Contrary to common belief, having a higher number of mycorrhizae species in a product does not translate to better results; in fact, it often yields the opposite outcome. A plant can sustain only one association with a particular mycorrhizal fungi species. Introducing multiple species creates competition among them, which is not advantageous for the plant. The initial colonizer does not ensure the highest success; instead, it gains precedence. It is recommended to select a product with a concentrated presence of a single mycorrhizae species known for its effective performance, rather than opting for a product with multiple species at lower concentrations. MYTH #2 ECTOMYCORRHIZAE ARE EFFECTIVE FOR CANNABIS PLANTS. Although ectomycorrhizae can colonize five to ten percent of plant species, cannabis is not among them. Ectomycorrhizae do not penetrate the root cells; instead, they develop around the roots and on the exterior. For cannabis plants, it is essential to seek out endomycorrhizae. Endomycorrhizae are capable of colonizing 70% to 90% of plant species, including cannabis. Unlike ectomycorrhizae, endomycorrhizae penetrate the root cells, forming structures like arbuscules for the exchange of nutrients and water with the plant. MYTH #3 WHOLE INOCULANT (PROPAGULES) PERFORM BETTER THAN ONLY VIABLE SPORES. The propagule count specified on most mycorrhizae products indicates the presence of spores (viable and unviable), hyphae, and root fragments. However, it is crucial to note that only viable spores, those with the capacity to germinate, can successfully colonize a plant’s root system. Spores are to mycorrhizal fungi what seeds are to cannabis plants—a fundamental component enabling fungi reproduction. Consequently, even if a mycorrhizal product boasts millions of propagules, its effectiveness hinges on the presence of viable spores. Without viable spores, the product will not contribute to plant development. Therefore, the genuine value of a mycorrhizal inoculant lies in the quantity of viable spores it contains, as only viable spores can efficiently initiate symbiosis. MYTH #4 ALL METHODS OF APPLICATION YIELD IDENTICAL RESULTS. To establish the symbiosis, mycorrhizal fungi spores must be close to the plant roots. The optimal recommendation is to directly apply mycorrhizal inoculant to the roots, either in powder, granular or slurry form. This method ensures maximum proximity between the spores and the roots, facilitating a rapid establishment of symbiosis. Particularly with crops like cannabis, which have a short growing cycle, employing this technique is the most effective way to obtain optimal benefits. Alternatively, techniques such as blending the inoculant with the soil are effective, but there may be a delay in the establishment of symbiosis. This is because the roots need to grow and come into contact with the dispersed spores throughout the growing media. MYTH #5 MYCORRHIZAE CAN ONLY BE GROWN ON LIVING PLANTS. While the predominant method for commercially producing mycorrhizae involves growing them on the root systems of living plants (in vivo production), it is not the exclusive nor the optimal technique. In fact, this production approach has notable drawbacks that the “root organ culture” method just does not have (in vitro production). In vitro production occurs in meticulously controlled, aseptic laboratory conditions, allowing for the consistent generation of products that are viable, highly concentrated, species-specific, and free from pathogens. Achieving such precision and quality is impossible when relying on the cultivation of mycorrhizal fungi on plants exposed to external conditions. In conclusion, it is crucial to take all these factors into consideration when choosing the appropriate product for your crop to fully harness the wide array of benefits provided by a high-quality mycorrhizal product. STRONGER PLANT – Stress resistance. FASTER GROWTH – Improve plant structure and shorter veg time. INCREASE YIELD – Overall more biomass. IMPROVED QUALITY – Increase cannabinoids and terpenes content.

Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)

Der Wetterbericht sagte niedrige Temperaturen um nur noch 5° C. Tagestemperatur voraus mit täglichem Dauernebel, deshalb entschied ich mich für die Ernte. Die Lady in der Growbox hatte sich noch im Folienzelt Schimmel in einer Blattachsel eingefangen, der gesamte Zweig war am vertrocknen, deshalb wurde sie auch geerntet. Outdoor Growing ist und bleibt ein "run with mother nature across seasons", wir können nicht alle Faktoren bestimmen. Das ist ein Nachteil aber auch eine Herausforderung, die ich jedes Jahr gerne annehme, seien es Tomaten, Paprika, Artischocken oder Borlotti-Bohnen im Freiland. Die erzielten Ergebnisse kann ich nun bis zur nächsten Saison geniessen. Nach der Saison ist allerdings vor der Saison, viel Saatgut ist angefallen ud neue Sorten müssen ausgewählt werden. La tenda (4x4) è in fioritura da circa 2 settimane e la SF2000 lavora a pieno regime riuscendo a coprire bene e in maniera efficace praticamente ovunque, ho trasferito la Purple OG Punch di SSSC che è l’unica autofiorente e mi stava crescendo troppo in altezza per stare nell altro box e quindi aggiungerò lei in questo diario!😄💥🎬💚 Tutte le Gorilla 🦍 sia di Zamnesia che di RQS sono state defogliate nelle foglie più gialle e con carenze, le 3 piante di Seeds Mafia invece continuano così cercando di recuperare le altre in altezza…ora le Gorilla 🦍 sono tutte a 1.800 EC mentre le 3 di SM sono a 1.600 EC, la PPOG è a 1500 EC. Ci vediamo presto con altri aggiornamenti e grazie di essere passato! Grazie Spider Farmer ancora per questo LED SF2000, questo nuovo modello fa veramente la differenza e le piante crescono in maniera ottimale!!! 💯🙌🌱

Woche 3 (4seit Keimung) – Vegetationsphase startet richtig durch Die Mädels sind jetzt offiziell in Woche 4 angekommen und man merkt deutlich, dass sie langsam in die nächste Phase gehen. Das Wachstum hat in den letzten Tagen nochmal spürbar angezogen und die Struktur wird von Tag zu Tag stabiler. Alle Pflanzen stehen aktuell in 15L Töpfen und entwickeln sich insgesamt sehr gleichmäßig, auch wenn man langsam erste Unterschiede zwischen den Strains erkennt. ⸻ Pflanzenentwicklung Die meisten Pflanzen zeigen jetzt eine schöne, kompakte Struktur mit kurzen Internodien und kräftigen Stämmen. Besonders die GMO bleibt schön gedrungen, während z. B. Blueberry und teilweise Runtz etwas mehr nach oben wollen. Die Blätter sind satt grün und vital, das neue Wachstum ist teilweise etwas heller, was aber bei dem Tempo absolut normal ist. Insgesamt wirken alle Pflanzen gesund und stressfrei. ⸻ Licht & Setup Die Lampe wird weiterhin schrittweise erhöht (aktuell moderat gefahren), was sich positiv auf den Wuchs auswirkt. Kein Stretch, keine Anzeichen von Lichtstress – genau so soll’s sein. Momentan steht die SF3000 bei 50% Leistung mit einem Abstand von 45-50cm. Der Abstand passt aktuell gut, ich werde die Intensität weiterhin in kleinen Schritten steigern. ⸻ Klima Die Bedingungen sind aktuell ziemlich stabil: • Temperatur: ~20–23°C • Luftfeuchtigkeit: ~60–65% • VPD: ~0.9 kPa Damit liege ich ziemlich genau im optimalen Bereich für die Vegi. ⸻ Gießen Gegossen wird weiterhin kontrolliert im äußeren Ring, um die Wurzeln nach außen zu ziehen. Die Bodenfeuchte liegt aktuell bei ~34%, was sich als sehr guter Wert herausgestellt hat. Man merkt jetzt schon, dass der Wasserverbrauch langsam anzieht. Liege jetzt bei 500ml jeden 3. Tag. ⸻ Nährstoffe Aktuell läuft noch alles über die vorgedüngte Erde. Da jetzt Woche 4 gestartet ist, werde ich in den nächsten Tagen anfangen, den Green House Bio Bloom vorsichtig einzuarbeiten, damit die Nährstoffe rechtzeitig verfügbar sind, wenn die Vorblüte einsetzt. ⸻ Ausblick In den nächsten Tagen wird sich entscheiden, wie stark ich eingreife. Leichtes LST ist geplant – vor allem bei den etwas streckfreudigeren Pflanzen, um ein gleichmäßiges Canopy zu bekommen. Ansonsten gilt weiterhin: beobachten, reagieren, nicht übertreiben. ⸻ Fazit Ich bin aktuell echt zufrieden mit dem Stand. Die Pflanzen sehen gesund aus, das Setup läuft stabil und alles entwickelt sich genau in die Richtung, die ich mir vorgestellt habe. Vielen Dank fürs reinschauen meine growmis, Updates folgen 🏻

SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY TRANSPLANT #3 THIS WEEK!!!! Big week, did the last transplant of the grow before she enters flower. I decided to skip out on the 3gal and upgraded to a 4.97 or 5gal container. The plastic is cheep and looks like it was going to break but its all the grow store had in stock at the time. Was talking to them about going from a 2gal to 3gal and how it did not do much for the plant but stress it out. They also gave me a free sample of a bokashi fertilizer, I divided that in between the two plants. It looks identical to the regular non fertilizer branded bokashi, and I feel its the same but with a mist of NPK on it or something. Plants are doing well, Dynomyco had a slighter bigger root ball upon transplant and the plant its self is a tiny bit more robust. Given all the other soil boosters and microorganisms I have added into this, I don't feel I will see the true potential of just Dynomyco vs soil nothing else added. I just can't not add the others as it feel like a massive step backwards and end of day a big healthy plant is worth it. This diary may not have massive contrast in favour of Dynomyco but I will still use it none the less and I think its helps plus its not over just yet. Would love to hear what y'all think about this, hit me up in the comments and I'd try and get back to yea as fast as I can. I like how the dead Blue Cindy plant looks like a biophage, sifi like alien thing. Growth is super, despite having splitting and getting a break where I topped due to something falling on the plant. I quickly patched her up with some electrical tape and a cable tie and she recovered within a day! Super resilient plant. She's starting to smell and putting out a few pistils already at the end of week 1 flower!

Super flot uger igen og har lige været kommet hjem fra ferie igen.. Men jeg har ikke mere ferie nu, så nu kan jeg forkusere 110 procent på. Min små børn. Og jeg får ny lampe i morgen engang. Håber i andre har det godt og god konkurrence til alle jer der deltager.

The ladies are coming along very nice. I had to defoiliate them once cause they blew up and I needed the lower branches to get the light. Now it's time to start training these girls. Some but not all will be trained. I'm so pleased with the outcome so far. The banana blaze is super easy to grow as well as the Colorado Cookies. They are on their stretch mode now. Let's see what next brings me. 🌿💚🍌🍪💭

###I prepared the girl to spend it in bloom, put into her new 15-liter pot last week. as for the other two girls, they are at the beginning of the 3 weeks of flowering. ###also put the fourth girl in the final bucket, I'll wait about two weeks to pass it in bloom.

Ehi ragazzi scusate il ritardo di un giorno ma ho avuto problemi di famiglia. . Apparte questo la ragazza ha avuto problemi pure lei in quanto io stupidamente mi sono dimenticato per due settimane di somministrare "top Candy" il quale naturalmente era incluso nella scheda nutrizionale , ma io nn ci ho fatto caso e la piantai è andata in carenza Cal/Mag impressionante perché la sua genetica di crescita così esplosiva richiede , a quanto pare , grandi quantità di calcio e magnesio per costruire tutte le pareti cellulari di quel mostro di pianta che sta diventando... Poi nn è finita lì perché io ho sbagliato di nuovo dando il top Candy insieme a tutti gli altri più volte quando ho bagnato e mi è andata di conseguenza in overfert almeno per 3 o 4 giorni se non di più, quindi i tipici segnali che la pianta non cresce come prima etc... Allora cosa faccio?!! Chiedo consiglio ad amici e faccio un lavaggio veloce radici leggero e poi ho aspettato , ora ho iniziato di nuovo nutrienti , con basse dosi, e sembra che stia reiniziando a crescere .. mi dispiace 😞 solo che questo tempo perso di sicuro influirà sul risultato finale e sono triste ... Perché sono errori banali da principianti che hanno fretta o hanno a cui pensare e invece per queste ragazze ci vuole massima dedizione e nessuna distrazione! 😼. Apparte questo la pianta ha reiniziato a crecsere e ha un bellissimo colore viola intenso! È la prima volta nella mia vita che vedo una purple dal vivo ci credete? 🙂🐱😹 Come sempre ringrazio Mars hydro che sta rendendo possibile la crescita di questo mostro e di tutte le altre sorelle che vi farò vedere prossimamente ! Oct 5-11 Vegetative steering? Aiming for: leaf Temp -80f CO2 -1250ppm VPD +1.04 (65%/75F) Vegetative Steering 6P1/ 2P2/1P3 Each P1 water event is 15 minutes apart. Seems to far apart. I think i Need More water events, with less time in between events in order to get a strong veg signal? Watering for 2min(110)ml May need 3min waterings(currently not getting runoff) I have to hand water every two days. Day 11 flo 18.5inches tall 12inches from light(moved to 16) 1300ppm Day 18 Defol Sprout chickpea(2days) Soaked 1cup for 4 hours then rinsed. Completely covered then Soaked overnight. Rinsed then poured water out and layed jar on the side for one day. Blended with water(aloe vera and coconut) Day 19&20 foilarspray Alfalfa/Chickpea SST with Kelp,aloe,coconut,silicate,microbes brewed for 1.5 days Day 21 Fed the Tea blend Leaf temp 80 65kluxx Co2 100 Plants look like they responded well to the foilar. The flowers at this stage are my best performance yet .crop steering may be working?

Flowering Day 63 As I mentioned last week, I have to harvest today because I'm going on vacation for a week tomorrow, and I don't want the rest of the buds to start molding. I had to cut off about five thick buds within a week. I didn't find any more moldy buds when harvesting. The flowers of the three phenos looking beautiful and all different. I'm curious to see how they smell after drying. At the moment, they smell very pine and floral. Update and conclusion follow soon.
