Week 9 veg We are doing well, the ladies are growing quickly, I do believe I need to add a foliar spray to the mix or up the nutrients because we are still short on nitrogen and a bit of magnesium it seems. But its not a massive deficiency so ill just push more nutrients one way or another. The one plant with the genetic issues seems to have wanted split its Main on its own. So apparently i have and auto main plant? XD, i will keep an eye out of herms but it find this genetic issue interesting. I am beyond happy with the way training came out on the ladies. I just need to make sure I keep them all low next batch of seeds. I'm used to the fuckery of aux clones so running seeds was a treat. 2 weeks of veg left about and we flip!

It's now over the end of week 13. These pictures are about 2 days past a week. So I will upload next step in about 5 days. Things are smelling great and nugs are getting dense. Colors are coming in purples on the fade, looks nice. Trichomes are milky on most but still some clear, not much amber. Will be waiting likely another week or 2 even to see what happens. So far these have been champs, honestly been a pleasure to work with. Though I think the plants might not agree! Even with the mishaps we got some good bud going and some great crystal coverage. ----- WEEK 9 ----- ----- Day 57 ----- Easy day of watching. Just 1 pic today so far. not much reason to go downstairs to take a pic yet. Glookies is turning Purple on sugar and fan leaves now. Harvest is very soon. I'd wager within 7 days now just going to depend on the High I get off tester nugs. ***Update*** I destroyed the trellis and took em out for some pics and vids. Trichs = Tropicana is ready Tuesday, Wedding Cake probably Friday or within that weekend. ----- Day 58 ----- Last couple days. Fed about 30ml of Cal/Mag and 30ml of Molasses. Wanted to just keep the photosynthesis process and the plant in general alive for reveg. Was getting a bit too yellow for my liking. Harvest soon. ----- Day 59 ----- Harvested Tropicanna Glookies today Deleted this week by accident trying to make it a harvest week, so remade it. Will add harvest week once plants are dry and tester has been smoked to give proper info Put some more photos in. Basically the tent is 4 feet wide and the ruler is 12 inches long from bottom of duct tape Really loving the colors of this plant. ------ Day 60 ----- Fed only the Wedding Cake - 5-10ml of Calimagic and 20ml of molasses (NO Liter level marked or PPM or PH, i could cut today its done but im just maturing the trichs) Tropicanna Glookies is a friggin BEAUTIFUL strain. Moved the Wedding Cake in the tent so largest nugs are furthest away from light and dropped light from 1000w to 600w to save electricity Chop on Wedding Cake happens at mostly amber trichs. Prob 5-6 days max for that i'll know when I check trichs tonight and update with photo. ----- Day 61 ----- Wedding Cake is about 5% amber... so prob 6 days or so. Slow day today. ----- Day 62 ----- Feeding is today, going to just use some CaliMagic and Molasses again. Trichs aren't golden yet, so not chop time ... 8-9 weeks is what it is supposed to take, but it's got at least another 5-8+ days until 30-40% amber trichs for Indica couch-lock effect to shine in the Wedding Cake. Tropicanna could still be going right now, but I did not want more than 5-10% amber gold trichs to prevent a couch-lock effect. This has worked very well. On day 64 I will post a smoke report and full harvest/trim details as Saturday/Sunday is trimming. Will have dry weight results of Tropicanna (per plant, and as a whole). Tropicanna being sent to lab for full analysis will post results when they arrive (Usually 2-3 weeks after sending sample via mail) ------ Day 63 ------ Nothing to talk about today, slow day. almost done. *Update* 1 pic, i think it explains everything.

She grew another 10cm this week!!! Slow and steady! Looks like she is making some nice dense flowers, but we'll see in a few more weeks. I note she is very bushy for an auto. Very similar to an Auto Purple Kouskush I grew a few months back! 💪

She was big but not nearly big enough needless to say we won't be growing her again

Day 52-64 (Day 54) I’m going to thoroughly inspect each plant and remove bananas if found. So far it’s only been the one on #7 but I don’t want to take a chance. I’m also going to give a watering with some runoff. (Day 55) Can’t find anymore bananas but that one. I will probably find a few bag seeds but who knows. It’s way too late for pollen to really have effect anyway. These 5 plants finish nice and early compared to my other tent flipped on the same day. I would never take this strain 65+ days like last time. I would do 56-60 days next time I flower this strain (Day 58) Holy shit this tent is fading like crazy now. They are starting to show some beautiful autumn colors. #1 #5 and #7 are definitely done. #3 and #6 could use a little more time so I’ve decided to take them down on the 24th. I haven’t seen anymore bananas and the one that popped out on #7 has shriveled up and receded. (Day 63) I’m seeing what look like seed pods starting to form in some of the main colas on my picture perfect pheno. #7 is showing 3 or 4 little bananas too. All of the top buds are definitely done so I’m going to harvest as soon as the lights come on tomorrow. I’m going to give one last watering right now and then harvest. I’ve noticed that harvesting a watered plant will extend the dry time by a few days and that’s exactly what I’m looking for. A nice slow dry. Plants are being full plant hung + dry trimmed and tent is being kept at 60-65 degrees and 60-65% RH. Cutting everything down was a pain in the ass. I had to individually cut each square the scrog net so it wouldn’t contract and squish all the buds. I chopped down my other tent as well so I have no other plants in flower right now.

This iteration had its fair share of issues, and has lived through its veg phase without proper lights. It had its tip accidentally ripped off which seemed to boost growth in all secondary branches, which aligned well with the LST. The harvest was sizable for a noob, and the taste is pretty amazing

Same this week. Some stretching and lst as it follows.In the second watering with 1L saw run off for first time. I think that I will lst again in (if necessary) the first days of next week and then stop.

another sucessfull week of just sitting here not growing much but still staying alive just waiting on a place to grow. I have some that will be finished next week, so harvest, clean and reset for the pot patch 2023 and grow this baby out for the contest.
