Starting a lil LST

This is a strain that is very easy to grow and resistant, after the fourth week it sticks a lug, and does not need a lot of vitamins, it grew with only 13 and 12 hours of light and went through cloudy days and a lot of humidity

Nothing has realy happened since I cropped the royal cream....It is just hanging. Decided to do a dry trim so that it takes longer to dry due to the fact I am having to just use my cupboard so the humidity is pretty low. Leaving the leaves on just means It takes longer to dry. I am going to crop the Easy Bud in the next few days when the mood takes me. I had 4 left over R. Cream seeds left over because I informed them that. bought 2x 3 packs and only 2 seeds germinated so they sent me another packet which is REALLY good of them and the sort of thing that means I would definitely use Royal Queen Seeds again, for sure! The trich's are basically all cloudy with a few clear. I cant see any amber but my loupe is a ridiculously cheap Chinese piece of crap. I will invest in a microscope camera so I can hook it up to my phone or MacBook. It is way too hard to keep everything steady In order to see what is popping with my sexy trichomes. Obviously feeding has stopped for about a week now. I forgot to change it In the diary last week so will try and correct that now.. I know it is not strictly relevant but I had to go somewhere earlier and took a video because I was able o walk in the middle of a main road in my town which Is usually packed full of cars, especially at the time I was walking on it. It is a time that makes me even more glad I grow my own. I really need to buy the bigger tent, lights and re-locate to the bigger, more subtle cupboard (not the one i am using to dry my weed in the video I posted) and then I will be able to effectively ScrOG the 2 or 3 plants I have, in order to maximise yield so I can be totally self sufficient with regards to my cannabis medicine. UPDATE - MONDAY I just realised I have made a proper idiots mistake an missed out on some much tastier buds because of it. OK, so I got paid today, so I though I would treat myself to some of them cheap COB chips I used for my last grow because hey were super cheap and actually really effective considering the price. I ordered 2x 100w 6000k veg spectrum chips with a solderless connection for my power. I also ordered one of these heatsink + reflector. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01MT824NP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 My thinking was that I have a spare heatsink here that the old citizen CLU-048 is attached to so I was going to fit one of the chips into that and the other into the heatsink and fan I bought. This hought process lead me to go ad retrieve the old citizen LED and I thought I would try it. Still didn't work, then suddenly I thought it could be a simple blown fuse so I changed it aaaannnnd.....still doesn't work. doh! I started to remove the COB holder and COB from the heatsink (it was just glued to it using thermal compound) and when I laid it on the table I decided to test the driver without the COB holder on the tiny off chance it might work...nope I then realised maybe I got the + and - the wrong way round, tried again and boom works perfectly. The connection from the holder to the cob had bent slightly off contact. Really annoying that this whole time I could have doubled my photons to the plant, however, really nice that I don't have to spend a load more money on lighting in order to upgrade into the new room. So all I have to do now is spend money on a pre-drilled heatsink and a new metal COB holder for the citizen.

Hello everyone 🤩 she grew fast and with a beautiful green colour on the leaves! Day 40-47 (May 31st- June 7th) (Day 41) For the first time in this grow these plants are looking halfway decent. Smell is ramping up too. I finally feel optimistic about this grow. (Day 42) The two jacks and the chunky blueberry are showing early signs of N/Mg deficiencies. I know it’s late in flower but since I’m experimenting with this tent, I’m going to give them one final feeding of nature’s pride 2-5-5.5 (tbsp) along with a teaspoon of oyster shell flour and some rock dust. Everything else I’m going to give a teaspoon of rock dust and oyster shell. There is no way these amendments will fully break down in time to be used by the plant but they could at least use the pH buffering and trace amounts of minerals after their recent leach. Everything but the BAOGC is covered in pistils that don’t really match their bud size. I hope they fill into their pistils because an over abundance of hairs drops the bag appeal like crazy. Over the last few cycles, indoor and outdoor, I’ve definitely learned that different strains and phenotypes mature at different times. Sometimes really radically too. (Day 43) None of the plants are fading at all but they’re still looking good. Black garlic I know should be fading but remains dark green and toxed. I popped a developing seed out of the main bud too. I wonder if that blueberry herm branch pollinated it at all. It seems like plants don’t really like that Destiny dark matter soil by itself. I find it works better mixed with coco or promix 1:1. (Day 44) I’m starting to think I might be mixing up the TWOG and BAOGC. BAOGC took forever to fatten up last round and the 2 phenos I suspected already look done. I was thrown off by the similar terps. The beauty phenos are definitely TWOG (Day 45) God these Jack Herer’s smell good. Nothing but fruity funk. Almost like a vanilla or blueberry yogurt. I would say this stuff has the most overpowering smell in the tent now. I’ve noticed they’re starting to foxtail like crazy. Blueberry#1 too. I’m watering a final low strength feeding of seaweed extract on everything. (Day 47) Everything really fattened up this week. Even at the beginning of the week I was saying I didn’t think they would fill out. Jack Herer and BAOGC specifically made some big gains and nearly doubled their density and still have quite a way to go on them too! The smell has ramped up and finally, everything is looking happy and healthy.

1/25/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 1- took 2 Tops today and cleaned up a few lower leaves that were hanging down. The FiM seems to have worked well and looks like I have three branches coming in where it was FiMed. 1/26/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 2- took 2 Tops from the sides and took a little of the foliage that was touching the lid. She seems to be doing very well.. Water change day tomorrow.. YAY!! will get a good picture of the roots and see how she is doing. 1/27/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 3- Water Change Day! I noticed a slight red coming in on the STEMS which I added a pinch of EPSOM salt to help correct. I added 36 Gallons of Water I added the following Nutes: Silica = .5Mil/Gal= 18Mil CalMag= .75Mil/Gal= 27Mil FloraMicro = 4.2Mil/Gal= 187Mil FloraGro= 3.8Mil/Gal= 137Mil FLoraBloom= 3.0Mil/Gal= 108Mil ORCA = .5Mil/Gal= 18Mil EPSOM- 1 big pinch 1/28/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 4- I cleaned her up just a little bit on stuff hanging down. I also made sure the PH is balanced so she could soak up the New Nutes. 1/29/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 5- I Got sick, Possibly food poisoned.. Luckily for me the system was able to do what it do and hold it down until I was feeling better. 1/30/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 6- I was still to sick to go to my grow room... Her PH was down to 5.72 so I raised the PH back up closer to 6.0, I took a few pictures and got her height.. Feeling better through prayer so was able to get some pics today.

6/30/26 50% strength Strive ph 6.3 tds 600 ec 1100 water temperature 69 degrees Fahrenheit. The indoor tent seems to be doing generally good. Split my z42 down the middle and duct taped it back together. I expect a full recovery. Started running the small dehumidifier in the tent again. It makes it warmer but it also gets the vpd kpa cranking. 1.9 was the high yesterday. Thats high. Easing them into the strive w a half strength dose to start. Happy growing friends ✌️

This week made a few oopsies . I gave un-ph’d water to one of the plants “moving to fast” . Started defoliation during this week to attempt to redirect plant energy into establishing a full canopy since flowering has initiated. Whilst defoliating I broke a branch that had to be taped to save it. Humidity went out of whack when I stored 4 prepped 5 gal pots for transplant in the tent sooo I’ve got to buy a dehumidifier bc at one point all my plants fell out in a fit . STILL haven’t filled these pots out, & I’m kinda sure/unsure it’s time to re-amend the soil for flowering. I’m conflicting on waiting until beginning/middle of week 7 so I can flush week 11 & 12 . I think that covers it pretty well Week 5 in the 📚 📕 📖.

Week 5 of Flower is over and my Papaya Cake girl is showing her true colors and smells! She is in full bloom and pumpin trichomes like a Queen. Report: I’m seeing a “tiny” bit of nutrient deficiency pop up but nothing to be alarmed about. She been getting straight 6.2 ph water and nothing else from here on out. Shout out to the YouTube channel “Welcome to the Grow tent” and “Growweedeasy.com for pointing out a few mistakes I’ve made along the way and saving my ass when I thought it was a Nute defi but was just a root bound plant. Their reccs have made a HUGE diff in my yields and overall plant structure. The last run with this strain was nothing like this girl. The smell in the morning around 8:40 and 6:40pm in the evening is something you could write a book about.🎂 Your nose picks up faint odor of papaya and vanilla wedding cake. Hence the lineage she came from would make the most sense. Do you talk to your plants? I do and I know they are paying me back for the CO2 they need. I’m def enjoying the fruits of my labor as they say. Aug 8: Purple Ghost Candy is looking really good. She is continuing to stretch and lots of buds are forming. Had the AC Infinity UV lights out for first time today. The strength of natural UV light drops quickly this far north in mid-August. We run out of strong light before it gets too cold here. Aug 9: added third scrog net and clipped it to the twine. Kludge method but it works so well I don’t know how I’d upgrade it further. Works great and provides strength and flex to the plant. Unsung heroes include malt vinegar for pH adjustment and Dr Bronners as a wetting agent. The surfactant lowers the surface tension of the water allowing it to penetrate the soil more easily. The smell also helps keeps bug away, it is claimed. Anyway, it works. Peppermint is the usual one for growers but the store was out last time and I’m currently using Lavender. Aug 11: don’t take flash pics of your photoperiod plants unless you follow up with a red light. I’ve done it this way for years now with no hermies so the red light must help avoid problems somehow. And it is definitely a bloom booster and allows ripening under stronger sunlight. The 730 nm far red light is recommended for several different reasons.

This girls an absolute beast for her age, she's only 4 weeks old, going into 5th week, she's filled up my space nicely, ive defol'd and lst'd a little, nothing to heavy, ive also lollipoped her. I'm switching to half bloom and half veg nutrients from now until next fortnight, then straight bloom. Thanks for taking the time to read my diary.
