Day 28: I got home from 10 days of holidays and these girls had cruised along as if I had been there with them the whole time. They are very happy, especially the middle one. The small one on the right has always been small, is what it is. She could be a stack little shorty. Time will tell. I did a feed today, top dressed according to Gaia Green at 15 ml/ gal of media which should last approx 2 weeks. I also added a bit more 444 just to make sure there’s enough N during this stretch phase. All 3 have pistols showing and are starting to flower. I was unable to train as much as I’d have liked but is what it is. Sometimes the more indica strains I’ve done are negatively effected by topping and excess training. I removed a couple huge fans that were shading too much of the plant. I also am trying a “super cropping” of top fans to get them out of the way but still save them as a nute source if they need. We’ll see how it goes. The Vipar spectra xs2000 is killling it as usual. As I’ve said 50 times it’s super powerful and I’ve had to raise the light above recommended height as I started to see leaf edge curl and light stress. No problem at all tho, better too powerful and raise it than too weak and have loose buds. I did a micro top just to stop excessive apical meristem stretch and leaving all the other lower branches too low for effective light absorption or burn on the top cola. Happy Growing 🌱

Esta semana añadimos nuevos nutrientes y dejamos fuera el Nutritrech "preventivo" que lo vamos alternando una semana si o otra no. Siendo una semilla feminizada autofloreciente principalmente indica, esta muy presente de la Ruderalis por sus zonas internodales cortas. Además, su tallo central se desarrolla lentamente.

November 16, day 28, Scrog and irrigation installed. With the net installed it's a little tricky (though possible) to hand water, so automatic watering is a nice quality of life improvement. Growth is very tight, maybe a little better suited to sog techniques. Smell is powerful for it's young age. Earliest signs of flowering have begun. Royal Gorilla Automatic: Checked out some similar grow diaries and came to the conclusion that she's definitely in shock as she's lagging behind quite a bit. Last week I diagnosed the plant with some deficiencies (mg/mn/calc), possibly caused by the soil's PH being to acidic. To counter this, I started the week by topdressing the plant with some fresh soil, quite a bit of kelp meal (to raise PH and supply the plant with calcium and magnesium) and some worm compost. This time I watered the plant without adding lactobacillus. This seems to have been effective seeing as the plant has restarted growing . Buds are finally starting to dense up, trichomes are finally forming and the plant is starting to look healthy again. Still waiting on the smell though. Added some bone meal at the end of the week to try and get the buds to dense up some more. Solomatic: Plant is looking great, showing no signs of nutrient deficiencies. Her buds are getting quite dense and the trichomes are present and sticky as fuck. She has a nice haze like smell to her, which I really like. Although she isn't showing any signs of deficiencies I did add a tiny bit of kelp meal and worm compost at the start of the week, followed by some bone meal at the end of the week. Normally I wouldn't add fertilizer this close to harvest, but I have a feeling I can get the buds to dense up even more this way. Will probably give her another week and a flush before I harvest her. Stress Killer: The healthiest plant of the bunch, showing absolutely no signs of deficiencies or stress. The sweet smell is present, yet not (yet) overwhelming. Her buds are getting really dense and the trichomes are everywhere and super sticky. Added some fresh soil, some worm compost and a bit of kelp meal at the start of the week, followed by some bone meal at the end of the week. She should normally grow for about 10-12 weeks, so I'm expecting her to fatten up like crazy now. Can't wait to smoke this one.

Training has been continued. She is developing very nicely. As of today she has been switched to 12/12, as the net starts to get busy and anticipating another stretch I thought it would be time.

Day 18 - FIM cut made. Day 20 - Transplant to 38 litre airpot. Day 21 - She is growing the most by far. I'm expecting a big jump in growth in the next few weeks.

En la 6ta semana de vegetación hicimos una poda de bajos y desfoliación en general para potenciar el crecimiento de los brotes superiores, mejorando la iluminación y ventilación en el cultivo. También hicimos unos cuantos amarres (lst).

So being my 1st hydro/RDWC grow and it’s been ages since I’ve had photoperiods I flipped to flower a little on the early side to be safe. With each grow the more I learn the more I’ll push but, for now I’m playing it safe. The Growbuds trellis nets helped out a lot being my 1st time using! Gotta say I’m loving them.
