Started flush day 49, very happy apart from a bit of heat stress from the crazy hot weather over the last week. Quality again is looking 10/10.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now almost halfway through flowering which is 4 weeks into flower, and the stretch has just finished. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I did start to add a PK booster last week pushing the EC up to 1.4. I also switched the Medic Grow light from V1 to the F1 Spectrum at the beginning of last week, and will be integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The tallest plants are the Sundae Driver and the Durban Nights at 44" and the Red Hot Cookies is the shortest plant at 40" however they all look happy and healthy and capable of easily giving up a half pound each. The 5X5 tent is starting to really fill up and they are just now starting to smell. I was out of town all weekend so I was unable to make a time lapse video but I will update next week. I did defoliate twice this week and I may do one or two more rounds before just letting them do their thing. Not much to do from here on out except make sure the reservoir is full and the PH is in the proper range. well we are approaching the finish line :) the flowers look full and sticky, full of lots of trichomes,;) if the girl holds out I will let her grow for another 2 weeks.;) the girl drinks 3 liters every 2-3 days :) from today she will only get pure 6.3 ph water :) good luck to everyone.:)

Added the other two bag seeds in this week. They aren’t stretching quite yet. Pineapple Express is stretching like crazy and is now the tallest plant in the tent. Put the ScrOG net in to help control the grow... I have five plants in the flowering tent and the tent is only 2x4... defoliated each plant this week... lets see how this grows 😅

Growing some seeds I won from Diary of the Month here on Grow Diaries!!! I'm so grateful and excited for another learning experience doing what I love! Thank you, FastBuds! 🙏 Seed was germinated directly in Rapid Rooter placed in a seedling tray. I put her in darkness for 48 hours and then in a sunny window. Three days later, the seedling's little head poked up and the next day she showed me her first true leaves - calling this day 1. I kept the seedling tray in a sunny window and brought her outside for lunch on my sunny deck with me for the rest of the week. Given the heatwave we were having here, I got her settled into her net basket sooner rather than later so that she could have a more stable environment. This plant will is being grown indoors in an 2x4x8 Gorilla Grow Tent using an 8 gallon Current Culture Solo Bucket under California Lightworks 550 Solar System LED. For grow media I am using clay pellets and I use the entire Cultured Solutions line of nutrients. I will be showcasing this plant in a grow tutorial over on my YouTube channel and IGTV where I am going to show a detailed walk through of how I grew my original "Budzilla" plant. Unfortunately, I don't have a grow diary for her, but she is featured on my IG account. The technique I use I created after harvesting my first grow. I had used low stress training on an autoflower and achieved beautiful results. I took notes the entire grow and conducted a postmortem. I sincerely advise doing this for EVERY grow - especially when you are learning. It provides you opportunity to figure out what went right, what went wrong, what could have gone better, and what ideas you think you can toss into the mix to try to improve on the places that need revamping. I did this and I came up with the hypothesis of starting my plant off-center in the net basket, and then growing it low and in a spiral around the outside. In my head, I thought something like this could really push the limits of low stress training, especially when used on an autoflower where we have a limited time of vegetative growth. I didn't realize, at the time, JUST how effective the technique would be, but when the grower community on IG exploded over the sight of my plant, I started to get a feeling a did something right. As I was still only growing my second plant in my entire grow career, I was completely oblivious to the fact that I had pushed the normal boundaries of an autoflower.... I had nothing else to really compare it to. Nearly a year later, photos of my Budzilla are still being shared around social media in the grow community and I still get asked regularly about how I grew her. And with that, we start here on the journey to attempt the recreation of my former masterpiece. But I'm taking it one step further and giving you a detailed, step-by-step guide so that even the newest of growers can follow along and learn how to push an autoflower to its beautiful edge. An early update, due to rain in the forecast for tomorrow and the next day. Girls have formed button size buds and the nodes are stacking close. Very strong healthy girls here. Tallest lady just under 11 foot. My favourite time of year is upon us now. Cooler weather, just hoping on little rain for the next 6 weeks... New week

I’m unloading two weeks today was just busy last week and forgot to add

I had to skip a couple of weeks, as it was a bit hectic for me, but here is my next update. I started flushing them this week, and they will be harvested soon. I think there will be one last update before the harvest.

Granddaddy plant in week 6 of flowering. She is in full bloom. Bugs Issue: There are some old caterpillar holes on leaves but I think bugs situation improved. The smell from plant dropped last week after first round of insecticide spray. Smell is like plant crying out in pain after being attack by bugs. I sprayed spinetoram one more time in the beginning of the week. Late in the week, I used a USB microscope to check. And there was a Protoss tank patrolling a leaf on plant 2. On the bigger plant, I just saw carcass of dead mites strewn around. Prepping plant 2 for an early harvest. I am always happy on harvest day. Trim her and let the pot dry out for a couple of days. And plan to spray my garden with third and last round of spinetoram. Next week, I am going back to microbes. Plant 1 is doing fine. She is bigger and handles pests better. Her flowering cola’s also smell nicer. Plant 1 phenotypes is much better than plant 2. And I removed some leaves. This past week, I fed both plants with half strength potassium based orchid fertilizer. Plant 2 shows slight tip burn. So, this is the feeding limit. Plant 1 leaves are nice and green. A few leave started to yellow but I am not bothered by that issue at late flowering stage. Next week I’ll just give plant 1 a dose of yogurt and start pre-harvest preparations. Trimming, flushing, and all that. Transplanted a clone to 25-liters basket. She started to put our pistil. This is one issue with Mycorrhiza. It over stimulate the root. And root tips put our too much cytokinin that signals flowering.

Soooo, nach langem Warten (ich bitte um Entschuldigung, es kam immer irgendwas dazwischen), nun die Ernte! Nachdem ich jetzt alle Sorten verkostet habe, kann ich euch nun mein Fazit präsentieren. Im Großen und Ganzen bin ich eigentlich ganz zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis, muss aber auch gestehen, dass ich bei der ein oder anderen Strain doch etwas mehr erwartet habe. Bei den nun folgenden Bewertungen möchte ich noch anmerken, dass sich diese rein auf den Outdoor-Anbau der jeweiligen Sorte und nur auf den einen bekannten Phäno beziehen. Man kann grundlegend behaupten, dass sich alle Sorten doch sehr solide geschlagen haben, und das bei diesem … naja, sagen wir mal wechselhaften Sommer. Allerdings merke ich einfach, dass sie lange nicht ihr volles Potenzial ausgeschöpft hatten, was ich immer etwas schade finde. Ich bin trotzdem froh, dieses Projekt durchgezogen zu haben, und gehe mit reichlich neuen Erkenntnissen sowie einem abwechslungsreichen Stash in die besinnliche Zeit. Was hat mich grundlegend bei den meisten Sorten gestört? Bei fast allen Sorten, mit Ausnahme der Hella Jelly und der Lemon Tree (wer hätt's gedacht), waren die Terps doch sehr flüchtig. Im Vape kamen sie wirklich gut zur Geltung, wenn man sie allerdings im Joint (pur, versteht sich) geraucht hatte, haben sie oft nach den ersten Zügen an Präsenz verloren, was wirklich schade ist. Dies ist aber wahrscheinlich auf die Anbaubedingungen zurückzuführen und soll den Breedern keinesfalls ihre Qualität absprechen. Wie schon in einem vorigen Kommentar erwähnt, haben sie einfach nicht ihr volles genetisches Potenzial erreichen können. Ich bin mir des Weiteren auch nicht sicher, ob ich beim nächsten Mal wieder auf die Dryferm-Bags setzen werde. Es war doch ein ziemliches Gefummel, bis man die Blüten ohne Kontakt zueinander in die Beutel verfrachtet hatte. Außerdem hat es meiner Meinung nach die Trocknungszeit eher verkürzt, obwohl ich mich an die Temperatur- und Luftfeuchtigkeitsrange gehalten hatte, was ich auch nicht unbedingt begrüße. Und zu guter Letzt sind sie auch echt nicht billig, wenn man bedenkt, dass ich pro Pflanze teilweise über 4 Beutel benötigt hatte (pro 3 Stk. ca. 25 Euro) und sie laut Hersteller nur dreimal verwendet werden sollten. Das ist doch auf Dauer ein ganz schönes Investment. Aber das sind nur meine 2 Cent zu dem Thema :). Nach und nach sollten jetzt hier die Erntereports eintrudeln. Ich hoffe, ich schaffe alles heute. Falls nein, seht es mir bitte nach. Falls ihr noch spezifische Fragen zu einer Sorte habt, lasst es mich einfach wissen, dann bekommt ihr noch eine ausführlichere Beschreibung. PS: Die Filmore-Slim musste ich leider fast komplett entsorgen. Sie hatte die festesten Blüten, die ich je bei einer Outdoorpflanze gesehen habe, was ihr leider zum Verhängnis geworden ist (durchgeschimmelt). Von ihr hatte ich leider keine rauchbaren Blüten. Von der Optik war sie auf jeden Fall ein Champion! Ich habe von allen Sorten Fresh Frozen in der Gefriertruhe, die ich in der kommenden Zeit wachsen möchte (auch von der Filmore Slim). Also kann ich sie hoffentlich als Konzentrat verkosten. Das soll es gewesen sein. Ich wünsche euch viel Spaß mit den folgenden Ernteberichten und eine ruhige, besinnliche Weihnachtszeit mit euren Liebsten! Day 11: We have: 3x White Widow 1x Critical 2x Special Queen #1 1x Special Kush #1 Important: The method used "jiffy" is efficient and fast but in another possible germination I will definitely do the "paper towel" method first. It is important to note that for good germination, the seeds must have as little soil as possible on top, where I delayed by 1 week due to the fact that the seed was very deep in a jiffy. I reduced the distance of the LED from 60cm to 30cm because we still have plants that are stretching too much so this was the measure adopted awaiting results. For 8 pots of 0.5L, 500ml of pure water containing: 1ml Voodoo Juice 1ml Sensi Grow A+B (2ml total) 1ml B52 2ml CalMag The net proportion was satisfactory.
