Zamnesia's newly harvested Tropicana Cookies #1 has given us a lot of satisfaction, starting with a huge main cola and ending with a very good resin build and a good production and composition of beautiful, hard buds. The aroma it releases is sweet, delicious, and intoxicating. The plant has grown a lot and is a nice, large plant, although the side branches are a bit too long, which needed support. It's a plant with medium-wide internodal spacing, so it grows tall, with the main cola standing out from the lower buds, and it's very virile, if that concept can be applied to plants. This strain is much-loved; there are many good and famous versions, but ours here at Zamnesia is the best of them all. Look at my plant arriving soon, look at the work of my brother MontyDiabalero, master of giant plants. The resin content is excellent; really, the videos and photos speak for themselves. We grew in a standard 11-liter plastic pot. Maturity - The pistils have been looking super ripe for a long time, especially the upper ones, which are very red, and we're still over 90%. The trichomes are about 20% amber, 50% cloudy/milky, and 30% clear, more or less naturally, but I think that's fine. Remember, my friends, the harvest window for amber trichomes is 15%-30%; THEY DON'T HAVE TO BE ALL AMBER. Amber is a sign of maturity but also of THC oxidation, which transforms the plant's effect into a relaxing "indica," even if the plant is used for daytime use. So my advice is to harvest based on the plant's characteristics if you want to maintain the described effect and according to your needs. If you need to make weed for sleep, let it ripen very, very much, and then you'll need a more pronounced amber. For sativas, or better yet, to maintain daily effects, I recommend around 15% to 20% amber and mostly milky. The flowers are all excellent quality and the yield is excellent, I believe 50-70 grams, cleaned and trimmed, not a full-sized plant. The overall shape of the plant is very good, a tall girl, no techniques used. I have another in a 20-liter pot that is exceptionally large and full of flowers. It's probably very suitable for scrog; it responded excellently to topping. It has a particular characteristic of strong and powerful roots. We chose a 100% organic soil, 1000% Plagron, as always. The soil we chose is the recently launched Plagron Bio LightMix, which will allow us to start with more gradual and consistent watering, without the sudden changes that liquid fertilizers can cause. A week of soil is enough, so don't overdo it. Z - https://www.zamnesia.io/en/10921-zamnesia-tropicana-cookies-semi.html Z - The award-winning Girl Scout Cookies is a cannabis strain that lends itself very well to breeding projects. That's why we boldly experimented by combining its genetics with a fruity Tangie. The result is Tropicana Cookies, a fast and potent hybrid with 22% THC. This strain is highly productive, and its buds are not only rich in sweet and spicy terpenes but also covered in a layer of sticky trichomes (which facilitate the extraction of high-potency concentrates). Tropicana Cookies' genetic makeup is 60% sativa and 40% indica, a blend that produces a balanced and euphoric effect. Although easy to grow both indoors and outdoors, Tropicana Cookies thrives outdoors in warm climates. If you have enough space and good sunlight, the plants can reach heights of 180 cm. Wait until mid-October and, in optimal conditions, you can harvest a whopping 700 g/plant. A result well worth the effort. This strain also impresses indoors, reaching heights of 150 cm and producing 500 g/m². Tropicana Cookies also stands out for its rapid flowering. After just 7-8 weeks of indoor flowering, it will be ready for harvest. You know it, but I recommend it: here you can find so many beautiful things, essentially "the best that nature has to offer." Yeahhh...last week for them. I can't wait anymore. Facing the possibility to move to another house I'll have to finish the process earlier than I was wishing but far late that I first tough in how long it could take to harvest. Last two weeks they are showing a few signs in their trichomes (Dwarf 100% white with a few getting gold colour - N.Lights 80% white, a few gold spots) but I'm running out time. About my two Jacks, they are still drying in a homemade amazon cupboard dryer box (not happy with that but no other alternative) and when it be ready I'll let here my opnion.

Right then 7 weeks of flower complete. I'll dive right in to the juicy bits as this week has been predominantly about deciding weather to chop or keep one of my girls going. In the end I chose to do both! As the photos and videos show the plant wasn't recovering so I checked the trichomes and it was actually pretty ripe. A few Amber's on the upper buds. Lowers still undeveloped so I decided to take the biggest and leave the smallest for another week or while ever the plant is healthy. I estimate I've taken around 7oz once dry. Depending how they swell up I'm hoping for a further 5oz of solid bag worthy nugs. Looking nice and frosty, smell is that typical sweet haze with some sour diesel/fruit kick in there. You can see how the photos progress my hands getting covered in resin. Got to give my other 3 some love as they are getting healthier and fatter. I'm thinking another week on one of them and 2 on the others. I'll more than likely stagger the harvest like tonight if it proves worth while. I will update mid week.

# Frosted Guava Auto by Zamnesia | Pheno B 🌱❄️ ## Germination Week | Another Frosty Beginning Hello GrowDiaries family! 👋🌱 Welcome to another new journey. As some of you may have noticed, I've recently adjusted the way I document my grows. With the current photo limitations on GrowDiaries, each phenotype now receives its own dedicated diary rather than sharing a single journal with its sisters. This allows me to continue documenting every stage of development while selecting the best photographs from each week and keeping everything organized from seed to harvest. The goal remains exactly the same as always: To create an honest, educational, and complete record while sharing observations, successes, lessons learned, and everything in between. Today, we begin following Frosted Guava Auto Pheno B. A sister to the previous phenotype, sharing the same roots but carrying her own unique story waiting to unfold. --- ## Two Sisters, Two Possibilities One of the most interesting parts of growing multiple phenotypes is watching how similar plants begin their lives almost identically and then slowly reveal their differences over time. At this stage, both Frosted Guava sisters are showing exactly what we hope to see: Healthy germination. Strong emergence. Good vigor. Healthy color. A solid start. But every grower knows that the real personality of a plant often appears later. That is part of the reason I enjoy documenting each phenotype separately. The similarities are interesting. The differences are where the surprises usually hide. For this run, we're following Frosted Guava Auto from Zamnesia Seeds, cultivated under a 12/12 from seed schedule from the very first day of life. A method that is a little different from what most growers choose, but one that has become part of my own cultivation style over time. Throughout this diary, I'll explain not only what I'm doing, but also why I'm doing it, allowing anyone interested to follow the process from beginning to end. --- ## Germination Using the Cannakan System To begin this run, I once again used the Cannakan germination system. For organizational purposes, the autoflower section of the project was germinated using my second Cannakan unit, while the photoperiod section used the first. The methodology itself remained exactly the same. Simple. Organized. Reliable. The seed was placed inside using only plain water. No nutrients. No additives. No stimulants. Just water. Within approximately 24 hours a healthy taproot had emerged and the seed was ready for planting. Exactly what we hope to see from healthy genetics. --- ## Why Only Water? One question that often appears during germination is: "Why not feed the seed immediately?" The answer remains simple. The seed already contains everything required for its first stage of life. Inside that shell are the energy reserves needed to establish roots and begin development. At this stage, I prefer allowing the seed to use those natural reserves exactly as intended. The objective is not to feed the plant. The objective is simply to wake it up. Water is enough. Nature has already prepared the rest. --- ## Coco Starter Plugs Like the rest of this project, the seed began life inside a coco starter plug. The plug was fully hydrated and then gently squeezed to remove excess moisture while maintaining a healthy balance between water retention and oxygen availability. Once germinated, the seed was carefully inserted into the plug and placed inside a humidity dome. The dome remained useful for only a short period. Within less than 24 hours the seedling had already emerged and was ready for the next step. At that point, she was transplanted directly into a small container filled with Plagron Lightmix. --- ## Environmental Conditions Environmental conditions remained intentionally simple and stable. Temperatures stayed around 26–27°C. Humidity was maintained between approximately 65–70% using a Spider Farmer humidifier. Rather than keeping seedlings inside extremely humid conditions for extended periods, I prefer introducing them relatively early to the environment they will actually experience throughout their life cycle. The objective is adaptation. Not dependence. Airflow remained extremely gentle. Just enough movement to keep fresh air circulating without creating unnecessary stress. --- ## Lighting Lighting during germination remained intentionally soft. Young seedlings simply do not require intense light levels at this stage. The goal is healthy establishment rather than rapid growth. Once properly established, this girl will move under the Future Of Grow Black Series 600W full-spectrum LED system where the next stage of development begins. For now, healthy roots and healthy growth remain the priorities. --- ## First Observations Everything has progressed exactly as hoped so far. Fast germination. Healthy taproot. Strong emergence. Healthy color. Good vigor. And perhaps most importantly: A healthy beginning. At this stage every seedling remains an unwritten chapter. A tiny plant carrying months of possibilities inside it. That mystery is one of the reasons growing never stops being exciting. --- ## Looking Ahead Over the coming weeks we'll follow Frosted Guava Auto Pheno B through every stage of development. We'll document: - Root establishment - Early growth - Environmental management - Watering practices - Structural development - Flowering progression - And whatever unique characteristics this phenotype chooses to reveal Because every seed deserves the opportunity to tell its own story. Huge thanks to Zamnesia Seeds for the genetics, Plagron for the substrate and nutrition, Future Of Grow for the lighting, and everyone following along for another seed-to-harvest adventure. Grower's Love everyone. 🌱

The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil spread evenly across the top of the soil. Day 1 we had a high temperature of 77°F. I watered 4-5 gallons per pot once. Day 2 we had a high temperature of 81°F with partly cloudy skies. We missed the 50% chance of rain today. I watered 4-5 gallons per pot, once. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 71°F with cloudy overcast skies. It's rained most of the morning with more rain in the forecast. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 77°F. We had a big front move through today. It been raining and overcast all day. The girls seem to be loving it, but I'll need to treat for powdery mildew again ASAP. Day 5 we had a high temperature today of 83° F. Skies were cloudy to partly cloudy and it rained for several hours. Day 6 we had a high temperature of 91°F. We had rain overnight and early morning. The skies were partly cloudy and I didn't have to water today. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 90°F. Skies were sunny and I watered 4-5 gallons per pot once. I treated with Growers Ally Fungicide just before dark. This week was a success. We had lots of rain and cool temperatures. The powdery mildew flared up a little as I didn't treat because of the daily rain. We finished our The week with warmer temps and sunshine. The girls have slowed down their upward growth and have almost transitioned to generative phase one or flower. They're starting to smell citrusy.

GENERAL COMMENT. WEEK 5 OF FLOWER. Ok guys, this week ran ok for one girl and less for her sister, so i will go on details individually. RQS NORTHERN LIGHTS AUTOMATIC COMMENT. As I has commenting since the beginning I think this could be a nice strain to grow with minimal water and nutes, keep that in mind when growing this strain, i learned the hard way. What happened with this girl is that salt builded up in the medium and de stabilised mainly the PH, creating a super acidic medium, thats my bad, i failed to id earlier. So back to spotting, and a bit of yellowing showing, so some deficiencies, i honestly don’t know how this is going to end. I flushed her 4 days a go with PH water to 6.5, that raised the medium runoff from 5.0 to 5.4-5.6, and flushed again with tap water, is alkaline at 8.1+, runoff is still 5.6, so that raised more concern with that input range getting so acidic runoff is bad, and in the end of flush received a dose of voodoo juice, big bloom, calmag and top candy, that are all organic at regular ph, EC at 1.8. I know the PH fluctuation can worse the scenario. I’m been apocalyptic is just that i’m feeling a bit turn down now, i was expecting this girl to run flawlessly, heads up will try my best to correct issues, just wished she was like her sister…

as the second week of June is just on it's end and the weather has had it's ups and downs with a lot of rain and some nice sunny days the plants keep growing day by day. The tallest plant reached a height of 86 centimeters or 33.85 inch so i'm getting close to the 1 meter mark. But hopefully they will grow much bigger as they have plenty of time left. Last year i a grew Blue Dream and a Chocolope in pots which reached a total height of 1,38 meter, which both yielded 30 grams each. What i should mention about the plants from last year is that the seeds weren't bought but came out of a friends weed. So this year it was all out with premium seeds, more knowledge and experience, great soil and hopefully the best weather

The CP are becoming pretty top heavy and i find myself picking 1-2 from the ground each visit, I waited the containers with stones to see if this would help. The 3 remaining CP stand as tall as me in their containers (6ft) and are 107 days from seed, i'm expecting a pretty decent yield from them in October :)

Tenth Week / 11.07.24 - 17.07.24 Week 10 was similar to the previous one, with steady progress and a few adjustments. 🌿 The Cookies Gelatos started showing signs of nutrient deficiency, drawing nutrients from the leaves. To address this, I increased the nutrient dosage by 0.5ml for all except CalMag, which I increased to 0.75ml per liter. 🌱 The plants seem to be responding well to the adjustment, and the buds are slowly swelling, especially on Apollo F1. Everything’s progressing nicely! 🌼🚀

04/28/2020 Week #8 of flowering begins will post more pics latter. 04/29/2020 Did some leaf removal had some powdery mildew on some leaves took infected leaves off, plus some for good measure. Drying out every day or two today she took one liter before run off. You can see in the video the colors? And sparkling buds? 04/30/2020 Day 50 I decided to take the top buds in pics , 47 grams wet. It is a 9-12 week strain but I think she need a week or two? But we will see.
