This plant is really starting to pack on bud size now. Pistils are still nice and white so she has a long ways to go yet. Dinafem never ceases to amaze. 😎🍿🍻🌱

May 26; entering week 4 so things will start happening soon. First few weeks it always looks like nothing is happening. Cool overnight temperatures also keep the growth a bit slow, but the weather is good and I’m sure there will be a big growth spurt very soon. Did weekly foliar spray of Extreme Blend from Kelp4less.com May 30: small watering with some Natures Source and molasses. Pretty warm at 27 C and Thunderstorm came at 9 pm. Plants had their hats on for protection. Nice rain with some serious thunder. ⛈️⛈️ May 31: another warm day with an evening thunderstorm. Plants protected. June 1: they got rained on today.

Going into darkness within next few days for 48hours.. She smells amazing. Buds appear very dense. Overall very pleased. A few things I should have done differently but none the less a good grow. Today is day 61 from light switch.

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. 5-3 Bud growth continues and buds are starting to form together to make bigger colas. Also starting to see more trichs and the smell is getting stronger and sticky.

I was extremely happy with this grow. I was aiming for 1 lbs and I achieved 1.43 lbs total. The strain is a simple grow for anyone that can keep the environment on point. They are susceptible to pests, so a bit of previous experience in treating bugs is a plus. There seems to be either a rogue strain or a very special pheno within my garden. One plant showed a deep purple color starting in week 5 of flower. It grew out to some stanky and solid golf ball sized colas. Im keeping this stuff separate for the cure, as it is exotic looking and smokes like a dream. The Scroggernaut performed well. I was initially concerned that I would have issues trying to grow a scrog next to a free form. However, keeping diligent on the LST/HST right through midway flower made sure that the canopies were fairly level, and no ladies went missing valuable lumens, and none got light burnt. All in all, the Scroggernaut worked well and allowed me the flexibility of moving unscrogged plants, and with the extra space, made for easy watering of the scrogged plants. Harvest results: Plant 1 = 246g wet, dried to 64g Plant 2 = 345g wet dried to 103g Plant 3 = 338 g wet dried to 93g Plant 4 = 256g wet dried to 64g Plant 5 = 248g wet dried to 63g Plant 6 = 240g wet dried to 75g Plant 7 = 330g wet dried to 91g Plant 8 = 302g wet dried to 88g Improvements for next round include: 1) Increasing grow room size 2) Will raise the height of the scrog by 6 inches or so to help with comfort during watering 3) Will likely run Hempy buckets next to soiless mix and compare the growth rates 4) Will grow 1 extra week in veg I want to thank the GrowDiaries community, and especially the creators of the site for allowing me to share my grow with the world. the plants are using a lot of water. having to top up the res every other day or so. i need a bigger res. they are in full flower and have gotten very stinky. the smell is amazing. i can’t wait to try it out. buds are solid and getting fatter. looking good. business as usual.

These ladies were a breeze to grow... Feed them all organic nutes and they loved it... They never gave me a problem and at the end of the grow I was rewarded with huge dense nuggets. One of the best performers all of the genectics in this run.

It was a busy week full of events. I got them a 600 watts HPS light and microbes to help them grow faster. I finally started the trellis netting to even the canopy and get more from the lights and I also spray the plants again for bugs. I found out that I've been using powder nutrients on my reservoir and that's probably why I've been getting floods two or tree times a week and now the valve is open only when I'm there, because I'm sick of cleaning and I took that little sick plant out. My cats have her now.

Mittlerweile haben sich schon recht schöne Buds gebildet, die stätig an Volumen und Grösse zunehmen 😀 Die ersten Härchen haben sich jetzt auch braun gefärbt und die beiden sind auch schon total harzig 😘 Der Duft nimmt jetzt auch ordentlich zu und es riecht angenehm nach Zitrone 😉 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ein kleines update.........😉 an der Qualität des Videos muss ich noch ein bisschen arbeiten😂😂

Welcome to week 7 of flower for this lovely project. Things are moving along and hopefully we will be looking to start flushing soon so we can harvest these beautiful flowers around day 70. I'm very pleased so far with the way things are going for this run looks like I'll be pulling in some big numbers when it's all said and done! Still putting on mass and trichomes daily! Day#44F Some of the plants are starting to throw some colour around now. Won't be long tell we're looking to flush I'm sure. Lowered temps in room, increased water to some of the plants while decreasing some for others. Day#47F Pictures N/A. Ladies seem to be enjoying the temp decrease. Most plants are still gaining mass. Day#48F Pictures N/A. Creamy Cereal #1 starting to fade. I will be looking at the trichomes of all the plants in the coming days! Day#49F Macmelonz and Banana Smoothie #1 are still going strong putting on mass daily these ladies will be closer to 80 day finish I willing to be. Recap: Things are going good , with some plants showing signs of slowing down on mass its time to start checking trichomes to see if we can begin the flush period. I will be looking at the trichomes in the next couple of days to see where things are at on an overall level. The more time passes the more excited I am for the race to the finish line!

Veg nutes stopped. *Mimosa (1&2) end of week recap -09/09 Both plants are in early flower and proceeding accordingly. Nute feeds remain the same. Plants have grown in height approximately 5inches. Moderate defoliation on the bottom half of both the plants Will LST to trellis next coming week.

First few days of flower so nothing much happening. The stretch is in effect and she's going for it. Just a little of the bottom leaves removed for better air flow. Nothing major. Having issues keeping the R.H around 60%· Observed slight water condensation on leaves at lights on. Need to sort that out
