FERMAKOR BARREL MIX – BASE IN USE (Testing on the Fantasy Feast girl we pulled out of another diary https://growdiaries.com/diaries/274722-grow-journal-by-yan402 ) (FERMAKOR BASE SYSTEM KOH VERSION diary https://growdiaries.com/diaries/278391-grow-journal-by-yan402) (Urea & Micros on the way — first week running without them) 🍶💧🍶💧🍶💧🍶💧🍶 💧 30 L Barrel – Current Working Mix 🍶💧🍶💧🍶💧🍶💧🍶 Step 1 – Calcium Nitrate (Part A) 7 L warm water (~35–40 °C) → added 45 g Calcinit, stirred until fully clear. That’s the calcium + nitrogen backbone for the feed. Step 2 – FERMAKOR PK Base (Part B) 15 L water in the main barrel → added 30 ml FERMAKOR PK Concentrate, mixed well. This forms the main P + K part of the formula. Step 3 – Combine Solutions Slowly poured the Calcinit mix into the barrel while stirring — no reaction, still crystal clear. That confirms the mix is stable and precipitation-free. 🌿 Step 4 – FPJ / FFJ Batch Added 30 ml homemade FPJ (fish + veg batch) ≈ 1 ml/L. Color shifted to a light-amber tone — looks alive and active. 🍋 Step 5 – Citric Acid Balance Added 1 tsp citric acid after everything was blended to fine-tune pH and help chelate micros later on. 📦 Step 6 – Top Up & Check Filled to the 30 L mark with plain water → pH tested with drops, showing yellow-green — roughly 5.8 – 6.0 range. Nice clean look, stable smell, no residue. 🧠 Current Status First day feeding the Fantasy Feast girl with this base mix. Too early to tell how she’ll react, but so far everything looks clean and balanced. Ca + N from Calcinit and P + K from FERMAKOR should be plenty for a gentle start. Citric + FPJ round it off nicely. Diese Woche war ein Berg ab und Berg auf! Nachdem die Ladies nach dem entlauben ohne Befeuchter stellenweise auf eine RLF von unter 30 % gefallen sind habe ich den Befeuchter wieder im Zelt installiert! Nun sind es in Tag und Nachtphase 40-45 % also perfekt. Am Tag 41 die Leistung der HID Lampe auf 600 Watt erhöht. In dieser Woche die Pflanzen mit einem pH von 5,8 und ec von 1,1 gespült. Die Temperatur ist konstant gut. Die Pflanzen wurden ebenfalls zum denke ich letzten Mal stark entlaubt um Licht an die Buds zu lassen. Von der Größe der buds stehen sie der x haze etwas nach,, Ich bin aber zufrieden. Es fängt an gut zu riechen 😁 bis nächste Woche ✌️🏾

Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been much change this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plants. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more light penetration. Then finally switched to 12/12.. After just 36 hours after the defoliation there wasn't much change Some new growth..the colas are stacking nicely which is good. Hope they stretch some more still.. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how they flower. Stay safe!

Day 29 - She's bushed out to the fullest. This is a controversial, but I think essential part of growing. Trust me, what i had removed would have been a waste. I gave all sites there chance to achieve my desired height. Those that didnt, got the chop. Day 30 - Now that is a recovery! I will now focus on maintaining an even canopy. I will only pull down part of the plant that stretch faster. Day 31 - Wettable sulfur and Cali Carb before bud production fully sets in. Wettable sulfur will help with some pest management, not that I have any, powdery mildew, also not an issue, and increases terpene production. Cal Carb is a perfect pair for this as its a readily available source of calcium and carbon dioxide. Calcium seems to be a common deficiency in flower, and the plant loves CO2 during flower. This seems like a no brainer! She also got a nice feeding with some top dresses and water soluble nutrients. Loving the evidental daily changes this plant can produce! Day 32 - Continuing to pull branches down and move leaves for some of these lower sites. Can't help but to have the song, 'Let It Grow', from the Lorax, run through my head everytime I try to move leaves to help these lower sites get light, lol. Day 33 - Opening up as much as I can and tried to keep it all above the net. Vigorous rapid growth in both the plant and cover crop. Day 34 - Showing what it looks like before I take each days pic with the leaves tucked already. Getting hard to keep these leaves down! There's a few lowers I'll likely be snipping to help focus energy to better sites. Day 35 - Let's just take a moment and enjoy these beautiful flowers this amazing Common Buckwheat cover crop is showing off. If you dont know what Common Buckwheat does when growing in your soil, it helps gather phosphorus, attract beneficials, and can be cut down to make compost. Is this even the same plant from the beginning of this week!? Can't wait to see these buds start to stack!

day 14 added 1/2tbsp magnesium sulfate in 5gal water along with regular flower water amendments. 1gal of water per day average, bridal and thunder can take more water. Ph 6.8 today day 15 I will defoliate in a few days :) day 15 video, you see some stem action day 16 video day 17 I added (4x20w daisy-chained)80w of poop purple ancient leds Keep adding soluble PK, organic booster etc. I see the stacks relax on defoliation for a few days, maybe tomorrow morning (skip day21) I feel like I will be able to chop week 6-7 as my last grow, push hard fast-continue everything is great, soon bridal and thunder will require 1gal water per day. I would like to see even more mass. I'm extremely happy, starting to see frost day18. BIG UPDATE many short vids of final defoliation(ahead of "day 21"). Wild amendments appeared! Any recommendations for a lawnmower? Bridalparty stretched over an inch overnight, led touch diode burn on 1 spot. Raised lights slightly, Added new amendments into water. Bridal wants to drink more than 1gal per day, So I will be using almost 5gal-ish water per day not denying the plant needs-watering. I am very happy! defoliation took about 4h today.

It’s really starting to look like a grown-up now. I think three more weeks should do it. I’ve been doing some very light defoliation, but other than that, I’m just left it alone. The smell is delicious, very evergreen. I love my Tray2Grow. Adding the calcium and magnesium seems to have lessened the yellowing at the tips, but I still have it. I’m not sure what else it can be, I’m already giving it more than the normal dose of calmag. PH is spot on, vpd is 1.

Day 82 - 12/12/19 So harvest is here and what a journey this has been :) This plant took much longer than the others but paid off at the end with huge colas! Wet weigh was around 400g so im expecting about 60g from this once dried :) Has a slight fruity/spicy taste to it. i wont be able to honestly tell until fully dried and cured though :) Big thanks to RQS for thier amazing genetics and a big thanks to all who helped out along the way! Il update the dry weight when dried and the bud report all throughout curing :) Day 85 - 16/12/19 All buds have been dried and damn it really filled up this 68g jar! i got 64g dry weight of prime buds probably another 10g of popcorn buds that i threw in with the trim. coming into heavy flowering i expected an ounce, after i started adding calmag and pk13/14 the buds exploded. and my expectations raised to about 45g. for it to be 64g at harvest from a 43cm tall plant thats something. A few experienced growers reckoned the high yield was because of polyploidy which i believe is a genetic mutation. i looked it up and i cant say if this is what happened or not. The bud has been dried fully and slower than last time, ive tried to have airflow somewhat around the buds but not too close to avoid drying too quick. Ive only been curing for a day but its so smooth already. ive never tried anything like lowryder which is the makeup of this strain so il have to honestly rate it once cured for a week or so :) but until then i will say its been getting me quite stoned and couchlocked. i definitely harvested near the end of the harvest window. il add a final update once cured for a week so u guys know what this strain is like as a final product. Day 89 - 19/12/19 Ive cured for around a week and ive been smoking the buds and watching christmas movies alot! :'D The curing has developed a nice hit on the throat and more flavour along with burning better in joints and bongs :) ive smoked some exotic strains but i honestly feel this is among the best grown smoke ive had. it just feels so well grown with a smooth burn! i definitely harvested on the later side of the harvest window as buds have mostly amber pistils and smoking them gets me pretty stoned and sleepy! this is great as i have trouble sleeping and relaxing. i havent had this much sleep in a while. while i would say this is fairly average bud i still would rate it a solid 7, sure it might not have a strong exotic smell or flavour but it gets the job done well! and the high yield really impressed me. considering i need to be growing enough to stay medicated the 64g dry weight really made my day! Its very relaxing to know you dont have to struggle to get your medicine! I added a few photos of the best buds in the jar and im really impressed with myself for growing some fat buds! Hey everyone! Hope you're all doing amazing! TickTockCroc is back for another grow! ┏(＾0＾)┛ Last time, I did a Fastbuds Girl Scout Cookies grow in my closet using a small pot. Yielded 22g dry weight (lol). Didn't do any ph monitoring or temperature control until later. This time... I'm determined to do it better! For this grow I will be doing: 2 x Fastbuds Girl Scout Cookies 2 x Fastbuds Gelato I AM DOING A SEPARATE DIARY FOR EACH STRAIN. THIS DIARY WILL ONLY BE UPDATING PROGRESS WITH THE GIRL SCOUT COOKIES! For this set-up, I decided to get a 1.2m x 1.2m x 2.0m tent and a carbon filter with fan. Also using fabric pots instead of plastic. For lights I'm using my old 600W Viper LED. I love this set-up!! This diary is starting on Day 7 from seed for the GSC. They just got moved to the tent yesterday (had to wait for it in the mail, got excited and germinated seeds too soon lol) and so they were in the closet until then. There has been no fan to circulate air or remove heat, and I think that's why the first set of leaves are curling a bit. Annoyingly, I have to wait for distilled water to arrive in the mail so I can calibrate my PH meter, so have not been able to ph adjust water. It has had one watering of evian water so far, so hopefully thats OK. I am using BioBizz Light Mix soil and using BioBizz nutrients. I will update which specific nutrients when I can. Take care for now, folks! *EDIT* DAY 10 UPDATE: I've uploaded a day 10 video update! So today is day 10 and I fed them their first feed yesterday. I've added the nutrient details to the diary. They seem to be LOVING it. I also noticed some pale spots on some leaves - perhaps exterior nute burn as I splashed the leaves by accident. We'll see.

There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... I had a pretty stressfull week. Same as my Lady. Trained her every day with LST. I think she looks beatiful and I am pretty happy with her.

All 3 apple strudle popped up and looking good and healthy. May need to add support soon to the stem if they get any taller , lowered the light to help this also. I have now moved the seedlings into a 3x3 tent with a 650w philzon LED light Just until late veg early flower then they are going back under the Spider Farmer for the Full MOT and Output lol Humidity has been easy to deal with luckily . I have been spraying around the solo cups and near the stem with plain water to keep it moist and Humid. Seem to be loving it so far 👌 Next step is wait til these are reaching edge of solo cup and transplant into bigger pots. Germination was a success 🙌 Party time now ❤️👌

3/29 - flush day. I'm not sure if I should keep this one going or if I should plan to harvest at the end of this week...she doesn't have much amber, maybe 1%. Lots of cloudy and some clear. I'm tempted to let her run until Runtz is ready but I think I might have a week discrepancy between the two. 2L distilled water 5.9pH 69.5 *F 3/31 - feeding, getting close to finished I think. I'm going to try to harvest at mostly milky 3L distilled water 6.0pH 70*F 475ppm Bloom 2.99g Kelp 0.67g Yucca 0.9g Cane Molasses 1.5g Amino Acids 1.05g Enzymes 0.28g Real Grows Recharge 0.2g 4/3 - feeding day. Terps are still 30-40% clear with very little amber so I'm going to let her run some more. First time giving Terpinator so I'm curious if that will make any sort of difference this late in the game. 2L distilled water 6.0pH 71*F 110ppm RAW Cane Molasses 0.71g Terpinator 25ml (too much...oops) Great White 1.04g Real Grows Recharge 0.11g

Branches are completely full of buds, some are probably featherweight but I didn't really got the chance to do any mainlining on this one because of how weird she grew
