420 FastBuds Strains

Say hello to my 4 newborn babies, I present them: they are all from the 420 FastBuds family and are called Gorilla Glue, LSD-25, Lemon AK and Six Shooter. They will grow up healthy and strong together with the little sisters Zkittlez and Cream Cookies and in the company of the other little cousins 😜 The little ones grow up happy under the new LED lamp and the two little ones outside the grow room can enjoy the direct light of two small LED bulbs and the indirect light of the two LED and HPS lamps. In the future I will install other LED lamps under the plastic table to create the nursery in which they can comfortably grow between 10 and 15 new plants and I will use HPS and LED lamps exclusively for the final stage of flowering. I think I can get a total of 15 plants on the table and 6 in the grow room using 7-liter pots and the Sea Of Green technique. In the coming days I will also have to buy a portable air conditioner to lower and regulate the temperature. I apologize for the photographs with the lighted lamps, but I use a light cycle 19/5 and I usually try to use the hours of darkness to sleep as I live with my plants 😉

June 18, 2019: The photographs and the report are relative to the past week from 12 to 18 June (today). As you can see, some plants were outside the grow room helped by the light of two small LED bulbs. In the grow room some plants were already big enough to be moved on the table under the HPS lamp. Outside temperatures began to rise...

June 18, today: Five days ago I bought an air conditioner to keep the temperature low in my room, now there are 35 degrees during the day and 28 at night. I also bought a small hygrometer on amazon to be able to check the results. In these days I have positioned the hygrometer in all the possible places leaving it for 24 hours in each of the positions including the inside of the grow room. After the tests I decided to definitively position the hygrometer at 25 centimeters away from the HPS lamp since this is the point of greatest overheating. As you can see from the images the temperature and humidity are on excellent levels. To complete the test purchases, I bought a PH analyzer and a TDS & EC, found the corresponding results in the images and in the main data. After having updated you on my setup, which still lacks the lamps I am going to mount under the table for newly germinated plants, I update you on the state of the plants. They grow strong and luxuriant and soon my whole garden will be composed only of strain coming from the 420 FastBuds 😜 in fact, as you can see from the images, I have already put 5 more seeds in the soil, one for each strain I have in the pantry 😉 June 25, end of week 3: Even the plants inside the grow room grow fast and particularly robust, all will be moved under the LED lamp in their final phase, but from the plants of the next cycle I will leave some to complete the entire vital phase under the Apollo 8 LED lamp for make a co-operation with those already grown under the HPS.

June 30: As you can see from the recent photographs all the plants have started their flowering. The LSD-25 is the largest plant while the second Lemon AK is the smallest because it has about 7/10 days less than the sisters. Before long I'll leave only one of the Zkittlez in the grow room because I already have three more under the HPS lamp, then I'll do the same thing with the next cycle to compare the complete strain cycle under the HPS and under the LED. The outside temperature continues to be very high at around 37 degrees during the day and 30 at night, but thanks to the air conditioner I can keep the room temperature at around 26 degrees for all 24 hours. Unfortunately the air conditioner is also a dehumidifier and since it is always on, the humidity drops to 30%, using a nebulizer with only water on the leaves the humidity quickly returns to 70% and stabilizes after a few hours at 50% 😉

July 7: We have now reached the 5th week for the 420 FastBuds strains, as usual I deeply defoliated all the plants, practicing a lighter defoliation to the Cream Cookies and this time all the plants reacted very well. In the grow room I chose and placed a Zkittlez bonsai and I will let it complete its life cycle under the LED lamp. Around the Zkittlez there are the 5 little sisters who were under the table. In this last week I was able to further lower the temperature by a couple of degrees with the lamp on and go down to a minimum of 20 degrees when the HPS lamp is off.

July 19: Hi guys and girls, that past has been an interesting week. I have already collected a Cream Cookies and a Zkittlez from the 420 FastBuds and can report the first report in the C.C.C. The other plants grow strong and others are almost ready to be harvested. For example, the Zkittlez that has completed its flowering under the LED lamp is already receiving only water like a second cream Cookies. I must say that comparing the plants grown and flowered under the HPS lamp and the LED lamp I don't find many differences, both plants have produced very dense and resinous buds. As you can also read in my journal C.C.C. both the Cream Cookies and the Zkittlez become part of my favorite varieties 😉 In the pictures you can see how the LSD-25 is a real purple variety. At his side is the Purple Glam Kush from BulkSeeds, which has nothing in purple except the name, but which is producing a considerable amount of buds with the latter plant. Back on the LSD-25 I have to admit that it is really beautiful and the photos don't do it justice. In the future I will make better ones. The Lemon AK and the Six Shooter have grown considerably in height and for this reason I have practiced the FIM with other smaller plants. July 24: This week I tried for the first time to make a resin extract using the BHO system, although instead of Butane I used Dimetyl Ether, a gas made for this kind of extractions made by Daxso. For many years I have used waste to make good hashish using the ice-olator method (water ice and sieves) and recently I also bought a bubbler machine because I am lazy 😆 In recent months, however, I have seen many videos on Youtube of people who made high quality resins with the BHO system and I decided to try. I purchased and used a 50 cm extractor, but I've already bought another one smaller than 30 cm that I want to fill with just buds. I made my first excerpt and could follow the steps in the video I uploaded. Unfortunately to smoke I will have to wait until next week when my new Focus V Card V2 arrives, but as soon as I get there I will keep you updated 😋

We have now reached the first day of August and it is time to make new crops. The Zkittlez that has completed its vital coclo under the LED lamp has become a fantastic plant and will be collected tomorrow along with the Purple Glam Kush. In the last few days I have received my new Focus V Carta concentrator vaporizer and I really recommend it to anyone who loves to concentrate. I'm using it for my BHO and Rosin and it's really cool. I also recently discovered how to dissolve my concentrates to create e-liquids from smoking with electronic cigarettes and I will soon make a video about it. Meanwhile I made a second video that you can see on my DHO extraction method using only freshly picked buds. As you can see from the images all the plants are in good health and the queen of my garden is currently the LSD-25 of FastBuds. A beautiful, very fragrant and very productive plant that certainly becomes part of the varieties that I will continue to grow every month. Even the plant that has just begun to bloom shows all its purple shades. If the effect once smoked is as reported in the producers' description (it should have psychedelic properties) it will surely become my favorite strain for this year 😋 August 4 Nice Updates: I'm really studying a lot these days and I'm improving my skills in creating concentrates. In the coming weeks I will also show you my attempt to decompose and reassemble cannabis at will. I will use my DHO for THC, derivatives and terpenes, buy a ready-made wax containing 70% CBD and isolated crystals of CBD at 99.9% and additional extracts of marijuana terpens for flavor. Everything will be dissolved with a few drops of a PEG solution similar to products like Wax Liquidizer or the Shatter Batter you have in the USA, but as I wrote I will show you in the coming weeks. As far as my girls are concerned, in the last few days I have collected the Purple Glam Kush and the beautiful Zkittlez that bloomed under the LED lamp. I also posted new images of the beautiful LSD-25. Since I decided to create new concentrates at each harvest I will divide the buds into three categories. I will smoke the medium and large buds and I will use the smaller ones and the first quality scraps to make my concentrates. With all the other scraps I will instead make hashish with the ice-olator method. I take this opportunity to wish you all happy summer holidays! 😎 August 7: I was uploading the results images when I realized something must have gone wrong when I uploaded my last video and it was still in conversion, I reupladed it. Results: with about 40 grams of top quality scraps I obtained 4.5 grams of DHO and with second quality scraps mixed with 17.5 grams of cleaned hashish I got 7.1 grams of DHO. We both lack small amounts that I have smoked these days, say about half a gram of one and a half gram of the other. Despite having used different materials both have similar color and texture. The taste of hashish feels very little and gives a note of freshness to the concentrate. Obviously both have a very powerful effect. As for the plants collected, I obtained 122 grams from the Purple Glam Kush and 157 from the Zkittlez 😉

August 13: We're almost there, the plants above the table and exposed to the light of the HPS lamp are completing flowering and will be harvested in the coming weeks. As I wrote earlier I fell in love at first sight with the LSD-25, a really wonderful plant, beautiful to look at, very fragrant and definitely very productive, I can't wait to be able to test its effect and taste 😋

As soon as I moved the plant from the support of the neighboring plants, the large and heavy buds of the LSD-25 bent the stems that supported them, a plant that as I wrote is absolutely beautiful, but also very productive. Collected together with a Zkittlez and a Cream Cookies you can notice the color and the beauty of the structure. Before long I will be able to taste it and bring back tastes and effects 😋 August 20: Even if only five days have passed I have already made a first taste and I must say that it tastes really strong, it is sweet and leaves an aftertaste between caramel and chocolate, it has a pungent note that could be due to excessive humidity, if I will lose spiciness I will update the info. The effect is decidedly heavy from pure indica and is still fresh, I believe that a few weeks later it will be even heavier. August 21: From this first LSD-25 I collected more than 270 grams of beautiful and compact buds that have the color of a good red wine, with shades of black. The description in the FastBuds online catalog shows that it should have a taste similar to Sour Diesel, but by smoking it with maps and vaporizers, my plant has a sweet taste between chocolate and caramel with the addition of a particular spiciness. I do not know if it is due to fertilizer or mixed with coconut fiber, but I find it absolutely delicious 😋

Collected with the LSD-25 and the latest Cream Cookies, the Zkittlez is a variety that I recommend to all growers, it is easy to grow and has excellent results. 😉 August 21: Also with the Zkittlez I got plants with a different flavor than the one reported by the FastBuds breeder in their description on the online shop. It should have a fruity taste, but my plant has a decidedly Sour Diesel taste, a flavor that LSD-25 should have had instead of chocolate. As I wrote on the LSD-25 page, I don't know why my plants have a different taste, but I must say that they are all ... tasty 😋

August 20: Today I finally received my new Apollo 10 model LED lamps and so I was able to replace my dear old 600w HPS. As you can see from the images the lamps have a different light spectrum, one is an Agro like the Apollo 8 that I use for the grow room, while the other has a light spectrum indicated only for flowering (in the photographs it is the one with many more orange LEDs). It is immediately clear that having widened the illumination surface using two lamps instead of one and having also increased the wattage, penetration is now complete and the light easily penetrates up to the vase. Obviously the temperature in a few hours has dropped considerably, about 5 degrees less in 6 hours of use of the new lamps and continues to fall, probably I will try to stabilize it between 20 and 25 degrees in the coming days. At the moment I put the two plants of Lemon AK and the Six Shooter under the flowering spectrum lamp which now have a height of 150 cm and which are positioned on a shelf created next to the table. Above the table and under the same lamp I also have the last two Sweet Tooth plants. Above the table, but lit by the other lamp there are the Gorilla Glue and the Lemon AK that were inside the grow room and I had fimmed, while to follow there is the largest Gorilla Glue which is now 160 cm high. The second LSD-25, the Zkittlez and the Six Shooter fimmed remain in the grow room. August 21: Only new pics
