Habe heute noch mal ein paar Blätter entfernt damit die unten liegenden Seitentriebe genügend Licht bekommen. Ich möchte später alle Triebe wenn möglich auf einer Höhe haben somit ist die Ausleuchtung besser verteilt. Beim heutigen Gießen gab es Nährstoffe, das auch alles vorhanden ist um die Lady zu befriedigen. So bin ich sehr zufrieden mit der Frozen Black Cherry Fem. von Anesia Seeds, wir sind noch nicht am Ende es kommt noch einiges wir können gespannt sein. I removed a few more leaves today so that the side shoots at the bottom get enough light. I want to have all the shoots at the same height later on if possible so that the light is better distributed. Today's watering included nutrients so that everything is there to satisfy the lady. So I'm very happy with the Frozen Black Cherry Fem. from Anesia Seeds, we're not at the end yet, there's still a lot to come. we can be curious. Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. It was a great week for the 5 mainlines, they are all close to 20 inches tall, with 8 mains, and I decided to flip them all to flower today on day 49. If the ladies double in height by the end of the stretch, they should be around 40 inches tall and my lights are at 52 inches so that would give me about a foot between the canopy and the lights. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients in about a week. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! These Runtz girls are showing their potential, and we’re dialing in every little detail to ensure they thrive. Let’s dive deep into everything that happened this week! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. 👹 Oni Seed Co. I've been thinking of an all-Oni run for awhile now as he's been one of my favourite breeders since I started! I convinced myself I didn't deserve to run these until I felt more confident in my abilities so here we are, finally giving them an honest go! 🍭 Dub Trop BX1 // Dubble Trop x Tropicanna Cookie F1 🍓 Straw-Picanna // Strawberry Bananna x Tropicanna Cookies 🌿 Tropicanna Kush // SFV OG x Triangle Kush 🔥 Sunburn // TKT (Triangle Kush x Tangie) x Tropicanna Cookies 📦 Likely equipment/materials: Gorilla 5x5 ChilLED Growcraft x6 / 1000w DIY StepWell Super Soil + Amendments Dynomyco Mycorrhiza 📅 Day 1 - Soaked for 20 hours in RO and kelp. 99% Germination - Went into paper towel. 📅 Day 2 - 24 hours in paper towel. 📅 Day 3 - 100% germination! - Labelled and into Rapid Rooters 📅 Day 4 - Added super special diffused light shield lol - Started popping through! 📅 Day 5 - Success! Unfortunately, I accidentally decapitated a Dub Trop :( 📅 Day 6 - "Transplant" into first home! (Tray wouldn't fit 11, so one Tropicana Kush is hanging out in a veg tent with siblings) - Used BioBizz Light Mix (0.4-0-0) soil. 📅 Day 7 - New home, no dome, with special guest: a small fan. 💪 - That 1 day growth though, let's gooo!

The last week of vegetation is already ending. Starting from day 57, I switched to a 12/12 hour light regimen.

Although its week 8... We are really at DAY 42!

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil top dressed. Day 1 we had high temperature of 85 and sunny skies. I watered 3-5 gallons from the hose. I added 45 ml coop poop and 50 ml plant tone. I spread the dry fertilizer evenly across the top of the soil. Day 2 we had high temperature of 87°F with partly cloudy to cloudy skies. I watered 3-4 gallons from the hose. I added 100 ml of blood meal spread evenly across the top of the soil. Day 3 We had a high temperature of 85°F. It rained the previous night and intermittently raining and thunderstorms today. The rain is watering today. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 73°F and all day rain. The rain was what remained of hurricane Beryl. There was a lot of wind up to 20 miles per hour. These girls handled it and loved the rain. Day 5 we had clear sunny skies and a high temperature of 85°F. I fed 150 ml feather meal and 45 ml Coop Poop. I watered 3-5 gallons from the water hose. Day 6 we had a high temperature of 86°F and partly cloudy skies. Plants #1, that developed powdery mildew on its lower leaves, began treatment with Arber organic biofungicide. I'll continue that for 5 days. I ran the fertilizer a little hot the girls are clawing and super dark green this evening Day 7 we had a high temperature of 85 with partly cloudy skies. This week was a success. We got a touch of powdery mildew on the #1 plant. It's on the bottom leaves. I'll continue to treat that with Arber. Both of these girls began flower the last couple of days this week. About 9 weeks from now we should have some big old beautiful buds.

5/11 - 5/17: I topped a couple shoots early in the week and have her in full LST submission..sprawling nicely.👌 I watered her once really well at the start of the week with endoboost, humic acid, silica, cal-mag, molasses, and big bloom...and a little bit of grow big. I foliar fed with boom boom spray one day, and a solution of fulvic acid, cal-mag, big bloom, sweet & sticky, and silica a few days. It rained really heavy on the night of the 15th, so I won't be watering again anytime soon. I topped another of her shoots on the 14th and about an hour later, I realized that I should have taken it as a cutting..I'll have enough soil for a few plants in 3 gallon pots, and from what everybody says, I'd be very happy with some more jars of #5. I spent all 3 seeds to grow this one plant, so I'll try rooting some clones of her soon...👈 This week I received my new portable outdoor misting fan and hoses and got it set up on a timer with just airflow while the lights are on, and once the temps reach about 95f regularly, I'll have my hose timer let 10 minutes of water every 2 hours get misted across the canopy. It should lower the "real feel" by about 25-30 degrees and increase RH considerably. Also hoping that the constant airflow will make them stronger and keep insects off of them somewhat. It will also enable me to easily give them a blow dry if it rains in late flower. But wait...that's not all....it's also gonna be very much more enjoyable for me to sit in the garden and do my thang. 👍
