Thursday this week has been good so far, I pulled each plant out yesterday and tidied everything up. I got rid of all the tiny lateral branches that didn’t make the cut and I got Rid of everything that was below about half way down the plant. Obviously the lateral branches that grew to the same height as the canopy are staying it’s just all the non starter stuff below. I annoyingly had my in take fan die on me. We’ll sort of, it just keeps tripping the fuse on my electric so I assume it’s from when I had my res flood onto the floor - I forgot it was there on the floor because it was hidden behind the res

@MephistoGenetics, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 10 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. I highly encourage newbies to run with this strain and don’t look back. Super tolerant that produces both yield and quality. Luckily I didn’t run into any deficiencies, disease, or pests. Temps and humidity where on point the entire run. The only neg would be these girls got wayyyy to tall. I had to remove light hangers to gain 5 inches. Even at that I had buds with 5 inches of a 1000w HPS HID. Hood is air cooled so heat wasn’t an issue but one plant def had light stress. Yield and quality is fantastic. I was hoping for a pound for no real reason other than is sounds cool to yield a full 16 ounces. Even more so than yield I was looking for top notch quality and I must say these girls made it. I’m not sure if they reach the 25% THC the strain is known for but either way the can’t be far behind. Smoke tests reveal a smooth smoke with a slight pungent gassy taste. High hit mid way thru lean cone With an energetic yet relaxing high. Lasted over two hours and I’m no light weight. Saved tones of larf nugs, sugar leaves and fans leaves for batches of butter and maybe some hash. Wife wants some fans leaves for a skin lotion. Overall a great run and next run of the 4 best plants is ready to go. Update 5 days after harvest. Buds are starting dry out but still have plenty of moisture. Prob another 5 days till dry. Smell is increasing by the day becoming really pungent. Canna butter came out awesome. Planning on making some bubble hash with sugar leaves and some larf. Update 8 days after harvest. Buds are dry enough for jars. Hanging buds weighed over 13 oz. Still have a bunch drying in racks After jarring for 8 hours, received a pungent odor. I think these girls are gonna stinkkkk. Hoping the taste is there. Potency is 👌. What a great first experience. Happy with this smooth run with no real issues. Can’t be happier with The product at the end. I made some canna butter and tincture. Wife made some skin lotion. I have bubble bags on the way and 2 ounces of leaf matter and an ounce of larf that’ll be going thru a bunch of washes. This growing this is for me. Tons of work and time but in the end it’s worth it.

Amazing Colours! As you can see the colours on this plant at the end of its run are absolutely amazing. The buds didnt out as dense as I had hoped but I think thats just this pheno and we are busy hunting a denser pheno atm. what a great strain to grow though. no problems during the cycle of the plant and the colours make it so rewarding to grow! I would definitely recommend this strain to people who like fruity and colourful plants. Barneys never disappoints really;)

Day 13 - Actual start of the Grow Diary today. Day 14 - She is looking good but developed a weird yellow spot on one new leaf. Gonna keep a close eye on it! Tip - For anyone who is still taking pink/purple pictures, pick yourselves up a pair of growroom green glasses they work perfectly for taking pictures under LED Lighting.

The plant stretched a lot this week and the first pistils have appeared. The weather was very sunny and the temperature rised a bit while the humidity went down. It's not the perfect conditions but the plant grew well nevertheless :)

On day 1 I changed out my reservoir, and added my bloom nutes, adjusted my light schedule to 12/12 and defoliated the plants. I adjusted the reservoirs PH to 6.1 My hope is that by flipping this cultivar earlier than my last run, I will not run out of vertical space ;). On day 2 I adjusted my reservoirs PH down to 6.1. On day 3 the clawing is almost completely gone. I adjusted the reservoirs PH down to 6.1. On day 4 the reservoir's PH is at 6.1. I defoliated the plants removing anything blocking lower growth to increase light and air penetration of my mains. On day 5 the reservoirs PH is 6.1. On day 6 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir up from 6.0 to 6.3. I will let the PH drift between 6.1-6.3. on day 7 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. I lowered the light intensity from 100% to 85% to give the top of my plant canopy an average PPFD of 700-1000. I plan to reduce the intensity as the plants continue to stretch to keep them in the 800-1000 PPFD range. I just got my first quantum par sensor and I'm really loving the new data it gives me to optimize my lighting.

Day 21: A steady week finishing their stretch this week. They have staked their claim to their spaces well but the C Banana could find herself hidden by the Monster and her other friend Fruity Gorilla Sorbet. She is slap bang in the middle and they are both very bushy neighbours. She has some great growth broke through the canopy and will be easy to manage Monster Zkittelz has got very dominant at the back corner. She has spread out so well and will be a very good size once she hits harvest. Lots of growth going on below stairs and her stems look good to support some nice big colas. Be safe and sane Growmies.

9/28 Day 24. Raised air pumps above the water line using two 5 gal buckets. Removed the inline air backflow valve and this increased aeration greatly! - Feeding day. Red TDS 850. EC 1.8 / Blue TDS 800. EC 1.7 / Yellow TDS 785. EC 1.6 / 10ml CalMag, 10ml Micro, 5ml Grow, 5ml Bloom, 2ml UC Roots. Will check TDS & EC through the week as they are starting to drink up the water. - LST started today. I will be adjusting them daily to pull off shoot branches in different directions. 9/30 Day 26. Added water for the first time. Used purified drinking water from the grocery store (Ph 7.45 TDS 95 EC .2) and PH'd it down to 5.9 10/1 Day 27. Readjusted the LST wires and added some new ones on the stems that can now be pulled in different directions. Red suffered a break on the main stem that went 1/2 through the stalk. I decided to use the LST wire to push it back together so that it can heal. I will still train the other shoots in different directions and let the main stem just do it's thing. Blue and Yellow pulled in new directions to open up the middle and spread out the stems. - I defoliated (light amount) some of the 3 leaf blades that were touching the container lids, and any larger 5 leaf blades that were blocking light to any new shoots with new stem growth and potential bud sites. I wanted to allow the air flow at the lower section of the plant. 10/2 Day 28. Everyone is bouncing back from the LST. Keeping a close eye on Red and the injury healing. I've decided to do a 1/2 of a weekly feed every 4 days instead of a mass feeding once a week. I will test the TDS and EC, see what the plants are telling me before I feed of course. (All values before feeding) - Red PH 5.98 TDS 720 EC 1.512 - Blue PH 6.17 TDS 728 EC 1.544 / Will add .25 PH down and re-test all in an hour after the feed to check PH values. - Yellow PH 5.93 TDS 708 EC 1.497 Feeding: 5ml CalMag, 5ml Micro, 4 ml Gro, 2ml Bloom, 2ml UC Root Guard. Post Feed values: - Red PH 5.78 TDS 808 EC 1.695 - Blue PH 5.90 TDS 846 EC 1.796 - Yellow PH 5.73 TDS 803 EC 1.700 Lessons learned week 4. 1. Be a little more gentle on LST. 2. Mark the water sight gauge at each 1 gallon increment so that I can track water replenishment levels. 3. Started a spreadsheet to monitor feeding value changes.
