For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. Before FastBuds announced the strain name and characteristics, I was disappointed that FBA2502 could be an indica sleepy strain but the universe provides what you need at the time. Yay! Finally they get space in the bigger grow room, been waiting for weeks. The few mother's that were still flowering were able to fit into the tent. Many of the seedlings were ready for transplant so I made room for them in the clone closet as well.

She put on so much weight this week I flushed her and now feed with ripen untill next week Mid week 11: still cloudy trichomes Maybe i let her go a few more days after the ripen scedule

Seed was put in a glass of water on the 2nd of January 20:00 (8PM). Around 15h later it sunk to the bottom and I transferred it to a wet paper towel inside a zip. Around 51h later (so ~36h inside zip) the seed had not yet opened. I am a little worried, but at the same time not because I've looked up what the pro's say and some of them don't even look at the seed until after the seed has spent at least 48h inside the paper towel. I will be patient and wait for the seed to open. After the seed has opened I will be even more patient and let the root grow for a bit. I have grown 2 of these plants in my lifetime and first time was really good, second time was very bad, and the second time I planted it when the root was ~1mm long. I will not rush things this time. I will also be careful to not let the root grow too long. If I'll have it my way, then I'll be planting this baby tomorrow evening, so in a bit less than 24h from now. If I have to reschedule then it will probably be planted on the 6th of January. Worst case scenario: We have to restart with a new seed. Bless you. Update 5 Jan 2022 17:29 (05:29 PM): We have a root! The seed has opened ever so slightly and the root has grown more and more during today. I want the root to grow a tiny bit longer before I plant it. I will take another look before bedtime. Update 5 Jan 2022 20:43 (08:43 PM): Root has not grown much since the last picture, will plant tomorrow. Update 6 Jan 2022 10:05 (10:05 AM): Will plant later. Root is too short. Update 6 Jan 2022 15:00 (03:00 PM): Root is still shorter than I had in mind but my patience has ran out and I think it is still a fine length for the seed to do really good. I also have very good soil for her with claimed great amount of nutrients for seedlings. When it gets large enough I will transplant her to a 11L pot. The 11L pot has been filled with more than 11L soil. Probably around 15L. By the way, the plant has a name, her name is "Satan" but is referred to as a "she". Update 12 Jan 2022 18:00 (06:00 PM): We have a sprout! I saw the sprout some hours ago. I am sure that I planted the seed quite perfectly in the middle. However, the sprout happened very much to the side. I suspect that there was something in the soil that might blocked the sprout. So far it looks like we planted Satan on the 6th of January and we got a sprout on the 12th. I will consider Satan to be in germination stage until it grows a little more. Then I will treat it like she's in the vegetative phase. ----------------------------- SUMMARY: Day 1-21 in Satans life has been so wonderful. Not a minute goes by without me feeling euphoric about her. Every day when I wake up I go to the grow-room and tell her good morning. I hold her largest leaf between my thumb and index-fingers to hold leaf (hold hand) and we just hold leaf together for a few seconds while I admire her beauty. She is so absolutely gorgeous and kind and she is also very happy with her environment. I already have another plant in another grow-room which also is a Northern Lights and I have kept a diary of her as well, just not on growdiaries.com (everything is kept in a Word-document). This other plant is called Kim, named after Kim Jong-Un. Kim and her diary is going to be utilized as a "roadmap" for Satan, so I should know what to expect and when to expect it. I also did a few mistakes with Kim, such as water too much or let her grow with way too much nitrogen in the air. Satan will instead be the best grow I have ever done - hopefully. Whats going on ladies and gents !! We on the start of week 2 . Not much to say here shes growing and doubling in size daily shes pushing her second node already and I have a feeling that I may be planting her in her final home by the end of this week or next week . So far I'm loving the way she grows she's looking like shes going to finish strongly . Going to starting the nutrient regime this week to get her going nice and strong ! Hi Growmies. A good week for the girls this week with plenty of growth now starting to happen. I was worried about the #2 jealousy as she did seem to be lacking something but was too young to mess about with her feed. The Candy Rain was looking similar toonwith an obvious dislike of something in the soil mix. I have begun feeding them with my all time favourite nute , Mega crop. The vibrant green that this non salt based nute helps develop is an excellent conductor for photosynthesis. It has rested so many of my plants over time and bever fails to give them a really healthy appearance. I have seen the recovery with both if the smaller ladies andndont doubt they will catch up with their peers. The Bruce Banner#3 is really going for it with growth and had already pushed 6 nodes out. I have now Fimmed her at her 5th node and plan to quad the lower 4th and 3rd nodes in their l.s.t. I am close to being able to do the same with the Jealousy #1 to. Hopefully by the next update , they will all be underway for their planned growing pattern. I hope your all keeping it nice and green. First of all I’d like to give a big thanks to Ganja Farmer Seeds for this opportunity to try out their genetics . Also thanks to Mars Hydro for this TS1000 I was able to grow them under . The grow was super fast . These babies were the fastest flowering strain I’ve grown so far . I’ll be back once they’ve dried to give their dry weight and trimmed bud pics .

Retrained and defoliated slightly. She’s been topped and tipped a couple of times in most places this girl here and is responding very well to it and to the bending. She does look like she could become some sort of powerhouse😳 not too much of I hope. I have created a lot more space for a much bigger plant within the flower tent she’ll be moved to but my biggest problem is my vegetation space😱😱😱 I think it can all be accommodated, let’s see.

Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of flowering. One more week of flowering for these plants and then harvest after 9 weeks of flowering.. Things are good here. I got 1 big flush in. Should be able to get 2 more flushes in this week. And I like a couple of days of dark before harvest. I'll show some pictures of, before the harvest, next week. I see some of the buds are heavy enough to start heading for the floor. I though I tied them up tight. 😏 Ok. Be Great. Chuck.

Adding the carb is helping boost the resin production. Plants are fading a bit almost time to start the flush! Happy growing!

Day 28- business as usual. May top dress end of this week, not sure. But smells and trichs are setting up and no signs of deficiencies. I probably could push them more but it’s all good for now. Day 30- ditched the trellis and did a heavier defol as the humidity would reach 73 with lights off. See if we can get some better airflow and fatter lowers.
