The week was without adventure. I raised CO2.. Now I will give the last week of Vega and translate to flowering. It is interesting to try to give the plant CO2 from the bale from the beginning of the vegetative stage😉

Top leaves are turning yellow probably due to excess light and heat. Temperatures are very high above 30oC in southeastern Brazil. I increased the lighting distance 30cm from the top. QB LM301H 120W

Both are still pushing out lots of new white pistils but glands are swollen all over the place and she's completely covered in cloudy trichs with few ambers 3-5%..will b harvesting her mid to late wk and will write final harvest report when she's ready to cure.. My carbon filter is struggling to completely take away all the smell and you get a faint odour when i enter room were the tent is.. Day 14. Weather is finally warm enough to put them out completely. Was kind of concerned with even getting them to this point. I started them fairly early. Day 15. May 9th, 2024 They lasted all night outside finally and will stay. I did add some worm casting on top of the soil. I plan to add some veg nutes soon. Will be using roots organics terp tea line. Almost ready for harvest! Watching the trichome production and keeping an eye out for cloudiness. Leaves are turning yellowish as the plants suck all the nutrients out to get nice a plump. Trimmed all the fan leaves off to prep for harvest. Switched to flushing, keeping the water between 5.8 and 6.2 pH and switched how we water slightly to make it easier. Will start harvest next week! I also recently went through all the weeks on the grow diary and redid and added a lot of pictures if you want to go back and take a look!

Smells on this bud are amazing! Very piney with hints of berries 😋 Not the biggest harvest, but that was expected seeing as this plant was grown in a 1 gal pot. None the less, I am happy with the results 😁

Compost tea turned out well, let it go for 26 hours total and geared it towards fungal. Also took some soil samples several days later around the stalks and found a lot of nematodes and protozoa which is what you want to see. Lots of different types of nematodes so what your looking for are the bacterial feeders (there are charts online that show you how to identify them). Mycorrhizae can be identified by it's dark colour, uniformity and segmented nature. Testate amoebas live in a translucent shell like a snail and are easy to spot but hard to spot moving due to my shitty microscope, but look for the tentacles. Also found some eggs with movement inside, no idea what they are but they have vacuoles and flagella. She is really getting sticky and smelly now; berries with herb notes. You can see the resin stretching over the trichomes in the last pic. No signs of senescence yet so I'm not going to feed them, they should have plenty of food anyway as this is a second run of the same soil.

This week the soil is finally a bit dryer, and I noticed the plant asking for food, therefore I applyed the solution with the described nutrients always being careful with nutrient overdose (less is more). The plant looks very healthy, and the only comment is that it has a leave with a weird shape. It could be due genetics. 😅 I used bio-pH+ from BioBizz to increase the pH from 5.64 to 6.3 (the ideal I think). Please let me know your thoughts about my plant 🙌
