The stretch continues...It appears buds are setting and forming up quite nicely. I couldn't take watching the side with the vivosun bulb keep lagging behind more and more from the hortilux side, so I switched the bulb out. And within 3 days the jump in plant size was huge. The aroma is getting slightly stronger by the day. This is the last week with the early bud booster in the system. I have been putting the next weeks nutrient solution in my top off tank to steer the nutrients. It seems to work great!

Niagara auto grew really well. Minor issues along the way. She produced a lot of flower, and has a great smell. It was a 109 day grow which is kinda up there, but has a lot of flower. The Viparspectra P4000 light worked great 👍. She is hanging to dry, waiting to be processed. Will be back with a final weight, and smoke report hopefully In a few weeks. Day 77 (f15): The Runtz is stretching considerably more than the Kosher Dawg (which will need to be elevated - probably by putting planks under the dwc reservoir). Ran out of Plagron nutrients and couldn't find anymore! So I bought the only ones available at the hydro store 'hy-pro hydro A & B), these nutrients are much less concentrated and I already used up near to half a litre of nutrients on my reservoir change day (yesterday)! The yellow tips on the Runtz seem to be light stress, as during the res change the nutrient dosage was lowered and ph maintained between 5.7-6.1 and she shows she is hungry but the yellow tips got slightly worse to the light is 15cm higher now. Nice strong vegetative smell releases when I rub any part of the plants :D It is getting difficult to take pictures where you can actually see the size of the plants because the space is so packed! Can't wait to do the heavy defoliation after the stretch (in like 5-7 days from now)! Day 80 (f18) update: 😀 The Kosher Dawg stretched 8-10cm since day f15. EC and PH very stable at 1.5 and 5.9. During the next water res change, when all the water is out of the res (so it weighs less) I will try add planks under the reservoir to elevate the Kosher Dawg to a height similar to that of the Runtz (currently approx 15 cm difference in height). The Kosher Dawg took longer to start stretching than the Runtz and the bud development started later. Does this mean I should also do the 'day 21 defoliation' - which should be between the stretch and the focus on bud height development - a few days later for this Kosher Dawg than for the Runtz? Looking forward to defoliating and finding out what she is truly packing under all those fan leaves! 😃

🗓️ 6.4.2026 - Ich musste mein Mädchen außer Planmäßig ernten, da sie gezwittert hat. Ich werde versuchen soviel Samen als möglich zu entfernen. Jetzt soll sie erstmal trocknen und dann sehe ich weiter. Beim Trimmen habe ich schon zahllose Samen entfernt. Ein harter Schlag und ich habe es erst so spät bemerkt. 😔

Week 6 in the books and the harvest countdown is officially on. Aromas are rising, trichs/resin are ramping—super stoked. Spotted a couple gnats, so I dropped in yellow sticky traps for insurance. Cooler days = a slightly cooler tent; hoping that helps the colas tighten up. The biggest plant is still lightening/yellowing despite a Cal-Mag increase, and when I didn’t see improvement I also did a flush + EC reset. Buds are swelling (maybe a touch lighter on terps than her sisters). I’m seeing some brownish specks on leaves of the first plant on the right and the last on the left—leaning mild Ca/Mg shortfall. I bumped the Cal-Mag base and the yellowing seems to be easing. Question: would you keep nudging N/Cal-Mag, or let her ride since the flowers are filling in? Any Week-6 tricks you like (small night-temp drop, enzymes, etc.) before the final push? Can’t wait for next week’s bulking—corn-on-the-cob buds covered in frost would make my season. Nun ist es offiziell. Meine Pflanzen blühen. Obwohl beide so unterschiedlich sind, die ist 50 und die andere 40cm groß, haben beide gleichzeitig angefangen zu blühen. Beim nächsten mal gießen kommt dann der erste Dünger dazu. Plagron alga bloom. Ich nehme wie manche Leute empfehlen nur die Hälfte, da es sich um automatics handelt. Am Samstag habe ich nun das erste Mal gedüngt. 5ml auf 1l Wasser Pragron alga bloom. Sonntag habe ich mein Pflanzen gemessen. 70 und 48cm. Meisterlich Ich werde eine Woche nicht bei meinen Pflanzen sein können. Sie werden von Dritten gepflegt werden. Also Wasser und Dünger geben. Denke zweimal Wasser wird reichen. Dann nächste Woche wieder mehr.

The big day is here! 😎 Today, March 28th, 104 days (15 weeks) after germination, I have harvested my first indoor photoperiod plant. It has been an incredible challenge, especially managing it in the middle of a winter environment, but the results speak for themselves. 📏 Harvest Data (Wet Weight) -Total Wet Weight: 56.5 grams (15.7g + 40.8g). -Final Height: 40 cm of pure density. -Status: Rock-hard buds and an impressive resin layer. -Dry Estimate: I estimate that after water loss (60-70% less), the final dry weight will be between 14 and 17 grams, given how dense the buds are and the cold conditions we’ve faced. 🌡️ Process Summary -Managing a grow with lows of 12°C for my first indoor photoperiod experience has been difficult. I am aware that a climate control system would have been ideal, but the budget is what it is 😆. Despite the limitations, using lukewarm water for irrigation and controlling the lamp height were vital. This plant has been a great learning experience, and I am sure the next one will be much better, applying everything I’ve discovered during these 15 weeks. Now, on to a slow and controlled dry so the flavor is as spectacular as its look! I want to wrap up this diary by thanking everyone who has joined me during these 15 weeks. Your likes, and comments have been an extra motivation to pull this Critical through despite the cold challenges. It has been an incredible learning journey, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my first indoor photoperiod plant.
