Hello Diary, Cherry Pie has entered the flowering phase, the plant has started to form flowers 28 days after the start of the vegetation. Cherry Pie has continued its rapid growth, this week more than 20 cm and is now 60 cm tall. The stem has lengthened with its tip and now dominates the other branches. The leaves are a healthy green color and show no signs that the plant is missing anything. Summer temperatures are slowly falling, nothing significant, but every degree of lower temperature makes me happy. This week the average was 29 degrees and rarely exceeded. The humidity in the grow box is around 50% which is ok. Watering is a little more frequent, every three days, and sometimes every other day. I still add CalMg but this week I started adding BIO-BLOOM Fertilizer. I prepare 9 liters of water, add the listed nutrients and lower the p.H. to 6.0. I water all three plants on the Farm with this amount. A few days before the end of the week, I cleaned the bottom of the plant to allow better air circulation and to make it easier for me to water. I also turned up the LED lights to 80% at the beginning of the week. Here's what the past week looked like. 15/08/2024 - Day 22. Watering. The soil was very dry and the leaves were drooping. I watered each plant with 3 liters of water. I put 1ml/liter CalMg and 1.5 ml/liter Bio-Bloom Fertilizer in the water. 18/08/2024 - Day 25. Watering. Again the soil is very dry and the leaves are drooping. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier. 21/08/2024 - Day 28. Official end of the first week of flowering. 07/08/2020 Powdery mildew has cleared up got bird poop on leaves now will clean, and defoliate as needed🙏 Red Sky clones do not take light stress well be on top of that shit with a timer! The first clone I took I put under 24 hour light (on purpose)sent out male flower at several nodes (collecting for Feminized project) So no light stress, unless you need to!

BB2 and GG2 seem to be about a week ahead of the other two. Those two showed the deficiencies. Seems to have quite a few bud sites. About the same watering and fertilizer routine as previous week.

Week 2 Growing normally, no signs of malformations. Daylight 16h Ventilation on 15min/h - heat mat off Watering 1 time

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil spread evenly across the top of the soil. Day 1 we had a high temperature of 85°F with sunny skies. I watered 3-5 gallons from the hose. Day 2 we had high temperature of 87°F with partly cloudy to cloudy skies. I watered 3-4 gallons from the hose. I added 100 ml of blood meal spread evenly across the top of the soil. Day 3 We had a high temperature of 85°F. It rained the previous night and intermittently raining and thunderstorms today. I did get these trained a little this morning. It's not the prettiest but I took some foliage off and opened them up by tying the branches to stakes arranged on the outside of the pots. I added 50ml plant tone and 50ml feather meal in top of the soil. The rain is watering today. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 73°F and all day rain. The rain was what remained of hurricane Beryl. There was a lot of wind up to 20 miles per hour. These girls handled it and loved the rain. Day 5 we had clear sunny skies and a high temperature of 85°F. I fed 150 ml feather meal and 45 ml Coop Poop. I watered 3-5 gallons from the water hose. Day 6 we had a high temperature of 86°F and partly cloudy skies. Plants #1 and #3 developed powdery mildew on their lower leaves. The #2 plant is showing immunity. I'm going to treat for the next 5 days with Arber organic biofungicide. I ran the fertilizer a little hot the girls are clawing and super dark green this evening. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 85 with partly cloudy skies. This week was a success. The girls added height and began flower. The powdery mildew that developed on #3 and #1 is minimal and only on the lower leaves. I'll remove these and try to get them a little more air flow. The girls have been so hungry now that they've gotten some size. The soil I used was recycled organic and had a lot of built up phosphorus from on my previous runs, which meant I couldn't add anything with phos as it would push them to lockout. It's finally playing out and I'm barely keeping these girls fed with enough nitrogen. The nitrogen I added actually had the leaves clawing about 6 hours after I added it. It wasn't bad and you can see on day 7, the girls were already back to business as usual. I finished topping these pots off with soil. The Sun plays a big part in my plants growth. There is very limited room with lots of morning and evening shade. That's why some of these were growing more on one side than the other. It's now changed direction and I've moved the plants to their permanent spot in the garden.

The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. I enjoyed this plant a lot, its grew well and loved how it was shorter and fatter. I wonder if it was at the dame distance from the plant if It could have done even more. Had some issues with the yellowing that was happening on the other plant in this tent. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and it may have hurt the yields a bit. The top best looking buds looked and smelled amazing even the lower buds where doing well not so larfy like the other plant. There was crazy strong smells with this plant, sour berries and hints of lemon, it was a best smelling plant I have grown to date. This would be a great plant to grow for beginners, cant take a lot of stress and still produces quite well and even on lower wattage leds it was good. It was not the most crystally looking plant, not like the maltezerz but still had some finger hash buildup but a small amount. I feel this plant would be a winner for a rosin press. I don't plan on growing this strain out again despite me liking a lot of qualities about it. I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. Only some of the lower growth is larfy, will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = $74.46kw * 0.15kw = $11.17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = $58.99kw *0.15kw = $8.85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = $104.30kw *0.15kw = $15.65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. $11.17 + $8.85 + $15.65 = $35.67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 4.57oz or 129.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷ 129.6g = 2.60 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 129.6g = 0.28c/g It cost 28c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. 54DLI @ 12 hours The stem that snapped clean off in week 5, the resulting stress seems to have made a 2ft solid massive cola, probably the biggest individual I've grown, albeit she had signs of stress, and I felt like she was a little behind in the floral development compared to others, but as the rest of the plants start to settle down with packing on mass, the stressed colawas just getting started. Super interesting to see the difference that the snap made to the base of the stem overall, as I know before the snap, they were all the same girth or thereabouts. Neat little lucky accident, maybe I'll try something next grow. Start to cool things off now. YB.
