My Strawberry Gorilla seedling is looking healthy with its deep, dark green leaves. I've been gradually increasing the light intensity over the past few days, which is crucial for autoflowers at this stage. It's definitely time to ramp up the light now, and I'm excited to see how it responds. It's been a challenging week with the constant rain and ridiculously high humidity. Keeping things dry indoors has been a real struggle. Despite the weather, I managed to flip all my feminized photoperiod plants to flower this week. I'm hoping the switch will go smoothly, but with this humidity, it's going to be tough.

10/7 - Watered today. Plants are looking great. I used less CalMag this time, I don't think the extra N from the 2-0-0 CalMag is needed as much, we'll see how they respond! I also used 10oz of Real Growers Recharge that was aerated for about 12 hours on each plant after watering. Haven't had to do much defoliation and I think I did an "almost perfect" amount. There are still plenty of fan leaves, but every single "top" bud site is not blocked! 10/8 - Not too much to update. Everything is looking great. Daytime RH has been between 50-60%, which is good for now. I did end up picking up a nice portable AC unit to help with keeping temps at 60 during the drying phase. I also bought some Grove Bags for curing, and a heat sealer to make sure I do it right! Still need to get trim bins and some more trimming equipment. I plan on doing a full plant hang to dry, with 60/60 Rh/Temp. This is probably still 4-5 weeks away, but I'm excited!

The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. I'm watering at sundown so that the water will have some time to soak down into the soil before the heat evaporates it. The coating of straw that I previously spread over the soil around her base has helped a lot as well. 6/28- Our weather is HOT now with heat indexes over 100℉ so I'm watering the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod every day with 5g of straight well water from the garden hose in the late afternoon once the plant is in the shade. Other than the ever present leaf hoppers, which love the leaves but leave the flowers alone, and an occasional Japanese Beetle, there aren't any serious pest issues currently. The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod continues to have excellent color and vigor, continuing to add new growth and increase her height, it seems daily! 6/30- The weather continues to relentlessly bake everything outside... The smell on this lady is absolutely insane. The only way I can describe it is a dank smelling cherry. Trimmed 2 ozs after drying got done and had the whole house smelling. Very impressed with the nose tone and taste of the Cherry Cola and its not even cured yet. Growing this plant has turned me on to the cherry terps and will continue to look for them.
