Current Highlights: Topping & Tiny Pistils Topping Done Right: Both ladies got their first topping this week! Cut the main stem carefully with disinfected scissors above Node 5. Let’s see how they recover from that, but I guess they’re big enough to take that blow like champs. Durban’s Pistil Surprise: Spotted early pistils (white hairs) on the Durban – wait, already?! Stay calm: Durban Poison is photoperiod, so this isn’t full flowering. Likely causes: Light stress? Double-check nighttime darkness during “indoor curfew” – even small light leaks can confuse photoperiods. Longer days in late April/May will keep her in veg. No need to panic! What do you guys think? Have you experienced pre-flower this early under sunlight? Nutrient Needs Rising: Lower leaves on the Blueberry show faint lighter green hues – Biobizz Light Mix is running low on juice. Next move: Transplant into Biobizz All-Mix (richer in nutrients) after topping recovery. ______________________ Chapter Update: Garden Bed Prep – Building Their Forever Home This week’s big project: Prepping the outdoor spots where these ladies will live their best lives! Here’s the dirt: - Holes Dug: Two 50x50x50cm pits (perfect for root freedom!). - Soil Mix: - 20L Biobizz Worm Humus – worm-powered nutrient gold. - 20L Biobizz All-Mix – for structure and organic goodness. - Homemade Compost – loaded with worms, horn shavings (slow-release nitrogen), and lime (pH balance). - Why It’s Lit: This mix is a 100% organic buffet – worms till the soil, microbes feed the roots, and the girls get everything they need to explode in summer! ______________________ Chapter Update 2: Pot Upgrades & Root Magic Update: 15.04.2025 (Day 39) Today’s mission: New shoes for the ladies! The Trigger: Noticed the first true leaves hinting at hunger (fading green, subtle yellow whispers) – Biobizz Light Mix had given its all. Time for a nutrient boost! The Process: - Pot Upgrade: Swapped their 0.27L cups for 1.5L plastic pots (hello, legroom!). - Soil Mix: - 2:1 All-Mix to Worm Castings – All-Mix for structure, worm goodies for microbes. - Root Reveal: Popped the old pots off – root porn alert! Creamy-white tendrils everywhere, with fuzzy mycorrhizal hyphae hugging them like a snug sweater. - Myco Re-Up: Dusted the root ball’s “four corners” with fresh myco powder (symbiosis 2.0!). - Tomato Trick: - Removed the lowest node’s leaves and tiny side branches. - Planted them deeper to bury part of the stem – this’ll spark new roots along the buried stem (works like a charm for tomatoes, so why not cannabis?). ______________________ Catch ya next week: Stay grounded, stay growing… and stay blazing! – Smoking_Joe_Frazier

The plants are still alive but due to temperatures below 5 °C there is almost no growth. Hope weather next week will be more sunny and warmer.

running out of space..lol,despite defoliage and tidy,still coming along nicely ,starting to reek .ph is in normal range,start of week gave a days flush.will consider if any extra nutrients required over next few days eg.advanced overdrive.

The weather in my country suddenly got warmer unexpectedly. That's why I'm having problems with the temperature. Still, it seems to be going well for now. I watered on the 51st day. I will do it again today and with full fertilizer.

The big day is here! 😎 Today, March 28th, 104 days (15 weeks) after germination, I have harvested my first indoor photoperiod plant. It has been an incredible challenge, especially managing it in the middle of a winter environment, but the results speak for themselves. 📏 Harvest Data (Wet Weight) -Total Wet Weight: 56.5 grams (15.7g + 40.8g). -Final Height: 40 cm of pure density. -Status: Rock-hard buds and an impressive resin layer. -Dry Estimate: I estimate that after water loss (60-70% less), the final dry weight will be between 14 and 17 grams, given how dense the buds are and the cold conditions we’ve faced. 🌡️ Process Summary -Managing a grow with lows of 12°C for my first indoor photoperiod experience has been difficult. I am aware that a climate control system would have been ideal, but the budget is what it is 😆. Despite the limitations, using lukewarm water for irrigation and controlling the lamp height were vital. This plant has been a great learning experience, and I am sure the next one will be much better, applying everything I’ve discovered during these 15 weeks. Now, on to a slow and controlled dry so the flavor is as spectacular as its look! I want to wrap up this diary by thanking everyone who has joined me during these 15 weeks. Your likes, and comments have been an extra motivation to pull this Critical through despite the cold challenges. It has been an incredible learning journey, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my first indoor photoperiod plant. -Week 3 of flower. The plants are starting to look better since I corrected the ec and ph. The buds are swelling en the new growth is nice and green. Let's hope they have recovered by next week so they can get back to full focus on the buds.

This week she’s smelling so peng. Literally cannot wait to taste her. I haven’t got a x30 loop eye piece so can’t check the trichomes proper but she looks nearly done. The thc is still milky from what I can see and most hairs are nearly all orange now. I’m flushing her every 3/4 days pure water now from the tap. Leaving her to dry in between last Run off at 378 which is pretty normal for my tap water. Biggest cola at 16.5cm circumference now. So looking forward to giving her the chop. Although She had been showing signs of stress throughout the grow it seems like nothing can stop the hulkberry from yielding a good harvest. Unbelievable I’ll be growing this in again for sure.

I’ve added recharge to the plants to boost growth and they responded well, there’s one LSD-25 that isn’t getting as much growth out of her and seems to be very small. The Purple Lemonade has started to show signs of pre-flower development but the LSD-25’s continue to veg out. I’ve added pasture raised egg shells to my medium for more calcium to be available for the plants

8/12 day 64 plants in smaller pots suffer a bit from nutrient deficiency. Living soil seems to fit better in large setups, anyways they will be feeded with tap water only until i chop them.

Hello again, GrowDiaries family! 😎 We’ve officially entered Week 11 (5th week of flowering) and this Critical is breaking the rules. Even in full bloom, she managed a last stretch, reaching 40 cm. The reaction to this week's defoliation has been simply perfect, and the energy is now 100% focused on the flowers. 📏 Precision Measurements & Training -Height: 40 cm (a surprising +3 cm stretch since last week). -Canopy Management: The LST and the deep defoliation from this past week have created the ideal environment. Airflow is optimal, and light is reaching the base of every cola. -Visual Check: I’m continuing with the white light photography. Resin production is at its peak, and the first milky trichomes are already starting to appear. 🌡️ Environment & Climate Challenges -Temperature: We are still managing those tricky nights at 12°C and 27°C during the day. -The Strategy: The lukewarm water trick after the defoliation was key. The plant showed no stress and continued growing vigorously despite the cold floor temperature. -Humidity (RH): Stable at 40-45%. This is crucial now that the buds are gaining density to prevent any mold issues. 💧 Watering & Organic Strategy -Nutrient Strategy: Maintaining the Biobizz schedule: Bio-Grow 1ml, Bio-Bloom 2ml, and Top-Max 1ml per liter of water. She is drinking and eating everything with great appetite. -Pest Control: The cinnamon barrier is still there and working perfectly. Zero gnats, zero problems. It’s the best way to keep the roots clean during the final stage of flowering. 🌿 Flower & Resin Evolution -The sugar is turning into ice! ❄️ Resin is now heavily coating even the smallest leaves, and the buds are fattening up fast. 1/9/2023 - Day 7: did a very light foliar feed with some Pure Protein Dry organic fish fertilizer 15-1-1, fresh aloa, and ThermX-70. Mixed this up for some other plants but figured I'd give the girls a light misting. Other than that I have not done anything else, other than moving the plants back into my 2x4 to veg in here for now. My 4x4 is in my drying room, so temps are lower than I'd like at this stage, so this will be there new home for the next couple weeks. 1/13/2023 - Day 11 veg: All plants are coming along nicely. Cups still have some weight, so I still haven't watered, other than the real light foliar feed the other day. Temps have been about 80° during the day and 70° at night, with humidity holding steady around 85%, which is probably the main reason I haven't had to water. So far so good! 1/14/2023 Day 12: noticed a few fungas gnats flying around, so I sprayed everything down with some Dr. Zymes Eliminator. I'm assuming the gnats came from the Earth Box I recently added to the tent for a few more auto's i started. Sprayed the soil and the leaves, so this was the first watering since the seeds were planted.

Candy is doing good. She was topped today and the first node removed. She will be lst as she reaches out more. Everything is going well. Amazing!. The big plant smells so good Drying day 6: they are still moist! A very good drying session is going on over here. The longer the better! Trimmed today after 10 days. Ended up with 80grams pure buds! Super nice chunky buds smells amazing and 8grams of sift from the leaves. I’ll filter the leaves again with my bubble bags
