ladies transplanted from solo cups to airpots on day 16, and it took 24 hours or so for them to recover from the transplant and start growing again. I am running 3 of the 3.4 gallon, and 2 of the 5.4 gallon just because that is what I had available. I hopefully top them all sometime this week for the first time, as soon as the roots are a little stronger. I let them grow to 7 nodes or so before I top them and make sure they're growing fast. Hopefully I can still mainline the Sundae Driver, she looks healthy other than those two leaves chomped off. All the plants are on their 5th nodes, except for the Green Crack 2.0 which is only on her 4th node. We got another heat wave coming through my region that I am not too excited about but at least its earlly in the game and I don't need to crank this light up yet. I am only running it at 30% and its putting off plenty to keep these ladies happy. Hoping to get a topping done this week, then another one next week, and be ready to flip to flower by week 7 or so. Fattening the buds and making them grow. Nice smell. Buds are heavy causing the branches to fall, losing strength, I'm having to tie them up. Very fat.

Going great so far except the 2 Gorilla Zkittles are still a little far behind but they are starting to bounce back! Day 18 everything finally transplanted in 5 gallon pots except the hulk berry is in the 3 gallon, hopefully the 1 small gorilla zkittles hits a growth spurt soon🤞🏼

Flower18, riego con 6.2 pH y EC 2.2, pequeña defoliación. Flower22, riego con 6.5 pH y 3.0 EC. Hoy las plantas me han sorprendido, están creciendo mucho sus flores, se están viendo muy llenas. Me preocupa que por el espacio muy justo, puedan generar hongos, tendré que colocar tutores para separar un poco las ramas y mejorar la ventilación poniendo 1 o 2 ventiladores extra, quizás darle más potencia al extractor también. A parte de eso van súper bien 😁
