I had an amazing stretch on the plants this week, do also some defo below the net. Otherwise, I’m keeping interventions to a minimum since everything is running smoothly. The one at the top left (GB) is growing more slowly, but it’s starting to catch up.

Week 5 of flower update and this was not a good week at all. The light burn got progressively worse over a 4 day stretch that I was away and couldn’t address it earlier. Torched a few tops pretty good. Likely salvageable but it wont be a pretty finish. The only good news about this is that my 2 100% keeper plants were either unaffected or only minorly. Went full beast mode and ripped apart the whole system just to cut 2” off the legs, clean, prune and then reinstall everything. We’re also gonna swap the cob light with an xs2000 and sf1000 combo. Same power but room for clearance error. If we’re lucky - we still get to the finish with some quality smoke and an initial sampling of this new F1. Jesus - my issues never seem to end these days….

So far so good, Growmies! 🌱 I’ve been watering the seedlings with BioBizz Root Juice to encourage root growth, and I’ve also been watering at a fair distance from the plants so the roots stretch out in search of moisture. Growth is nominal, with all 5 seedlings developing in step with one another. Hi Growmies. Another week done at day 24 flowering. They seem to have finished their stretch period and all have the 1st flush of dress flowering pistils at their growing tips. I am now feeding at a flowering strength feed with additional shogun additives too. I am very pleased with their progress and final foundation foe the flowering stage. The height is a very reasonable 18 inches to the canopy top which has levelled out very well so far. I did have to do a little bending and twisting as they settled into the shapes but it has been very easy to work with them so far . Bruce Banner#3 has really put put some growth among the branches and will really need to be defoliated to make sure that the air can get around this big lady and avoid any risks of "dead air" or warm pockets. She has a great frame to build her buds onto and some nice thick stems to support the possible chunks. The node spacing is a medium to long but hopefully they will join up where they can over the next 7-8 weeks. Candy Rain. Her quad training has been productive and I didn't need to really do too much beside hold the two higher branches back a little. she should be a nice open branched , baseball batted cola beast at her final week.. Jealousy #1 and #2 have really been busy with their flower sets and have so much growth going off beneath those huge leafed frames. The leaf sizes are brilliant for harvesting all the available light during veg and i will be sad to defoliate them both at day 21 F. They are so productive that a good lollipopping mat also be called for with the lower growth not really getting enough light to be worth the energy sharing. I can see how these ladies would be huge in an outdoor grow bit also in a bigger indoor space too. I am sonimoress2d with the health and vigour of all of these ladies but seeing how well the #2 Jealousy has caught up and surpassed her sisters has been a shocker. she has some very big fan leaves and nice chunky stems to hold them expected colas too. Our Zookies Automatic are very cute. Remember that we are growing 1 Plant worked with the techniques and one left to grow without cutting techniques to preserve its speed. When should I flush??????????

Day 28: I got home from 10 days of holidays and these girls had cruised along as if I had been there with them the whole time. They are very happy, especially the middle one. The small one on the right has always been small, is what it is. She could be a stack little shorty. Time will tell. I did a feed today, top dressed according to Gaia Green at 15 ml/ gal of media which should last approx 2 weeks. I also added a bit more 444 just to make sure there’s enough N during this stretch phase. All 3 have pistols showing and are starting to flower. I was unable to train as much as I’d have liked but is what it is. Sometimes the more indica strains I’ve done are negatively effected by topping and excess training. I removed a couple huge fans that were shading too much of the plant. I also am trying a “super cropping” of top fans to get them out of the way but still save them as a nute source if they need. We’ll see how it goes. The Vipar spectra xs2000 is killling it as usual. As I’ve said 50 times it’s super powerful and I’ve had to raise the light above recommended height as I started to see leaf edge curl and light stress. No problem at all tho, better too powerful and raise it than too weak and have loose buds. I did a micro top just to stop excessive apical meristem stretch and leaving all the other lower branches too low for effective light absorption or burn on the top cola. Happy Growing 🌱

Bud sites/ pistils starting to pop through now ...really happy with how she has turned out in the end, learned so much from this plant I've become emotionally attached...and took 2 clones ...really hoping they take to (never cloned on my life🤞)

Start of week 4 of flowering. Week 3 went well, even with temps reaching 35°c in the closet. I've since added another fan to circulate more air, temps have dropped down to 31°c. Despite the heat stress, the plants are growing rather well and bud sites are developing nicely. Light defoliation again this feeding. Based on the heat issues, I need to upgrade my exhaust fan, 100 CFM isn't enough to get ride of the heat.

If you don't see it live every day you just can't believe how extreme it grows in Aerophonic :-). That's why I'm already in bloom again. That I already had the phenotype of Runtz a few times and know the strong strech, I suspect that it will grow extremely full this time 😅. She will continue to receive the veggie fertilizer for a few more days. As soon as the first blossoms are there, you switch to flower fertilizer. Next week I'll turn the watering timer down because it has more than enough roots. You can see that in the fact that roots are already moving through the drain into the tank 😂👍. She also has extremely large leaves :-). It was cleaned and the plant checked for pests, although I haven't noticed a single fly or anything else at Aerophonic.
