01/01/2022 Potting up and amending with 5-2-4 to give a little kick before mid flower #6 is first girl to show herself, also got two different males and only difference is that one is lighter green and other darker green (also dark green one seems to drink more than lighter green) ๐Ÿ’š. Other than that structure is very similar I wonder which is a better breeding male? I guess I might pollinate and LABEL TWO BRANCHES ON each female one for each male. and find out.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป 01/06/2022 #3 showed today, reppoted and into flowering closet, along with#6,who showed earlier this week lights at 14-10 see how they respond to that schedule, which should help use up the 5-2-4 going into week 3 should help with her stretch. Which isn't really that much I believe maybe double her current height, which I will check at lights on.Week ,#3 if I think of it I'll give a good fungal dominant tea.

This Week i let them just continue to grow out of the LST. Last Day of the Week i cut down all the lower branches and defuliated the leaves. First Week of Flower and the Plant shows some nice female Flower-pistols. This Week i started with the Flower Feeding, i gave her about 4 tsp Seabird Guano as Topdress Feeding, it got a NPK of 7-4-5 so not idial for Flower but i guess Perfect for Streching-phase. Please Let me Know if you do Lollipop your Autoflowers ?? i was pretty unsure if i should do it but i was afraid that if i didn't do it it would cause problems cause of the ventilation. Hope you like the Grow so far !

12 days after the switch Tropicanna Banana shows her sex and officially begins flowering. On day 28 I started with the Bio Heaven and Acti Vera stimulators, although the soil is prefertilized for only 2 weeks, the girls are in perfect shape and for now they don't need fertilizers. I inserted wooden supports in the grow to reduce the effect of negative pressure, it took away important space for growing. This week i've stopped using the humidifier.

Day 47 has been a rough week seven days of 32c + outdoors and same in the tent. I did order some Orius 100 to sort out my bug problem , but they have been delayed due to the heat. Coming along well . The two on the right of the tent are the Tangie Monkey and the left is two Bananangie.

We have 3 clones, 2 just regular clones taken in veg and 1 clone a few weeks later once in the early budding of the flower. Will be a good side-by-side visual comparison of the benefits of monstercropping. They have been kept at a minimal photosynthetic rate for 3-4 weeks under predominantly blue light ๐Ÿ’™ to try to shorten internodal spacing. (Yes it could be faster) No rushhhhh. Starting diary at week 1 germination but in reality, they are fully stabilized and at least a month old. Just to get stuck right in I decided to super crop the base of the stem early hoping it creates a strong knuckle. This may backfire incredibly, only time will tell. Also topped it too, never topped a flower bud before but oh well, if this wee plant survives it's gonna be something. Initially, I wanted to start it in a regular pot as this creates a solid rootball base before upsizing it to air-pots.

Not much to show this week on the timelapse as we had a cold snap and power went out momentarily, and as such, the camera stopped recording, without me realizing this. So I have also added a little video of the rooms progress. Even with the small bit of footage, I can see that my feeding schedule twice a day seems to keep the leaves from drooping at any time in the video, so I will be keeping this going as is, checking the PH every couple of days and topping up the nutes bucket as needed. I am noticing some leaves dying, but they seem to be mostly ones that are not getting enough light and I am removing them as I go. The upper leaves and buds are looking strong so far, and just a touch of smell in the room. The colas are also starting to thicken and my fingers are getting sticky and stinky when working around them. Looking at the plants from a normal distance, they don't look very crystally, but the close up shots really are making them shine. After taking the pics, I like to zoom in on them and see all the crystals.

๐ŸŒธ Mentha de Croco | Week 2 Flower (Week 13 from Seed) Grow Style: Indoor | Medium: Pro-Mix HP | Feed Program: Aptus Holland Clean Program | Genetics: Mentha de Croco by Terpyz Genetics Lighting: FOG LED Black Series | Controller: TrolMaster Photoperiod: 11/13 (Light/Dark) Camera: Sony A6000 capturing all the vibes โธป This week marks a major chapter in our Mentha de Croco mutant hunt: the second week of flower โ€” and the official reveal of whoโ€™s who in the garden. As expected with regular seeds, we had both males and females, and this was the week we identified them all. From the original 12 beans, 5 revealed themselves as proud ladies while the rest โ€” equally stunning in structure and expression โ€” turned out to be males. ๐ŸŒฟ ๐Ÿ’š Letโ€™s talk about regular seeds and plant sex: Regular seeds are unsexed, meaning they can become either male or female. Itโ€™s a 50/50 genetic roll of the dice โ€” and with unique mutant genetics like these, identifying sex isnโ€™t always easy early on. Males typically show small pollen sacs, often referred to as โ€œbananasโ€ in their early stage. Females develop pistils, the first hairs of the flowers weโ€™re after. Male plants, while beautiful and structurally fascinating (especially in this mutant project), can compromise a flowering room if left unchecked. Their pollen can fertilize female plants, leading to seeded buds โ€” great if breeding, not great for clean flower. So, we say goodbye, thank them for their beauty, and move forward with the ladies to full bloom. The males? Theyโ€™ll return to the earth as beautiful compost. ๐ŸŒฑโœจ โธป This Weekโ€™s Feeding Schedule (Aptus Holland Clean Program): โ€ข Regulator โ€“ Strengthening cell walls and stress resistance โ€ข System Clean โ€“ Sanitizing the water lines (preventative, even if not in a system) โ€ข RO Water Conditioner โ€“ Prepping and balancing the base โ€ข All-in-One Liquid โ€“ Increased dose this week to 1.5 ml/L โ€ข Breakout Powder โ€“ Boosting early flower development โ€ข EC: 1.26 โ€ข pH: 6.0 โ€ข Water Temp: 18.6ยฐC โธป ๐ŸŒฟ Canopy Update: All plants are now under SCROG netting โ€” not because these particular girls needed it, but because they share the space with other cultivars. Itโ€™s all about harmony in the garden. The stretch is beginning, and the light intensity has been dialed up to match โ€” PPFD around 800. Weโ€™re thrilled to see some early floral development already peeking through. The ladies are loving the new rhythm, and itโ€™s clear theyโ€™re ready to shine in this next stage. โธป ๐Ÿ“ธ Captured Moments: This weekโ€™s shots include closeups of the male flowers for educational purposes, so the community can see what early male traits look like โ€” especially in complex, mutant-style expressions. All captured with the Sony A6000 under those rich contrasts of dark and light. โธป ๐Ÿ™ Shout Outs & Love: Much love and thanks to the brilliant minds at Terpyz Genetics for the wild beauty of these beans, Aptus Holland for the clean and powerful nutrition, TrolMaster for the precision control, and Future of Grow for the innovation we grow under. And of course โ€” endless gratitude to the Grow Diaries community, the growers, the learners, the lovers and even the haters โ€” itโ€™s all energy, and it all fuels the passion. ๐Ÿ’š ๐Ÿ“ฒ Donโ€™t forget to follow the journey on Instagram and YouTube โ€” always sharing the love and the lessons ๐ŸŒ Genetics - Mentha De Croco Nutrition - @aptusholland https://aptus-holland.com/ Led Power @ F.O.G. Pretty happy with this girl. She dit well in the hot conditions and recovered well with some incidents that accord in the veg stage. The denseness of the bud is like a cricket ball. Rock hard and packing the grinder full. The some is delicious. Cured her for 1 month and she was ripping in a joint. Had plenty fun and energetic moments with sativa. Will be growing this girl soon again with no hiccups ๐Ÿ”ฅ Shouts to fast buds for this naughty strain

Well week 19 and week 9 of flower did start Monday 10/11 but because of my delay in update last week I waited a bit to start the week. The smell is freaking AMAZING!!! Got to sample some more cured stuff and I absolutely love it!!! Still bummed the Black Widow never made it but hopefully next time. The mothers are all flushed, the temps are down, the humidity is down. I'm thinking about dimming the light a bit to see if it helps with ripening. In truth, this grow was all an experiment, lol. Mistakes were made but learned from. But the most important thing is I had alot of fun this time around. There was minimal stress/pressure which I believe is a major part in growing. I feel I really connected with the universe with this! My ultimate goal is quality first, then quantity. Quality will always be one of the pillars of life! I can't get a good pic of the trichomes but there's a decent amount of amber and will be ready for harvest on 10/20 ๐ŸŒ• That's pretty much it, just a waiting, lol. Happy growing everyone โœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿ€โœŒ๏ธ

I have got 10 of female seeds white widow x big bud and i am super siked to watch these girls grow, expecting some big yeilds and that white widow smoke ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ we have a 1.5x1.5x2.0m light out max tent, the girls will be under 1 250w mh bulb for the first few weeks then will had another 250w mh when they are a little bigger for the rest of the duration of veg, sadly gangster bulb had other plans and will need to be started under our sunblaster t5 light for the next 24 hours! The girls are planted in just basic seedling pots in coco, we will be using coco nutes throughout the grow and the girls will be started on canna start next week :) we have a humidifier, just a simple Argos basic, making sure the humidity is where we need it to be ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ˜Ž we are currently formenting some natural co2 for the girls, we used a 2L bottle, 2 sachets of yest that you can find in any of your local supermarkets, half a bag of sugar and some warm water, will add a video next week on how to make this if anyone is intrested ๐Ÿ˜ glad to be back with you guys, welcome to jiegrow and I hope to see you next week๐Ÿ‘‹

She took 5 days to germinate!! Day 1 - Mon 8th March She has sprouted but still has a helmet. Will give a few more days to see if she breaks free herself if not Iโ€™ll give her some help!! ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ Very happy to have her sprout though I was getting worried!! Day 2 - Tue 9th March Sheโ€™s managed to break free from her casing with a little help from me. Gave her a little more water and her leaves are starting to open. Day 3 - Wed 10th March Looking this morning she is growing but she has white on one leaf. Sheโ€™s also wrapped her self in a clear substance not too sure what that could be? Any thoughts? Tried to get pictures best I could. Happy growing! Day 4 - Thursday 11th March (Her nick name is Nemo) so from the pictures youโ€™ll see sheโ€™s got an underdeveloped leaf but aside from this she is growing well. Day 5 - Friday 12th March Nothing new to updated today really. Have a good weekend!!! ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿ

Plant 2 harvested 8.5 weeks from seed to harvest Plant 1 harvested 9 weeks from seed to harvest These ones swelled up and grew at lightning speed compared to the rest... wish that third seed had germinated now ;) I'm putting Ripper Seeds autos up in the top spot for now, 100% - this and Zombie Kush auto grow last year have been huge yields and really fast to grow. They just have these immense top colas (for those who prefer to leave the plant untouched - I don't do anything to my plants, no defoliation, LST, etc. Mostly because I'm really lazy when it comes to these things.
