June 29: watered with compost tea. Bacteria in these teas seem to help hold the water and I don’t need to water this too often or too much. Did a foliar spray of potassium silicate and soluble seaweed extract. Fast growth phase happening now. June 30: forecast for next week is hot and the week after is a bit hotter. Having made it through the cold spring, the plants should get a lot bigger over the next couple weeks. July 1: nice fast growth now 👍👍 July 4: did foliar spray of Extreme Blend in the morning. July 5: she’s doing great with strong vegetative growth. After the last round of topping the fan leaves got quite a bit bigger and the growth tips have been a bit slower to start growing than on my other photoperiod. Looking nice and green and growing fast. Waiting a few more days before starting another scrog layer. She has grown 7 inches this week. Day 60 Day 25 Flower She has really taken off, dominated the tent already nearly 😂🤦‍♂️ Blue nerdz no where near as big as this Kong auto. Bud sites developing, pistils flying off everywhere fully loaded, resin production under way, I'll get a few good macros later. Stretch has finished I hope 😂 She seems to have slowed down abit this week and focused on flower production. Day 62 Day 27 Flower - had to really bring the lst down and tighter on her again, I believe her stretch is almost over as her bud development is now well under way 🙌✌️💚

Flush time! I don't pump loads of water through each pot any more, now they're sitting on a tray without drainage. I've found feeding non ph'd water in the same amounts I've been giving them throughout still allows them to cannibalise, locking out any nutrients immediately now they're being given non ph'd water. I've done this for long enough to be able to confirm no difference in the overall flush, the taste or smell, or a negative impact on the plants. Personally I find it a waste of time and ph down when the goal is to stop them feeding on the nutrients in the medium, but rather the nutrients stored in the plant. I always feed only water for 2-3 weeks, never less. The Runtz are swelling, with huge cola's on some of them. Even the little Runtz runts have stacked well and getting thick! Unfortunately only getting an earthy, piney smell from all of them. Was expecting a nice strong fruity profile, so a bit disappointed. The huge flowers make up for it a bit, but I do prefer a more tastier smoke, I can't deny! 🦊

Day 83 Day 41 Flower This Royal Creamatic has done amazingly well. I'm very impressed royal queen seeds!! She has finalised, soil has returned to dry, I also did 24hrs of darkness on last day to help boost trichome development, not sure if worked or not but she is very tasty looking! Trichomes now seeing amber and pinks they look amazing, the smell is unreal, a caramel sweet hint then BANG straight gas to the nose and throat 😂 safe to say she'll be a hitter 💪💚 Overall I'm impressed with what I achieved from a 3gal fabric pot, on a whim I threw 3 seeds in, kept 2. Topped one, and found this strain prefers to just have lst and support during flower as she does present some dense flowers 🙌 I have a wet bud weight of 570g. Trimmed wet buds are 423g Wet trim 47g I will be hanging for 7-10 days, possibly 14 due to size of nuggets 😅. I'll update dry weight then 🤞 Bud dry weight 287g!! It smells incredible! Gassy, pungent straight to the nose, but then it's a sweet caramel / vanilla tone. Smoking - 😍😋, damn, my partner only had 4-8drags normally, but she described this one as a caramel biscuit ice cream, that tasted that good she smoked past the high 🤦‍♂️😂🤣🚀🚀 She was off, half a joint and done. Giggles, munchies, sex sleep. I enjoyed. It on the other hand, straight the eyes, dry throat, munchies as soon as stubbed out. Then we had amazing connection s+x 😁. Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. The ladies had another great week, I got the Durban Nights, Red Hot Cookies, and Sundae Driverr's second toppings completed on day 26, and I got the second toppings done on the Green Crack and Bubble Runtz on day 27. Right now I have 4 mains on each plant, and I will top each one this week, probably in the next 3-4 days which will leave with me 8 mains. So the mainlines will be completed during week 5, and I plan to flip to flower around week 7. I am still seeing a couple holes on the leaves of the Sundae Driver, but I have treated her twice with neem oil and I don't see any new holes since the last application and I can't see any bugs even with magnification. I am still not sure if it was a bug issue or just a genetic thing. Either way I am not too concerned at this point because they all seem to be very healthy. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients approximately one week after flipping to flower. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very pleased with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. Day 64 🌤️🌥️☁️☁️ 11-19 degrees and the humidity is around 65%. I started into the tenth week with an intense check of the main buds. Some of the trichomes are milky but the most are still clear. Maybe I‘m wrong. Some days ago I could spot some amber trichomes but the flowers expanded and it‘s not possible to find anymore amber ones. Watered 500ml pure rainwater. Day 65 🌤️☁️🌥️☁️ Today Tropicana needs a rest. She just want to sit and do nothing except waiting for sunshine warming her heart. In the evening she asked for water, potting soil lost enough weight. 600ml with 60ml light fermented flower and herb tee. ~100 ml drainage with PH 6,2. In the main flower it was possible to find a small amount of amber trichomes. Day 66 🌤️⛅️🌤️🌤️ 10-21 degrees, humidity 45-65%. This morning I understood, that Tropicana was not thirsty yesterday, she need to breath oxygen with her roots to feel happy. The beautiful smell is way not so intense since last night. I missed the strong smell when I opened the door to our balcony in the early morning. So no watering yesterday would be better. And my banana peel tee is not free of nitrogen, same with the herb and flower tee. Less is more will be written in my diary in the next days (weeks). Watching Trichome TV: I see more amber and I see that she needs more time after all this stress which I made for her. She told me that she is not only sick of water, she told me, that she hate to be moved all the time, too. Every move from A to B she would loose tiny roots and this would stress her a lot. When I checked the moisture I spotted too many of this root fly castings. Their mamas and papas had their orgie about a week ago and now they are eating the mulch layer roots as if there will be no morning. This is not Tropicanas day. But the sun is shining and tomorrow will be another day. Hopefully with a nose full of this tasty fruity and woody citrus smell. Day 67 🌧️☁️☁️☁️ 13-19 degrees, humidity 42-80%. This morning the smell was more intensive like yesterday but still not like before. The leafs show the first signs of fading and I‘m very nervous. This night will fall a lot of rain for several hours. But a part of our balcony is canopied, so Tropicana will be a little bit protected by me this night. I don‘t want to make another mistake, so I use this possibility. Anyway the plants are always wet after a strong rain, it‘s just a little canopy, but not soaked with water. Day 68 🌧️☁️⛅️🌤️ 15-21 degrees and the humidity is 74-85%. Tropicana feels better. The smell this morning was much more intensive then the days before. Day 69 ⛅️🌤️🌥️☁️ 15-22 degrees, humidity 46-89%. Tropicanas flowers are swelling and while she is maturing her smell is getting more intense and complex. Right now mandarin and an earthy woody smell, sometimes even a bit sour like a mixture of pineapple and lime juice. It‘s possible to find new colors in the flowers. There’s purple and pink, orange and ocher brown appeared. Tropicanas main flower looks like the harvest time is near, but the trichomes are still clear and just started to get milky. Anyway she is incredible fast, especially if to remember the extrem conditions with minimal temperature around ten degrees in the early mornings. Day 70 🌧️☁️☁️🌧️ 17-23 degrees, humidity 63-94%. In the next days we will have humid thunderstorm weather. There is even a warning for huge hailstones for tomorrow. So there is a risk of damage and mold because of high humidity. I will have an eye on this. Tropicana looks healthy, so I‘m not worrying too much anymore.

Harvesting was a breeze. 350g dry weight but I didn’t weight it wet… The smell is to die for! So lemony at first but the gassy comes through after. By far my best auto grow!

With spectacular colors and aromas that ... mmmmmm already make you dizzy I'm sure we'll re-propose this delicious plant on a large scale!

April 27 - May 2 This week I didn't think that she would bulk up anymore, but she absolutely did. Fat and sticky. Even the buds under the canopy got fat and super frosty. The only problem is that they are light green because they hardly have any light from no defoliation. The purple color change is crazy. People said it's from the strain and cool temps. Anyway, She's on the last stretch and about to be on her way to graduation. Wish her luck 🤞.

The plant has officially outgrown the cabinet. I have a tent on order and will move her in as soon as it arrives. So many bud sites. This strain continues to impress.

Stackn n gettn stinky. Every strain has sum kinda fruity note. The gorilla blue has the most distinct blueberry smell that Ive come across so far. The D has a fruity/floral thing goin on. The wedding cake is given me a fruit cocktail smell and so on amd so on. Started to see fungas gnats. Got cocky from last run amd didnt get nematodes, so mosquito dunks it is. Think im gonna top dress with some of the leftover dirt still in the tote this week and being done with it. Water n recharge til its done.
