It's been a pretty interesting last couple of weeks. Gorilla Zkittlez have quite the stretch in early flower. So far they have tripled in height, but goddamn they're frosty. The Canuk Blueberry doubled in high and is now packing on a little bit of weight.

Often, marijuana growers who have their plants in indoor grow tents or rooms with artificial lighting, take into account parameters such as temperature and relative humidity to maximize plants growth and bloom, thus obtaining abundant harvest with top quality flowers. As we will see later, these factors affect different processes of the plant, such as transpiration or nutrient uptake. However, we usually forget about another important factor that is related to the aforementioned ones: vapor pressure deficit or VPD. Broadly speaking, VPD is the difference between the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere is able to retain (which depends on temperature) and the amount of water vapor contained in it (relative humidity). It is usually measured in kilopascals (kPa). Providing our plants with a correct relationship between temperature and relative moisture will keep us on the right VPD parameters, increasing the plant’s activity and thus improving its growth and showing its full potential during the flowering phase. The ideal would be to adjust both parameters (temperature and humidity) to get the best possible VPD value, so that the development of plants will be amazing.In the chart above you can see the right temperature and moisture values to maximize the development of cannabis plants. The green zone shows you optimal values of VPD, in which it would be ideal to maintain the environment. The orange zone shows correct values, in which plants should not have problems to develop normally. However, red areas show values in which your plants will be very far from hit their full potential, since the relation between temperature and moisture is not optimal. With relatively high values of VPD (between 5 and 12) plants tend to open their stomata and release a considerable amount of water vapor into the environment (increasing their transpiration). This increase in transpiration results in an increase in the plant’s photosynthetic activity, which will need more nutrients and will improve its overall growth, both during growth and bloom. The best range is between 7.5 and 10.5, which we have marked in green. However, we must be careful that VPD is not too high (dark red zone) since the plant would close its stomata to avoid releasing too much water vapor to the environment, which would result in fast dehydration due to excessive transpiration. On the other hand, if VPD is too low (light red zone), the plant will also close its stomata for not releasing more water into the atmosphere, which in this case would be already saturated (it would have reached the maximum water retention capacity in a specific temperature). In this way, reducing transpiration will also reduce photosynthesis, which has a direct impact on the plant’s development and yield. That way, VPD is essential when it comes to offer the best conditions for the development of plants, also to understand its water requirements according to the nutrients used and thus adjust them correctly to meet the grower’s expectations. It's getting serious now 😄 If it can helps you to realize, each plants gots 4 side and a middle, each sides gots 4-6 buds and there's 5-6 buds in the middle, there's 11 plants of 1,60m/5.25ft, how many buds does it makes ?? I've seriously tough the Super Skunks will be ready first, but Vanilla Kush has shown milky tric's after 52 days of Blooming, waiting for some few ambers tric's before starting the Flush.

7/26: Last defoliation for about 4 weeks. Looking good and thick. LST is basically over and I'm going to let this plant do what it wants from here on out. I pulled some stems away a tad more so they grow out of any shadows. Bam! 7/27: Added my Google Home Mini so the girls can listen to classical all day long. 7/28: Pistils are tiny on plant 1, but the other 2 are growing rapidly. 7/29: Ordered a 600w ViparSpectra to add to the grow tent, can't wait. Also ordered some sticky traps. The gnats are not really affecting the plant, (never enough to cause major problems) but I just hate them. They seem to be coming from my shop-Vac (for run-off). I let it dry out, as it never stays full of water. I assume they are attracted to it regardless because of the moisture. I have now moved the shop vac further away from the grow tent and will have sticky traps installed 7/30. 7/30: Day 33. Going well. They love Mozart. Pistils FINALLY on every plant. 7/31: Got the new 600w ViparSpectra in, it's bright... this was a good idea. 600w @ 24inches, 450w @ 20inches 8/1: Pistils on all plants. Pre-flower stretch is real. The new light changed everything. Plant 1 taking half a gallon now.

Oatmeal cookies has no frost. She looking a little light. I think this is week eight and she not looking straight. But other than that don’t look like I’m getting any seeds and the bud looks weak anyway. I guess I didn’t pick a winner after all. Well back to the lab. 😁

Beginning of week... Just trying to keep her happy till harvest.. The runoff pH keeps coming out at 6.5 pH when I'm mixing my nutes at 6.0 - 5.8 pH.. So today I watered (no nutes) at 5.6 and it came out at 6.3.. Lol.. Finally.. Took like a whole week to get it down that much.. But I guess we shall see tomorrow if it stays down. Not seeing any issues other that the heat really... Next day.. Mixed nutes at 6.0 today and the runoff came out at 6.5 again 🤷🤷🤷... Story of my life. Gonna keep trying I guess.. Can't water with too low of pH.. Mid week.. Damn pH man.. Yesterday I watered at 5.5 (on accident.. Didnt mean to bring it down that low.. But I said fuck it and went with it).. Runoff came out at 6.3.. Ok.. so maybe I'll water today at 5.8 pH and just slowly bring it back up to 6.2 or 6.3.. That range.. But today, going in at 5.8.. The runoff still came out at 6.5.. I give up.. Just gonna wing it till harvest.. The heat has also destroyed the leaves a bit.. All the top fan leaves feel like shit.. Crispy as all fuck.. Taco'd.. Ugh.. I'm pretty sure she has some light burn in all of this too.. Buds are still goin strong tho.. Hell, these colas don't even need to swell much.. I'm happy with the size of them already! This new light is just taking some time for me to dial it all in.. Right now it's at about 50% power, 12 inches above the canopy. It was running at 75%.. I'm returning my LUX meter because it's reading ALOT lower numbers than what I'm seeing on GrowWeedEasy dot com.. Gonna order the one she uses.. But damn these are gonna be some fat colas when this girlie is done.. One more week of feeding after this week and then I'm gonna pull out the FloraKleen! Can't wait to get this girl hung and start a new project! End of week.. Runoff pH is still a little screwy.. Light burn isn't TOO too bad.. But it is a little bad.. And the heat stress.. Ugh.. But I got a new LUX Meter and it should help me get things dialed in with this light.. But even after those 3 fucked up things.. She is still producing some super fat and very sweet colas.. Jeez.. Incredible... On to the next...

Update of project Sea green 💚

4/22/21 - I’m staying on the nutrient feed schedule above (Week 2). I will switch to Week 3 on the schedule next week. Something might be eating one of the leaves but we couldn’t find any bugs (see pics). I fed them both with nutrients. 4/23/21 - I think the “bug problem” might be nutrient burn from accidentally getting the nutrients on the actual leaves. The plants are looking good today. Lots of growth underneath. The plants have grown half an inch since last week! 4/24/21 - Watered with nutrients again today. Going to start doing nutrients every other day. Plants are doing great, might need to defoliate again tomorrow. 4/25/21 - Lowered the light today and adjusted the fan to hit the plants better. One of the plants is feeling a little wilted to the touch, going to keep an eye on it over the next few days. 4/26/21 - Watered the plants with water today. (Ph 6) The wilted feeling plant hasn’t shown much improvement. Did some defoliation this morning. *Gave both plants a one gallon flush with Sledgehammer* 4/27/21 - I did not water the plants today. I am going to let the soil dry completely before I water again. The plants seem to be doing well since the flush. 4/28/21 - Today I watered both plants with nutrients. The wilted feeling plant feels much better today.

7 weeks into flowering and she’s bulking stable and well. She’s expressing her terpenes and the smell is super skunky with a touch of citrus. Recently, my humidifier ran out of water while I was out, and she had to endure about 2 hours of super low humidity (~40%) and high temp (~30C+), but recovered fast and continued bulking like nothing happened — she’s reallyyy stress-resilient, very good genetics from Zamnesia 🙏

Beginning of week.. She doesn't have many pistils turning.. Some tho.. This is going to be a long flowering strain.. Not many milky trichomes yet either.. She is very stinky lol.. Hope she is ready for a flushing soon! Mid week.. Still just doin her thing.. Pistils still slowly turning.. Still smells like piss lol till you rub the trichomes.. Then you smell the sweet piney dankness.. Not a bad strain.. Just a long flowering period.. Can't complain lol. I'm ready to start flushing.. But she's not.. Maybe I could just start flushing and flush her for a good 3 or 4.. Or however many weeks it takes till she's ready.. I've flushed a plant for a good 4 or 5 weeks before.. Leaves looked like shit but the bud was still great.. That was the Zkittlez Glue actually since I counted the flowering weeks wrong.. Hmm.. Nah I'm gonna wait another week before I even think about flushing. I am seeing some milky/cloudy trichomes.. Even a very few amber starting.. You can tell they aren't even full on amber cuz of how light they still are.. But i dis find a few beginning to amber.. So yeah.. Maybe 1 more week of nutes, then start flushing. End of week... Still waiting to see some trichomes turning lol.. Pistils are turning for sure.. Trichomes.. Not so much yet.. Seeing some light burn issues on a couple leaves.. But that's not stopping her one bit! She is still a very happy girl! Thickening up a little on top.. Bottom.. Not so much yet either lol.. Still happy with her.. On to the next!!!...

2x Plants with liqui cannabiz doing very - ghe tri 2x coming along (adjusted their nutes) lets hope for the ge best..ill be doing some fimming through out he week.. Hopefully side branches eill catchup during stretch period.. Looks like 2 showing signs of flowering.. Hectic week ahead @ work - will try my best not 2 f&#k things up..sofar so good.. Had some issues with LC buckets - looks like ektra NSol solving the issue.. Lets see changing all nutes 2morrow
