Hi people, how are you all???? Week 7 here, and all is good with the plant, I did some defoliation to keep the airflow, and I got a ScrOG to open the plant a little bit to get more light. Background: This is a small grow in a 20" x 36"x 63" tent. Growing 2 sour diesel from seed in coco/perlite medium using General Hydroponic nutrients and primarily following feeding schedule as listed here http://gh.growgh.com/docs/Feedcharts/GH_FloraSeries-DTW_03216am.pdf . I'll be substituting "h3ad formula," i.e. 6 ml GH FloraMicro : 9 ml GH FloraBloom per gallon, for the first 3 rows in the pdf and also be skipping Diamond Nectar, FloraBlend, and FloraNectar. See pic above for nutrient list. Note: Second time attempting to grow this strain. Bud rot destroyed majority of previous grow so this is a redemption grow, hopefully. Lesson learned from previous failure - two circulation fans do not counter high humidity especially for the big buds over 3" wide. On chop day, after vegging for 3 months and flowering for 100 days, the insides of the buds closest to the stems were full of white cotton candy. Couldn't spot it from the outside at all. So lesson learned, and this time end of flower will coincide with low-humidity winter as opposed to the summer. Week 1 - Nutrient regimen: 6 ml GH FloraMicro + 9 ml GH FloraBloom per gallon. Used at 1/3 strength diluted with dechlorinated water. Solution ph'd to 5.8. 9/5/2019 (V1) - Sprouted yesterday and moved under 273 watts of vero 29 LED today, dimmed to lowest setting. Used rapid rooters for germination but would have preferred peat pellets since they stay can stay upright without support. 9/10/2019 (V6) - Fungus gnat larvae infestation! Transplanted to solo cups on 9/6 (V2) using ready mix bag of coco and perlite. Using 1/3 strength "h3ad formula" for first week and fed every other day. Growth appears stunted compared to previous grows and stems needed additional support to stay upright with circulation fan on. Feeding until runoff showed major infestation (see video #1). Can only guess coco mix bag was contaminated, since no adult gnats are visible in tent and yellow sticky card is empty. This has got to be my record for early fuckups! Attempting to treat with neem extract mix (dosed used 5 ml neem oil extract : 500 ml water) and a layer of diatomaceous earth on top (see V6 pic). Hopefully this treatment is better than not doing anything and letting those squirmy baby bastards take over. For a plant this young and without adequate root support this is a gamble. Also bumped up light a bit to 13000 lux as read on Light Meter v3.1 app by Trajkovski Labs using Samsung S6.

The smell is insane now for only being 28 days. She's extremely frosty as well. Really easy gro.

She's done!!!!!! Plenty of amber trichomes!!! She will be harvested within 24h.

12/18 start of a new week. Smelling super strong now Trichs still a lot of clear no amber yet. 12/19 watered in gallon with coconut and q 12/22 turned the light down some and shortened lights on time by 2 hours and stopped watering. Will harvest coming Friday.

When I first heard about this variety, I immediately wanted to grow it! and now that moment has come!!!!!!!!!!!! It will be great grow!

Die Kleinste, aber Blüten, Ende nie, ein ausgezeichnetes Blatt-blüten Verhältnis. Die klebrigen Finger riechen nach bitterer Limette und ein Schuss Erdbeere, echt was eigenes.

There was a lot of ups and downs with this plant. It was my first time growing cannabis. I did learn a lot from other growers which I really appreciate it, thanks to grow diaries for that. She was doing well at first, I never checked her runoff pH and at about day 30 I noticed her leaves were not as green as they should have been. The runoff ended up being a 4.7ph. she almost died, I taught about chopping her down and starting over. I'm happy I didn't, she ended up bouncing back, took a long time to harvest but it was well worth it for the experience. Didn't really care about harvest weight. I learnt a lot and I'm satisfied with that. Thanks to everyone that helped me on this grow.

Day 51, 4th of November 2020: The 3rd day since the lamp switched to be 12/12. I raised up the nutrition intake as it can be seen above only the BioBizz family 2ml/l and removed some LST because the plants remain in shape or just set a bit but nothing significant.... They look good and strech is on the way..... Nothing really to report there is crazy 2-3 weeks from now ;)

Day 35: This week I was busy again with work (60hours this week) + Christmass days with family + friends(4days every evening). So you can gues, i asked my friend again to take care of them. Well he did kind off, but he forgot to adjust the lights and dance the plants arround(shuffle them, sorting by height). What happend? They stretched out because of the heat and he gave them to much water everyday, he tried to do his best this time but he did the imposible, he overwaterd cocos soil. As you can see the leafs dropped downward indicating overwatering or pests. In my case, luckly, the first one. Luckly easy to fix. Also spotted some stress in stems due stretching, something i cannot fix. Look at week 4, pictures of day 28, thats my work after I fixed it for days and now look at this week.... For f**k sake lol. Because of this stretching it looks really crowded now instead of a beautifull equal cantopy. if you look at picture one to the plants in the right corner, those are the heights I want them to be. There are still some plants that fell behind and barely recoverd since last time. For the new week I will have to make a choice to eighter keep them and hope they still grow some while flowering or I will need to get rid of them in exchange the others will have more space. I might thoose the last option. Thats it for this week, see y'all in the next.
