On Feb 24 applied LST, girls responded perfectly. Leaves tucking on daily basis. 2 watering with 1L each on Feb 24th (half nutrients dose) and second one on Feb 28 alongside with 2 foliar feedings(100ml water and fish mix). So far this grow is just a pure joy. Both girls are strong and healthy. pH was important as expected and a bit of light burn later on in the grow but ultimately it was pretty smooth sailing. I used a very common nutrient (GHE) and not overly strong. Buds were thick, dense, and moderately pine smelling. The plant did not grow excessively tall thanks to LST, and the LST did not seem to have any ill effects at all. Foliage was thick, and I let it go for a very long time before doing any sort of defoliation. Even then it was modest and just to get light to the lower colas. Still in trimming mode and will continue to update :) Also, other plants in the house got spider mites. Not this one. Could have been that it was in hydro and others weren't but hard to say.

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. The Strawberry Banana is doing well, I am just doing some LST every couple of days, and she is just starting to stretch. She is still feeding on silica, cal mag, and maxi grow veg nutes by GHE. She seem to be loving this Medic Grow Spectrum X, which I am now running at 70% and also running the UV/IR bars for 1 hour before lights off. I also did a light defoliation this week to allow some airflow and her to focus more energy on the upper branches. I will continue to with LST and veg nutrients until the vertical growth stops, then I will transition her to flower nutrients, and change her lighting to the red spectrum. Good week so far. 😎 Ups and downs,but learning tons along the ride.🤓 The plants are responding well to the flushing (yes flushed again) color is much better and just the general appearance looks good after 2 days. 💪🌱💪 Lst seems to have been received well, no extra stress to these girls. 🙏 Will continue to update with pics and vids throughout the week.

Can see the buds getting more dense. I think having the bottom light will prove to be beneficial for those lower buds.

Week 3 -A big week of growth and training. -Started with calcium deficiency but ended the week having it fixed. -They are getting thirstier by the day. I have been top feeding so far but looks like I may begin using the autopot reservoir in week 4. --Feeling iffy about it to be honest. I never liked water sitting in the tray... Day 30 - LST'd Day 36 - SCROGGED. Was gonna do it on day 1 of week 4 (day 37) but was to eager to get it done. Not gonna lie, I know the canopy is hella low and I did that on purpose. I'm anxious about height as my tent is only 5 feet high and I want to keep a consistent 2 ft gap between the lights and colas throughout this grow season.

F16, gran defoliación y armado de la estructura de tutores, se puede ver cómo la luz pasa de manera uniforme hasta el fondo de los maceteros, antes de la defoliación el fondo del macetero se veía con sombra, oscuro. Se puede apreciar que aunque estamos iniciando la tercera semana de floración, ya hay presencia de tricomas. Las plantas se ven muy saludables.

As expected the signs of deficiency started to dissappear once the roots were formed D19: topped #1 D21: did some cleaning of the roots of #1 D22: topped #2 and switched the light to 20/4

The plant looks good. In these days the temperature outside are very cold (about 5 celsius), but in the box there is a electric radiator connected to a control unit (inkbird): every time the temperature goes under 20.7 C the radiator turn on. Yesterday I broke the holding pulley of the lamp😰 so I had to hold it with a wire. it will remain that way for 2 days, I've already bought a new pulley from internet. Anyway I defoliated the purple punch to bring the light to the apicals. Every 3 days it puts out new leaf, incredible! I used 10ml of flora grow , 6ml of flora micro (hard water) 5ml of flora bloom and 5 ml of cal-mag directly in the solution edit: I resolved the problem with the lamp. I top up the solution with 10l of water in wich I put 20ml of flora grow, 12ml of flora micro, 6ml of flora bloom and 10ml of cal-mag. I also used 10ml of pH- directly in the solution to lower the level of the pH (6.3-6.4 at the moment). Everything look ok😀

Hello and thank you for stopping by, it is now day 28 in 2x4 closet and things are going very smoothly I'm watering still with a pH of 6.5 when dry. I'm having minor issues with Gnat larvae in my coco and I am going to solve the issue by watering with neem oil for the next couple weeks. I will also be trying out some hydrogen peroxide in my water at a 4:1 ratio if the neem oil fails to control the larvae. My first top dress will be in about 7 days and I am going to be doing some low stress training this week stay tuned ☺️

8/23 - End of Week 3. Going to start some top feeding at like half strength for the Fox Farm Soil schedule in next few days. Drinking well and consistently from the self-watering bases. Bugs seem to be under control but will probably add some bits to the bases to make sure the gnats don't resurface. Stalk is strong and looking good and a good amount of new growth after taking some fan leaves off yesterday to "top". CO2 levels looking a little better, opened another vent in the tent. 8/22 - Adjusted light down to 80% after getting a lux meter and checking the intensity. Soil PH is slighly acidic at 6.1. Got some phUp and phDown but haven't adjusted yet. Trimmed top 4 fan leaves to stall out the top stalk and open up the bottom branches a bit. Added a mushroom exhale bag to increase co2 levels, were sitting around 500 ppm before I added. 8/21 - Still drying out the self-watering base a bit, will add water today. Sides of fabric pot still a bit wet to the touch but I think that's just the active wicking going on. Thought the initial canoe'ing leaves were from overwatering when overfilling the self-watering base but now I think it has more to do w/ some shock from the thrips and 24 hour light, or perhaps a bit of sunburn from being sprayed w/ the neem oil / bug killer. 8/16 - Had to fight off some thrips and still dialing in the tent conditions. Might be a little overwatered currently.

Week went again very uneventful. The plant does what she is supposed to be doing (gaining weight) :). Still lots of new pistils appearing overnight, I am checking the Trichomes daily, however, everything remains milky, with only very little % of amber trichomes. Once amber colours start increasing I will start flushing.

OK, im doing an update now becouse my breakup cake is going tranny!!(hermie) I already have noiticed she was not growing as strong .. but u can blame that on anything , especially when growing outdoor.. but this morning i saw that she was g(r)oing 'bananas'!😢 I have put her aside from the rest (in the back of garden) but think gonna have to terminate her asap!..(and i will, right after this post👍) The weed she will give will be filled with seeds and those seeds will be hermies too, so wothless.. and if i dont throw her away quick she can infect the rest. So goodbye breakup cake..😢 who wants to eat a cake when they are breaking up anyway..😒 (just hiding my pain with lame humour 😳) happy growing for all ✊

So I'm seeing some yellow tips, also on the new growth and I'm a little surprised because I'm not feeding that much tbh...at least I think I'm not.... reading up a bit, not sure if its nute burn or something else... got some cal-mag anyway , seeing i'll need it soon.. Tthe Northern Lights is going up like crazy! it has a completely different 'build' to it, much wider and distances then the more compact Diesel. Held off on the feeding, just distilled water ...but maybe 'll just switch to tap water, leaving it outside for a night or two...no more root booster....seems a little redundant.

Our beautiful girls have plant louses 😱 So yesterday we made a brew of garlic and sprinkeld all of the plants, also the ground of the growbox - after cleaning up everything. So we hope this works. Have anyone experience with the small green monsters? We would be grateful for some suggestions.
