Hi, thank your for visiting my diary, more info on my setup, soil and situation in: Germination... So been doin the whole Sherlock thing with the magnifier and nope.... no trichomes amber yet.... My magnifier is just not strong enough and apparently my eyesight is bollocks or my arms are too short... On the images ( I also have onset parkinsons as it seems, thus I used a tripod and low and behold: a stillshot) the trichomes are visible. Now I have the problem that I have to go for a week in a week. Im not leaving all on (mainly no control over smell and some distrust in my own handywork compiling these lights) when Im gone. So these ladies have to hurry up now. The other problem is the cure... I have no way to monitor temps and RH when Im away so Im gonna have to find a sitter for my babies or just cut them preprime or they magically make amber overnight.... I hoped, since they were racing to the finish, that I would be in time.... So maybe we pack an extra tent for our vacation... My growtent... I have been flushing for two weeks, still the leaves and plants are vigorous and lively. Some yellowing pointy bits but too minimal.... Temsp outdoor have been higher but stable, temps in the tent never over 26.8 degrees. Humidity has been dropping last days which I hoped for. Anyone any experience with building a climate chamber for curing? Or any on the market that will do? Please check my Zambeza 3 seed give away by guessing my final result! As an update: I took some tiny larf of a couple of days ago and totally forgot about it. Today out of weed, I found the dried remains in the jar I put it in and left it. No temp, no cue, no rh anything. So I get it out of the jar to find it smelling like weed, not even hay or grass but pungeant stinky weed. I start to crumble and find it is sticky, solid, and crumbles to nice bits that crumble even further. I light up and an amazing sweet and citrussy smell comes free, it is superstrong, although still more high obviously, and supertasty, without any cure. This promises even more for the rest of the bunch. This was some underside sad yellowish larf,not any density to it but smoked ten times better than my local, round the corner dispensary weed that I smoked later that day. Even Sunshine (my partner) was amazed with difference in smell. Update 24th july: I finally saw ambers yesterday and the fact me running out of time, made me decide to start the 48 hours of darkness. Tomorrow she/they will be cut down for drying and curing. I have a humidifier and can manage temps to be a bit colder to prolong first dry as long as possible. Coming friday I have to decide what to do: keep them hanging for a full week, whilst Im gone. Or start the jarcure if drying (since its very hot and dry here lately, this might be the case) is faster. I would have loved to give these ladies another week maybe two... They were still so healthy. But I cant control anything when Im not here and this could potentially destroy my harvest or get very smelly, this leaves me no choice for now... The trichs are now at +/- 15% to 20% rest is all milky with just some single clears on less developped lower buds... I allread know she is nice tasting and potent enough. As soon as we are at the final weight I will post the harvest and we choose the winner! Another update: closer inspection revealed that the plants a/ had still lot of underside larf and b/ lots of clear trichomes. As we are near the finish I rather give them another week of light. So Ive bent all the big buds downwards to protect them from the light. I might not be able to correct the cure, but its a shame not give them another week if I can. Some will be horrified with the damage but my reasoning is simple, the big buds are done or almost, the larf still can develop into bigger buds so a late harvest supercrop and lowered the lights to 35 cm for the final push. In the harvest video we will show you the way we made the comfrey tea and where I keep it, our permagarden, introduce myself and maybe even Sunshine, the light of my life, introduces herself. Removed the 2 Xs 1500's (300watts) & replaced them with 2 P1000 (200watts) lights, now running 680 watts. These lights fit in better & have air space all around to help cool them, these lights run a lot cooler than the xs 1500s & only get warm not hot. Started some clones.

2-3 more days till harvest... some flowers need a little extra time. trichomes are 40% -50% amber. 6/19 17 weeks, baby it's about to be harvested, how she looks?... i just put this plant inside my room with the AC ON. THE SMELL MAKES ME SMOKE WEED TILL SUNSET , VERY VERY SWEET 😲

What’s good, fam? Zuppler comin’ through with that week 2 veg update, straight from the capital. The ladies startin’ to really take off now – roots stretchin’ out like they ownin’ the whole crib. We keepin’ it real clean with that RO water, pure as the ocean, ya feel me? Advanced Nutrients been feedin’ these queens like they on some luxury diet, and it’s showin’. Leaves lookin’ lush, no deficiencies in sight, and them stalks startin’ to thicken up like they preppin’ for the fight ahead. Ain’t no stalling in this grow, everything on the up. I’m keepin' the environment steady – temps and humidity locked in tight, like I’m runnin’ a ship with no leaks. We just cruisin’ through, lettin’ the ladies do their thing, no stress. Que pasa familia, finalizamos segunda semana de floración, no veas que color y que vigor, están muy sanas, se agradece la luz del LED. Controlamos ph 6,5 temperatura y humedad dentro de los parámetros correctos. Añadimos bud candy para ir aportando a las flores los nutrientes necesarios para una mejor formación y sabor. Por lo demás nada nuevo, todo va bien, entre riego y riego son 72h lo que pasan , en vez de 48h como pasa con el sodio. También se agradece en ese aspecto. Un saludo fumetillas y muy buenos humos 💨

I noticed yellowing of the lower leaves a few days back and was kind of confused because in the past my PPM was fine for "small plants/seedlings". At this size there should have been no problems. What I did not account for was the underground root zone I was growing this time because of the "RAW" beneficial spores and bacteria powder I added. Pleasantly surprised when I transplanted to 3gal pots from the red solo starter cups to see such a packed root zone!!!! I powdered the roots with Advanced Nutrients Tarantula and stuck them into the final home base of ProMix HP mixed with around 25%Perlite for added lightness in 3gallon pots. I prefer a dryer mix and can water more often when needed. Its easy to take care of such a small grow room when it comes to watering/feeding so the light soil works well for me and is a bonus at flushing time. Other than the little yellowing of lower baby leaf, the plants are very stout and study. The main stalks are quite thick for such small plants. I had 6inch fans blowing on them since the 2nd weeks so Im sure that helped. Video added and 2 pics

Growth, growth, growth…. They are vegging out now! Definitely seeing the size of my tent getting smaller and smaller this week. Getting ready to bloom soon! I do have to note … the funny guys on the side are from a failed attempt earlier grow this year. We def weren’t ready for them… they got cold, the soil wasn’t right. I got all of that right finally but they instantly went into bloom and def weren’t ready. Oh well!

A couple of the girls have got some leaf deformities but roots and growth are stable. My WW girls are doing the best. Outside temperature has dropped today and probably moving fwd. It will help keep from and rez cooler. 2 weeks Frome germination.

Great week, no problems, ready to harvest. I have a few others going that stretched a lot so careful if in a small space. This one is a nice size,great structure lots of buds .

Since 1 of the Tropicana Cookies seedlings died earlier on in veg, it left a spot in veg set up. Due to temperature rising each day as we approach the start of summer, water temperature in Dwc constantly rising to around 25/26 degrees Celsius. Adding & changing out frozen water bottles 3 times a day! Unfortunately still rising over the course of the day. As much as Dwc growing interest's me it's just not pheasable to grow in summer with out a water chiller!!! Risk of root rot is extremely high. Lost a few plants to root rot last year in summer & it seems that the White Widow Auto had started getting a bit of root rot, even adding frozen bottles didn't help. Needed to get her out of Dwc before it got any worse. Since I lost a seedling earlier, I've decided to take her out of Dwc & plant her into the now vacant pot, that's hooked up to a top feed recirculating hydro system. Ever since transfering her she has thrived. Changed light hours for her from 24hrs on to 20 hrs on 4 off. Started to show pistills on day 35/ last day of week 5 veg!

Una ves sean transplantadas a su macetero definitivo(5 litros) se comenzará con riego automático, drip to waste, y protocolo Crop Steering. 20 Octubre(15:30): 9 semillas en remojo, solución de 2 partes de agua de ósmosis + 1 parte de peróxido de hidrógeno 3%, 5.8pH, 0.6EC, 28°C~30°C. Antes ser puestas a remojar se lijaron las semillas para favorecer la absorción del agua. 21:30: puestas en toalla de papel con la misma agua de remojo, dentro de un contenedor de vidrio hermético y sobre una alfombra de calor a 28°C~30°C, para aumentar la actividad metabólica. 21 Octubre: Pre carga del coco, con solución de nutrientes Athena en 2.0EC y 5.7pH, saturación hasta lograr drenaje, el drenaje fue de 1.5EC y 5.6pH. 21:50: Todas las semillas presentan radicula de distintos tamaños(1cm aprox) son inmediatamente pasadas al sustrato. 22 Octubre: 21:10, se aprecian todas ya brotando, se mantiene el ambiente en 26°C~28°C y 70%+ de humedad. 23 Octubre: 9/9 semillas brotadas, se ven algunos Cotiledones. 24 Octubre: (9:30)8/9 cotiledones abiertos, altura entre 3cm~5cm, etapa de plantula iniciada. Toffee n3 se atrofió por mala manipulación, espero que crezca aunque sea lento, si no, tendré que seguir solo con 8 plantas. 25 Octubre: Toffee n3 está viva!!! Estuve a punto de quitarla, y está mañana apareció sin su capucha, cotiledones afuera. Yujuuuu!! 26 Octubre: hoy tuvieron su primer riego con nutrientes Athena, 2.0EC y 5.8pH. Se regó hasta alcanzar drenaje, el drenaje fue de 1.9EC y 5.7pH. 27 Octubre: Se desarrollan a buen ritmo, algunas han estirado más que otras, alturas entre 4cm~7cm. 31 Octubre: Segundo riego, 120ml casa una, 2.0EC y 5.8pH, runoff de 2.3EC y 5.7pH. 2 Noviembre: Creciendo a buen ritmo, alturas entre 5cm y 9cm. 4 Noviembre: Riego 180ml cada una, 2.0EC y 5.8pH, runoff 2.8EC y 5.8pH, desde ahora se regarán más seguido, removí las primeras hojas, solo por comodidad para regar, de igual manera los primeros nodos y esas hojas se terminan podando pronto. 8 Noviembre: Riego 2.0EC, 5.8pH, 240ml cada una para aumentar el runoff, valores de runoff de 3.0EC y 6.0pH. Alturas entre 9cm y 14cm.
