This is the week 2! Well, the plant looks really healthy, and she kept growing up, straight to the light! Good to see that even after the strange beginning, with the stem crooked, she recover her path! This week, I'm also planning to start feeding them with some NPK. Just need to read a little bit more about it and buy nutrients. Probably I'll try Canna stuff. Anyone know if it's good?

💩Holy Crap💩 That was so much fun , it's full on winter where I am and it kept me busy , and come on there's nothing like growing your own stuff. I had a blast as it's been at least over 10 years since my last indoor grow , and it was fun , I had used all of my old techniques and equipment and it worked out just fine , so I was glad I had a ruff idea of what to expect...... Final thoughts Gonna be honest about that grow , it should me just how far Genetics have come, 10 plus years ago before I stopped growing indoors , all we had was like lowrider auto and greenomatic auto and maybe few others but they were horrible...... but this auto produced quite well as expected it should with the size of my medium and my soil base and very little nutrients, which is what I had hoped for from the start , cause I didn't really know where to start in terms of Genetics as I have been out the game for awhile but I'm super glad with the results and some gratitude needs to be sent to CanukSeeds , they came through as it always starts and ends with elite Genetics👌 ........... I can't wait to start my next grow diary, so keep an eye out , there's gonna be more to come , I'm going to try some really interesting cultivars........ PS. Growth is amazing and the girls already need to be transplanted into their final 5 gallon pots. Transplanting went well, I could have waited another week and I think it would have been better. Anastasia is having issues with the main stem growing straight so I added supports to encourage straight growth. Drizella is too but not as severe. During the transplant process. I also sprinkled Great White Mycorrhizae on the roots for better root health and to reduce transplant stress. Nutrients still hand watering every other day to run off. 5.8 ph / 1.63 ec / 74.7 degrees I reconditioned my coco coir from my first grow that was originally 1 bag of royal gold tupur blend which I believe produced some nats due to the forest material mixed in with the coco coir. This one original bag was enough to fill two 3 gallon pots and transplant them into two 5 gallon pots with a little left to spare. I hand cleaned that first grow medium to remove all large root debris and then rinsed it thoroughly in Ro only water before letting it dry for several weeks leading up to this current transplant. I then soaked it in a solution of Sensizym and calMag to break down any remaining dead roots into nutrients while ensuring the medium is still well buffered. The girls were started in the 3 gallon pots using a new bag of roots organics brand 70/30 coco coir/perlite. That medium had to be buffered well with calMag to avoid common Calcium and Magnesium deficiency that surface due to coco coirs ability to soak it up and steal it from the plant. This was a leason learned from my first grow that resulted in several foliage feedings to adjust for. I was able to recycle a great deal of coco coir from my first grow which provided me enough to bump this grow up to three plants from two. So I used the recycled coco as the base and most of the back fill in all thee 5 gallon pots. I did have to use a little extra of the 70/30 to top everything off properly. I still have a 1/4 of a bag of the 70/30 left dor future grows.

Bud rot got the one I left outside in the polytunnel , shame but the weather was terrible here.

Heat stress outside temperature getting to high

1st week 2nd day - Gelato popped through, removed water bottle. Swapped intake and exhaust fans about to get new fresh air from outside. Used diffuser to raise humidity and ice cubes to lower temp. Intake running on full, exhaust at 70%. Cookies popped through. Removed water bottle. Misted tent and lightly top watered. Intake at 70, exhaust at 50 for overnight. Diffuser to hold humidity. Day 5 - First watering - 1l ph water each. Misting tent throughout day. Day 6 - Added 180mm cyclone fan for air movement. Removed runoff. Both seedlings doing well. Slightly further development on cookies.

Drying

That was the most difficult week. It was very cold and rainy, the humidity of the air reached 90% at most, but without sequels, thank God. On day 63, I defoliated and she is strong, fat and definitely smells like cheese.

Woche 9 .. und die Pflanze eskaliert vollständig.🤭 Aus Sorge ihr Wachstum mit für uns üblichen Methoden nicht mehr wirklich bändigen zu können, nutzen wir Gummizüge als "Scroglines" in der Hoffnung zumindest die Richtung des Wuchses vorgeben zu können.🌳 Scrog möchten wir es trotzdem nicht nennen.🤷‍♂️

Hey all sorry for the late update. Got really busy with work and just wasnt uploading. I had to cull phat Gary cause she was a genetic herm, I’m talking pollen sacks all the way up the main stem. I’ve seen a few stress sacks here and there on the lowers but nothing like this. I added a video of it so you might know what to look out for. It’s my first experience with exotic genetix and while I have heard of them having herm issues before, I have never had anything quite like phat Gary. But, on the other hand, this Gary Poppins #2 is the best smelling plant I’ve ever had. She smells like a straight strawberry soda, just this very fizzy strawberry scent. It’s unreal. Gary Poppins #1 has a similar terp profile, but not as loud and she’s frosty as ever. Both the perm marker s1’s are identical. Both look exactly like the perm marker flower I’ve bought from seed junky in the past. Very lime green buds with light oranges hairs. Smells just like a permanent marker. Couldn’t be happier with how this run is going, well except Phat Gary. Still haven’t decided on Exotic Genetix yet. I guess we will wait and see how Blueberry Gary comes out, she’s currently in week 6 veg. Shout out to the mad scientist Jbeezy though, this perm marker is unreal. When I saw he was releasing s1’s I couldn’t believe it. Gonna wash this entire run for some fresh frozen. I would absolutely love to get this Gary Poppins #2 smell to transfer to some live rosin. Will update this when we finish and I’ll make a diary for blueberry Gary and Gastro pop from compound genetics when I get a chance. March 28th: She's still standing. I tried to take some trichome shots, but i'm not sure how well they are. It's my first shot at it, so cut me some slack! I gave about two gallons of water this week. I'm not sure if she's still drinking a lot, or if the pot getting dry faster is due to a few degree increase in temperature. All of the water was straight well water, not pH'ed. Which reminds me: pH of water doesn't matter when using living soil. The pH of the Soil is what matters. pH in hydroponics makes sense because the water is where your plants will pick up nourishment. The medium for hydro IS the water, which means your water needs proper pH. In soil, the pH is due to all the calcium, magnesium, micro and macro nutrients and minerals that are in it. That will create a pH in your soil. Now, you can also get a high pH in your soil due to sodium build-up. This isn't what you're looking for, as sodium build-up in soil is a no-no. Now, for the fun fact: If you have a low pH in your soil because you don't have enough calcium, pH'ing your water isn't going to do anything. You gotta fix the soil problem, which will correct the pH of the soil, and trying to use pH'ed water isn't the solution. You'd have to add more calcium to your soil to fix it. Anyway. Light intensity is still at 100%. As you can see, i've got some floppy branches on this cultivar. I gotta admit, i love when branches start floppin' around. It tells me that the plant is close to harvest! Just gotta wait on those trichomes to get a few more amber, then she'll be ready to chop. She's still only showing fade ever so slightly. The purple hue is nice, but i wish it would become a bit more pronounced. Maybe it will over the next few days.
