Flipmode! Went and got a grow tent and flipped the Green Crack and her sisters to 12/12. Running my old mars-hydro light for this flowering run, until I have the $ saved for a new Samsung strip build. Removed the largest fan leaves from GC, other than that she's looking happy. Beginning of week 3 of flower. Should be nearing the end of the stretch but if she can give just a little more we will get the screen full! Should be a great week will add more pics!

Start of week 5. It looks good to me, healthy but I thought it would stretch a little more. At the beginning of this adventure I had problems with fungus gnats, which I thought had already been resolved but it isn't, there aren't many of them and they aren't harming the plant, at least for now.

03/20/2022 Biscotti Skunk looking lovely first four pictures.next up is lemon OG,followed by the three Grape Skunk girls middle one is my favorite so far (Middle in height) I did a light feeding of fish and seaweed, a little extra something just incase they get hungry in final weeks.

July 20: smoke arrived this morning to go with our heat wave. Awesome. Extra watering, misting air, and wetting the sides of the grow bags with hose water to keep things cooler and hydrated. So far so good in the heat. Did foliar spray of Extreme Blend and potassium silicate. Also note that for all my grows I use apple cider vinegar for pH adjustment and a Dr Bronners liquid soap as a wetting agent (surfactant). Euphoria is doing great, but to ensure that it finishes early enough for this latitude (53N) where the UV light gets very weak after mid-August, I’m starting the force flowering tonight. Already starting to flower but I want a strong flower set and as much flower growth under strong sunlight as possible. Force flowering schedule is 2-3 weeks of in dark garage at 9 pm followed by 730 nm far red light and then back out at 7 am. The light initiates dark mode 2 h faster so it’s like having a 26 h day. Good trick use as a bloom booster, also moves up the finish 2-4 weeks. So, 10+2 is 12 h dark and 14 h daylight. Might sound bogus but it works. July 21: first night of force flowering caused a big stretch. Notably stretched after darkness in hot garage overnight. Hot outside overnight too but was much hotter inside garage and recorded here as 24 C. Seems okay and high overnight temperature might be ideal at this early flowering stage. Warm overnight temperatures continue for a few more days. July 22: record hot overnight low forecast for tonight of 24 C and feels like 27 C with humidity. Wow, that is really incredible for here and 13 C above historic average. July 26: six days into flowering and she is doing fine. 👍👍

so i let the plants veg out for another week (per my girlfriends recommendations). here's a plug to CocoForCannabis.com, I learned a lot there and I give a lot of credit to high frequency fertigation in coco. I defoliated twice just this week, and within a day or two all of the leaves have come back. i did one large defoliation today as I plan to flip to flower on Tuesday. I'll let all these grow vertical and then I'll do one final cleaning at the end of week two. I'm loving these barneys farm genetics - the plants are strong, and I'm getting the craziest lemon scent - like lemon candy. not a lot of skunk coming through yet, but I'm sure that will come in flower. i also cracked on of these plants right down the main stem when doing the quadline LST, and it just powered straight through and didn't even show and stress signs. full credit to the genetics on that one. included some before, during and after pics of defolation. unfortunately my timelapse got messed up AGAIN (stupid wyze cameras) so I only was able to pull like two days, but you can see some of the daily quadline training and how fast they flip back up and grow out

WEEK 24-30 March. Finally a new space for the girls, on an homemade recirculating system that I named AQUALOOP, consisting in 2 drippers connected to a water flow system added with air. Air is also blown directly into the substrate and into the reservoir !

She's coming along nicely considering the weather. She seems happy enough on the greenhouse. Added monkey nutrients boost this week to help her on her way. Didn't realise I had a pit inside a pot. Now I have long ass roots to deal with lol

Left her to start regenerate and came back to better development than I thought side branches are now streaching out nicely and the one I topped worked nicely and is starting to grow at regular pace and the top node I FIMimed 2 baby nodes are popping out and nodes below very healthy and streaching outwards and one top node fell off but the 2 underneath are streaching strongly

This diary will be special to me for two reasons, one because I have the opportunity to cultivate some new and exciting strains from two of the TOP breeders in the industry! The second reason this will be special to me is that I will be growing these two strains in a brand new greenhouse that I put up! I'm super stoked to see how these two ladies turn out in this new setup. On to the strains: 'Tester' Strain A info: Hybrid (I/S) | 6-7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Sweet, Candy 'Tester' Strain B info: Indica-Dominant (90%) | 7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Peppery, Sweet I hope that you enjoy this run as much as I will... It's going to be fun and interesting for sure! ~GROW WHAT YOU LOVE, LOVE WHAT YOU GROW!~ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: These beauties will be growing in a brand spanking new 10x14' greenhouse that I have equipped with automatic window openers, a complement of Hurricane fans and a de-humidifier/heater to help keep the environment as dialed in as possible. I started both tester in glasses of tap water, where they soaked for 24hrs. After soaking, they were placed directly into whole eggshells with just their tops removed to make a natural seed starting pot that I filled with a 70/30 blend of Coco/Perlite which was pre-moistened with well water ph'd to 6.2, then placed under a 50w full spectrum LED on a 24hr light schedule. Once, they both have their second set of leaves emerged, I plan on starting to put them in the greenhouse for 2-3 hour a day for a few days to help them acclimate and 'harden off' in the greenhouse. I'll be starting both off in 1qt pots, then transplanting them into to gradually larger pots until they're around 6 weeks old, then they will go into their final pots which are 25g fabric pots. I mix my initial medium using 3 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics 4-4-4 along with 1 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics Glacial Rock Dust for the trace minerals it provides, 1 tbsp/g of Down To Earth Kelp Meal, 1 tbsp/g of Trichoderma/Mycorrhizae, and 1 cup/g of Wiggle Worm Castings. I hand mix my amendments to ensure an even distribution throughout the medium. I'll be watering with well water ph'd to 6.2-6.8 and providing bi-weekly compost tea's throughout the run. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 6/9- Here we go into the eighth week of vegetation for the two 'Testers' from Dutch Passion/SSSC and they are both growing fast and the 'Tester B' is getting tall! 6/11- Daytime temperatures outside are now hitting 90℉, and the greenhouse temps are pushing 100℉. I have plenty of air circulating using 4 fans and I'm probably going to put a shade tarp over the greenhouse if the weather continues to get any warmer. 6/13- Daily waterings continue with 2g of well water that is ph'd to between 6.2-6.7 @ 72℉ along with weekly Compost Teas. Despite the excessive heat, both 'Testers' have shown absolutely ZERO signs of any stress whatsoever which is a testament to the superior genetics in both! 6/15- Eight weeks of veg are in the rear view mirror and I'm looking forward to the coming weeks to see how these gorgeous ladies begin to slowly transition into their 'pre-flower' stage. Day 63 This plant is clearly behind the other Frostbanger . The buds are forming but they’re lighter and not as dense, and overall she just doesn’t have the same strength. I’ve noticed the leaves showing signs of calcium and magnesium deficiency for a while now – rusty spots, interveinal yellowing, and some crispy edges on the older fan leaves. Even after adding Cal/Mag supplements, the damage on the lower leaves is already visible and won’t recover, though the new growth looks a bit healthier. Despite the issues, the plant is still pushing through and producing some nice flowers. The pistils are starting to change color and a few trichomes are cloudy, but she’s definitely not as frosty or swollen as the stronger plants. The smell is there, just not as intense. I’ll let her go to see how much more she can develop, but I don’t expect the same yield. At this point it’s more about finishing her properly and learning from the deficiency for the next run.

Update - 4th July 2021 Just still flushing away. The colours that are coming out are crazy. I have edited some pics but not videos and the videos dont really pick up the colour. Its strange that it started completely green and then went darker and darker until it reached purple buds covered in trichomes. I am planning on harvesting both this plant and the purple punch today or tomorrow depending on when i can be bothered lol Tbh, its not hard because i dry trim so it's just a case of plucking off the fan leaves and hanging it in different branches.
