This week marked a pivotal shift in our lighting strategy, as we nudged the PPFD values from a modest 250-350 up to an assertive 450-500. This increase is designed to optimize the light intensity during this critical phase of growth, catering to the heightened demands of our flowering beauties. Our nutrient regime has been meticulously fine-tuned to accommodate the changing needs of our Epic Buzz varieties. The switch from Alga Grow to Alga Bloom signifies our plants' transition from vegetative growth to flowering, ensuring they receive the ideal nutrient profile for bud development. This, paired with our steadfast mix of Sugar Royal, Power Roots, and Orca, is dispensed religiously every four days to maintain optimal health and vitality. The controlled conditions within the Tent-X continue to be monitored with precision, keeping the VPD levels within a desirable range, despite occasional deviations due to manual fan adjustments. However, the imminent arrival of the Prima Klima EC fan is set to revolutionize our environmental control, promising seamless day-to-night transitions and a well-deserved retirement for the Mars Hydro fan. She's a very demanding plant. In addition to these listed nutrients I'm also using an organic mixture as well at full strength and she seemingly wants more lol. Very interesting plant indeed. Her buds are becoming dense and look more advanced than what usual week 4 flower looks like so she will most likely finish in maybe 7-8 weeks I assume. Very nice smell and resin production. Temperatures are very much different than usual here in the caribbean. Nights stay cool and day temps have soared for the month. Damn global warming!!!!!!!!!! On a positive note she's still doing well with no signs of heat stress and by next week I expect even more rapid production as she approaches the end of mid bloom. Onto her second round of flushing now, be down by Tuesday I think. Done better than I though she would give my the training, she said tiny and I wont get much off her at all but it's all good I just wanted to Get that structure with the mainline and further topping. Took it pretty well I think. Smells amazing by the way and go to one that real nice colouring 👌🏻 Buds aren't really compact or anything and there's a load o fox tailing but again it's all good 😁 Next entry will be the harvest

Still in the HPS tent but now they are under the LED again and doing pretty well as the roots are filling the pots out they are eating faster. Did a couple foliar feeds with the Growzyme at less than 1 ML/Gal which they seem to like. Hoping to get a little more vertical growth before they kick into flower. Also been doing some bottom feeding which I have been experimenting with a little bit. It seems to increase rate of growth and the plants seem a little happier when I do a few feeds like that in a row. God damn I love this genetic. She's flopping over from all the weight she's producing. I'm keeping her upright though. Trying to keep the humidity down with how thick she's getting. She's still in the bulk phase and is throwing pistils and packing weight like crazy. Each day I'm having to try and tie her up in some way or another. I should've used a scrog net after the first time, I knew that she flopped over hard like this after the first time I grew her. Using the earthbox is making everything super easy. Do you think her leafs are getting fatter? how thick are they though, seriously ?? so thick ! that's that 100% indica i guess, really striking to see her asleep with those fat leafs isnt it? tried out the obscurity to try and get some nice in, hope you find them nice ! i really like that dramatic effect with the lighting and the shadow but to be honest i'm not the most talented photographer so i dont really know if it's working for you or not, so let me know ! she's growing as expected basically, squat, short, thick, doesnt really need that much attention, so far these genetics are an absolute pleasure to grow ! Raised the lights to the normal height, reduced the light schedule to 13/11, fed with some biocanna i had on hand, added some specialized flower micro : that's mag sulfur and cal mag , hopefully this will make the end product more pungent and more potent. let's see some flowers amirite?

Week 4 – Flowering (Day 22–28) 🌸🌱 At the end of Week 3 (Day 21) we carried out a deeper round of defoliation and some lollipopping. By now the stretch is coming to an end, with the plants settling close to their final height. We’ve also stopped foliar feeding, since every single plant is now covered in developing buds. To keep everything protected, we refreshed the beneficial insects, better be safe than sorry, how we say in German, sicher ist sicher. Already in this early stage of flowering, we can clearly spot differences in structure, bud formation and even the first aromas. Some phenos are showing exceptional promise — those will be the ones we’ll highlight more in the coming updates. 🔎 Pheno notes so far: SD1-1 – balanced structure, even bud distribution. SD1-33 – tall central cola with healthy branching. SD2-13 – compact structure, promising stacking. Will update smoke report once buds have cured and fermented long enough to where I say they are ready for a legit test. So far I can tell you that this is the most pineapple, tangerine smelling cultivar I have ever come across. I've always heard of the pineapple weed but this is identical to the tropical fruit. This crop also is the fastest flowering crop I have grown in sometime. Harvest in 50 days from flipping into flower. Had some stretching going on with some golf ball / Coney type flowers covered in resin. I am looking forward to smoking on these tropical / citrus flowers.
