What's a penning?

This grow was fun.. I did 12/12 from seed and grew it in a 32oz McD cup.. Wow.. These are some super fat, super dank, and super citrusy colas! ETHOS FTW! Will be updating!!! 24 Hours Drying... Relative humidity in the dry area is between 68% - 72%.. I have been running the little computer fan off and on within the last 24 hours.. About 8 hours constant then off for another 8 hours then kinda blah not knowing whether I wanted it on or off the last 8 hours lol.. But hours 24-48 I'm going to leave it off and the hours 48-72 I havent got that far into the process in my head yet.. Lolol I'm sure I am WAAAY over thinking this.. But I dont want my first mold experience to be with ETHOS.. and I dont want my 3rd too dry too fast either with this strain.. The dankness is so incredible with this one.. My mind is blown by how epic ETHOS is.. If anybody knows of any other breeders that are as good as or better.. Please let me know in the comments!.. Anyways.. ZzZzZz... 72 hours of drying... Leaves are a bit crispy.. Buds are still moist a bit.. Small branches are still pretty bendy.. There was an 8 hour period that I did run the fan... The smell is a little hay like.. But this bud is so dank I'm sure the dank smell will come back.. Starting to notice that some strains smell like hay, but come back.. Some never smell like hay ever.. Idk.. Just something I've noticed.. It could just be my shitty environment tho.. Ugh.. So far so good with this one tho! Should be at least another 2 days.. But I'm shooting for a week at least.. Then into jars!!! Dried and beginning of cure... Took 5 days.. Not bad I suppose. Trimming only took about 45 minutes. It was almost difficult to WANT to trim alot of these sugar leaves because they were so incredibly covered in trichomes! But I can make a nice little bit of bubble hash with the trim so I trimmed her nice and close.. Gonna let her cure for a week or so then I'll get the weight.. I try to get them into the jars a little early.. Its easier to just burp them alot if they are too moist.. But impossible to get the up to 62% if they are too low.. I'd rather them be about 68% - 70% RH because thats technically just adding more "drying" time if you really think about it.. Then once they get to about 65% RH I slow the burping quite a bit.. Like only once or twice a week.. I've found this really helps terps and whatnot.. But anyhoo.. They have been in jars for about 24 hours.. They are already reading jar (2) 68% RH and jar (3) 64% RH.. Oh.. Let me explain the weird numbering. Lol.. My jars were already numbered.. Jar (1) is currently unavailable lol.. So jar (2) has all the nice, big, top shelf nugs and jar (3) has all the smaller, but still nice and dank as fuck nugs lol.. So excited for this! And normally I would have already started smoking what I've dried.. But since I cannot smoke, this will be perfect to actually give them plenty of time to cure nicely! So happy with ETHOS Genetics.. Fucking EPIC!!! Lol... Beginning of cure.. I tried a nug lol.. So smooth.. So fucking tasty too.. You can literally taste the citrus.. I love this strain! I can't wait to see some other ETHOS strains and see what they are about... Week one of curing.. Ive been burping daily.. Sometimes twice daily. I went ahead and put both jars into one.. Fuck it lol.. But 37 grams dried.. After 1 week of burping jars it is now reading 62% - 63%.. So now Ill stop burping daily.. Im gonna try to just go weekly.. If I can resist getting wiffs of it.. Lol.. It smells so fucking amazing

The flush week! Seemed ok - def had nitrogen toxicity in one purple berry kush - maybe too much ripener before. But we’re here - will give them the 24 now and chop. We’re out of time on this run. 90^% of the crop are where I want them to be however I thought I would have more droopy leaves. Will do the harvests on Monday anyways. Have a great week. This genetics requires a lot of heavy feeding and heavy light and a lot of space because they gonna grow like beasts. In about 79 days from seed they were ready . One of the plants had small buds but full of trichomes, rich in terpenes with a nice smooth Latte creamy smell, the other had fluffier buds with more hazey smell

Final stage of vegetation. Few more weeks left before flowering starts. Cant wait to have that Hazelicous smell around. Anyone ever had dream machine?its one of her parents and I have never smoked it and im very curious about the taste especially!

10-18 She hasnt even acted like I bent her top! Recovered nicely. Her buds have turned upwards to welcome the light! 😁 10-19 Water, noticed some slight burn, will flush her next day or so. She looks pretty good other. Spaced some branches just just a tad. Cleanin up, while she fattens! Has a minty smell. I know Im rough, very grateful for these beans Weedseedsexpress!💚😻 Ill get my shit together! 💪🤘 .

Hello world, 🇬🇷 the previous week was good,the girls are growing and they were finally transplanted...everything seems OK,I would prefer them to be a bit bigger but they need their time...what I have changed the previous week was the ph of the water...I now adjust it to 6,0...since there's no playing around with nutes I have to play with something... WEEK 4: "WHERE THE GRASS IS GREEN AND THE GIRLS ARE PRETTY..." ☠️Day 22...💧they need to be watered daily,500 ml each time,as the sun dries their soil out...no need for nutes...Just add water and off you go!!!Today it's gonna be hot...37°C...I will have to keep them inside under the Leds cause 37°C is just too high for them...hope the temps drop the following days...I can't keep them inside cause the Leds are just 50W ...way too weak for my girls......I really miss my tent and my HPS...my wife doesn't want it around so now I have to compromise with the sun and the Chinese Leds...🤣 ☠️Day 23...Angie is a bit behind the others...Michelle and Lucy have gained height...generally I would like them to be bigger at this point...we shall see...the weather today is hotter and the temps will reach 40°C... ☠️Day 25...Michelle and Lucy have streched...that's probably because the 3 last days they are inside under low light, due to the heat wave outside...will be training these two shortly...Lucy will be topped and LSTed while Michelle just LSTed...Lucy's tooping will have to wait a bit... Today I topped Lucy at the 6th node...new side shoots are tiny but I am expecting them to grow vigorously since there is now main stem...I will do some LST to her as well but later on... ☠️Day 27...the temps are back to normal, 25-28°C...the girls are outside and will stay there...I used Enhancer today at ph 6,3,but only on Michelle as I am kind of afraid of it...When I first got it I used it on 2 other plants and burnt them...So I am waiting to see how Michelle will react and then use it on the other girls too... ☠️Day 28...last day of the week,the girls are fine...Michelle took Enhancer well,no signs of whatever,so I will give it to the other two as well...the weather is crazy...it's a bit cold and windy now... Nov 1st week 10. Started flowering and given some lst, a bit tall switched to flowering later than I had liked as finishing, dialing in room.

Por lo demás todo va bien, los automáticos solo consumen agua mientras los demás vuelven a la alimentación. Mañana volveré a aplicar el nutri spray.

Entering the 10th week, I've decided too scale back a bit on the nutrients, Due too some tip burn as well as did a flush because of extra salt build up. Things are definitely getting exciting now and the smell is now noticeable. Happy Holidays and One Love 💚.

End of week. They hungry. Gonna get some compost tea slop with solids as mulch, light full blast 24 inches, these girls don't look happy. Not gonna give up on them, I've not been around alot. Funeral. RIP Paw. If they don't straighten up I may feed them from a bottle. Organic tea maybe help some. I feel as tired and bad as these girls. Lol. You will always see what I see, no filters etc. They actually swelling and stacking up nice besides their color they don't look to awfully bad. Doing great untill I topdressed. Never thought about the happy frog soil. Put a new seed into a new solo with NEW happy frog. Noticed water droplets was going in directions water doesn't flow. Up down sideways. Watch the vid. Pics. The autos may make it to finish, flowers are ok so far and almost done. But I have 2 cherry pie s1 testers and a Bubblegum OG that I got to keep healthy. Rosemary untill I can get some sulfur. Wish me luck and DONT TRUST HAPPY FROG. VID AND PICS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES. UGGGGG ANOTHER FEW DAYS.... After the compost tea they seem to be frosting nice and coloring /fading pretty. We will see the final outcome within a week maybe two.

11/17 Week 8 Man I will be glad when this grow is over, if making mistakes promotes learning well... Im a fricking PHD ... Ok progress on Maggie the yellow is limited to the very top as buds are building in particular those a couple inches from the top. Thinking another root drench is in order, cant hurt and letting her dry a bit as a prep. Looks like tomorrow Layla doing ok she exhibits far fewer problems but the same issue are present she is just a hell of plant along with the Runtz which she shares the tent. Thinking about the feeding tomorrow will decide what to do then. They have plenty of time to finish up, had some issues on germination on the grow following so looks like it may be delayed a week from the scheduled 2 weeks. Maggie may need it. 11/19 Have stumbled onto to something it seems. The further I move the lights out, they are now at twice the "ideal" placement of 14" at 28" and the yellowing is disappearing to a great extent. Problem with this of course is not enough light at bud sites not on the canopy which lets face it is most of your bud. It is absolutely something that makes the plants insanely susceptible to light burn. New one for me but maybe some of yall know so making a question of it. Pics at lights out only and I missed today so new pics later if I get back in time. Update : Defoliated and tightened training on all three to spread things out from the center and open up the light and air paths. Raising the lights is working just wish I knew why as lights are higher than crap with little room for more than a few more inches. Would drop the watts to 450 but need the heat to keep the grow room level as our temps here swing 40 degrees all the time. Something I learned with the help of a carbon filter. If things normalize will begin dropping lights to see what happens. 11/20 Setting the lights at 24" as I am not risking yield any further than that on Layla and the Runtz, Have the canopy as level as it can be with Brandy getting the least light being on a coco coir block (heh) for height, which she is responding well to since I opened up the plant and no longer worried over mold issues in that main bud. Have Layla on a milk crate to bring her into decent light as well as the Runtz. She is just a lovely thing building those white crystalline buds. Maggie has turned into a beast at least I know her root ball is huge from the growth above. Seriously defoliated her removing several small lower branches and leaves blocking light and air paths. Next feed will be continuing what seems to be working, Epsom salt and bloom nuets (no calmag with epsom salt) with a foliar feed after lights out which may well be with calmag. Foliar feeding today at lights out, one quart sprayer with 1ml CaliMagic and 0.5ml wetting agent un-PH warmed to 75 F before spraying (our tap water comes out at @50F so...), just trying to hit hard and effective * New Pics after foliar Update Folks its taken 8 weeks and a final piece of the puzzle provided by Grey_wolf resulted in a near full strength cal-mag foliar feeding and the last def bites the dust. See what happens from here but its the first time I have felt good about this grow since the bad time germing at week one. *big sigh of relief* Have a whole list of things I will never do again in soil more about that at harvest. Right now I need to work on why calcium is blocked at the roots but thats another day right now I just wanna look at em. 😁 11/22 Another foliar feed same as before just diluted 30% and all three got it today JIC Cannot find a pale leaf or top and hairs are standing up on the top buds for once and buds building nice on the lower ares the defs were cleared up first. Going to stop the foliars for a few days see what happens but will resume at first sign of need. Maggie has potential even after all this and we going to help her be all she can :D 11/22 Feeding day - Bio-Bloom 7ml - calmag 4ml - Recharge .5tsp / gal at 6.5PH to all three. No foliar today 11/23 The thickness of the hair growth on Layla is amazing! Will try and get pics at lights out of it if my crappy camera will catch it. Never seen anything like it, once again THIS this is what we intended by growing Stardawg :) Update: Pics and vid hope it comes through well enough as for the green in that tent and the dense hairs on Layla

Parece que ha terminado de estirar. Practico una defoliación intensa para airear los futuros cogollos y dejar mas espacio en el cuarto de cultivo. Agrupo de nuevo las macetas en su lugar optimo para asi rellenar por completo la carpa @marshydro. Me quedé algo corto de nutrientes pero estoy muy contento con los resultados, cada vez le voy encontrando mas su punto optimo. Siempre es mejor quedarse corto que pasarse.
