Note: At time of writing the Runtz has had 2 weeks cure, will update the review and rate it after 2+ months cure. Hermied a bit, has very few seeds so not too bad. Growth review: - vigorous grower during veg - solid stretch - medium internode distance - small sized buds - lower buds not too airy - very easy/not fussy - medium amount of smell - 80+ days flower (12/12) in hydro DWC under full spectrum led - responded well to various lst techniques Ease of growth rating: 9/10 General note: --> For me personally this strain NEEDS a good cure and is not worth smoking yet... It has a bit of a citrus grassy (not hay) taste, with some 'special' fruity smells to it that remind a bit of grapes/cassis. When grinding/opening the curing pots there is a pretty dank heavy weed smell so I think the quality will come out after a few months of cure... In its current state not worth smoking for the taste or effect after 14 days cure. --> Currently the effect is not very strong, easy to handle and I need a lot to feel a bit. The effect lasts for short compared to the average strains I smoke. Should develop more character with a longer cure. Hash making notes: - water extraction of the trim yielded 16g of hash (45mc-220mc) - rosin has a bit too much of a weird spicy grassy taste which make it a bit unpleasant, waiting till the buds improve with cure to try again - rosin color at 80c is yellow/white/beige creamy waxy, with hard consistency - rosin color at 95c is golden with hard consistency

This week will be mostly keeping an eye on tying down new shoots as we progress into early flower and things are still able to be bent. Also as we are going into a total of week 6 from seed, I am amending the top soil with 3 tablespoons per pot (7 gal) of the 2-8-4, for the flowering stage. Also adding 1 tablespoon of the 4-4-4 all purpose per pot. I originally messed up my measurements of nutrients. So the original medium had 6 tablespoons of 4-4-4 all purpose for a 7 gal pot with 1 tablespoon of 2-8-4 bloom. I have corrected those this week as well. As I continue through the week I will be keeping an eye on the environment, keeping humidity lower and watering top soil to keep moist. Also some light defoliation where necessary to increase light penetration while I continue to LST. So far things still seem healthy, aiming water to be with a PH of between 6.2-6.6 and dechlorinating for 24 hours. Strain is sitting lower and bushy, but quite a few bud sites.

The plants are starting to recover from the N excess 2 weeks ago, this delayed a bit the starting of flower from some plants but im sure that the rest of flowering will be ok, i gave only water this week and applied a small amount of guanokalong nutrients as these are slowly absorbed to ensure the plant continues to receive some nutrients until next 2 weeks when we will start to give some extra PK

" GEIL "

Had a bad humidity (spots on leave are wet spots that got handled ASAP) scare last week so got a dehumidifier up in there comfortably. Still smooth sailing.

Day 28-35 Mistake d28-29 (videos) Shortly after transplantation, I tried to LST the plants by making a bend in the main line. However, I did it too quickly and without proper preparation. This ended up more like a HST. The poorly developed roots suffered from the force coming from the bending. I also happen to have increased the DLI from 25 to 30-32 which surely didn't help. The result of this was stomped growth plus leaf scorch mainly caused from roots damage and lack of hydration/nutes intake. Fortunately, they did a nice comeback during the following days. Plants 1 and 3 survived the pinching d31 Plants 2 and 4 were topped from severe pinching d31 Grow room was updated to final setup d34 They are drinking like healthy plants d34 Controls setup: DLI 32mol RH 60% Temp 24.8°C Plants fan 30m/15m - on/off Extract fan >= 25.3°C

2024-09-07 Girls showing up, now they will need time to establish, before going to grow vigour "BE a Breeder", is one of Doctor´s Choices Motto. Regular Seeds Seeds germinate- A backcross from Chronic Ryder_ BREEDER INFO LEGEND We’re so proud of our latest drop - Chronic Ryder regular - as it results from a hardworking breeding process. We used an original Chronic male plant from Serious Seeds and backcrossed it with our Chronic Ryder from Sasha The Joint Doctor’s private collection to receive the Chronic Fast F1 BX Regular. By crossing 2 Chronic Ryder F3 lines, L1 and L2 from the same parents, we have created a new hybrid line. Well, it seems like it should be an F4 hybrid, but it's incorrect to name so. This process is called interline breeding, which means the cross of 2 lines. This cross allowed us, over several generations, to get a fully automatic Chronic Ryder that predominates its parents by 25% in key characteristics. Chronic Ryder is also available in feminized variety. GROWING Chronic Ryder regular shows the best performance of parents’ heritage. It grows into a uniform and compact plant that rarely exceeds 1m in height. Thanks to its compact size it is better grown in small spaces, terraces, and balconies and is quite suitable for stealth growing. The plant forms a single huge central bud cola with few side branches. Fatty and frosty buds will be ready to harvest in 70-75 days from germination. You’ll be truly surprised how big and dense buds are - the nice and fruity smell adds extra pleasure. The short growing period and strong resistance are other strong points of the strain. Chronic Ryder regular would be a great choice for growing outdoors with short summers - you’ll get your guaranteed high-quality yield in any case. Be ready to harvest up to 500 g/m2 indoors and 50-100 g per plant outdoors. TASTE and EFFECT Chronic Ryder regular has a nice taste - fruity and citrus tones complement one another, giving an unforgettable aftertaste. The effect is mild and doesn’t hit you like a hammer - the perfect choice for novice smokers. It brings balanced high and stone effects. Thanks to it, Chronic Ryder is a good smoke that calms your body, giving a strong body relaxation for a long time. CHARACTERISTICS Autoflowering: Yes Type: Regular | Autoflowering Room: Indoor | Outdoor | Greenhouse Genotype: Hybrid Genetics: (Serious Seeds) Chronic BX Chronic Ryder Finish time: 70-75 days from seed Indoor: Productivity: 500 g/m2 Height: 60 - 80 cm Outdoor: Productivity: 50-100 g/plant Height: 60 - 80 cm THC: High Flavour: Citrus | fruity | apricot Effect: Balanced high and stone | daytime | giggly

I havent been keeping a day by day through this week (More for my sanity than anything else) as I was starting to become a tad obsessed, resulting in this feeling like the end result is even further away. So ive tried to take a more relaxed approach in checking the enviroment throughout the day due to the heat wave we're experiancing. Ive been struggling to keep the humidity high enough, with it regularly sitting around 25-30%. Need a better humidifier but dont have the space on this current one to get a "Smart" one that will regulate for me. Relying on a naff one little one from amazon that has an auto off feature and just doesnt seem to throw out enough vapour. However this is valuable information for the next run! GG4 - I removed the damaged leaves, as these we're not bouncing back once the pH issue had been rectified. This has allowed for further space for growth which has been filled nicely. This has also been topped this week. Im concerned that im at a height limit within my tent, and currently sitting in the sweet spot for topping autos. Hopefully this will keep it within the parameters of my tent and promote more bud sites! All in all, this has really started to push on, and im so pleased that its bounced back from the start of a pH issue. LST has meant that height measurements are a little scewed now. Explorer - This has been steady away since day 1, this week it recieved its LST which is already showing signs of further growth. Seems to bulking itself up a bit now, the difference between last week and this week are night and day! Cindy - Starting to catch up to explorer in terms of growth however is seemingly staying squat for now. Im going to give it a few more days before its LST. Ariel - My sadest princess was refusing to bounce back from my mistreatment within the 3 gal pot and was taking up precious space and not pulling her weight. Therefore shes been moved into a nursery pot where she will live out the rest of her days in peace. My poor girl...... Shes starting to pull through though! Due to the heat weve been experiancing it seems that ive been watering more frequently, if not every day at least every other day. Ive tried to back off on how much im watering to compensate and relying on the weight of the pot and also my moisture meter to tell me when to water. HOPEFULLY it keeps me right

Week 4 over for wa girl. Soil PH was off this week and the ppm levels was way too high after I tested my runoff. So this week was mainly about flushing and trying to get the medium back to ideal conditions. So far she’s recovered well and been cruising ever since. There are a lot of new undergrowth so I need to lightly defoliate and tuck in some leaves to allow even light distribution on the canopy. AC got worked on too so my temperatures have drastically changed. I could see stress on a few of my plants already. Really interesting plant though, the smell has started coming out and it’s lovely 😍 Let’s see how everything goes. Take care beautiful people

Something is annoying with this app. I cant take pics with it. Hopefully it just the app permissions. Nothing too exciting yet this week. #2 has been struggling getting adjusted to the new pot. Where #1 took off. Idk what the difference is apart from the training methods. Having said that I have topped number 2 and fimmed her lower branches hoping that a little encourage root growth.. I've also had to do a bit of re arranging. So these are now elevated the highest and under mostly 2x 50w auto cobs. They both have supplemental lighting coming from the 2 viparspectra LEDs I have near them. Day 52: Watered both the girls today. They're drinking fast! I water till slight runoff and they get about 2.5 gallons every 36hrs or so. Also we raised the cobs a bit up to 24" from them. Day 53 & 54 Nothing to say for day 53. Maybe I think #1 is getting a bit rootbound. I say this only because her leaves are curled like they are over watered yet the plant is dry. And she went in a growth spurt last week. Day 54 I picked up some soil for transplant tomorrow. I am putting #1 into a 10gal bag. #2 I haven't decided yet. Day 55: I transplanted #1 today into a 10gallon fabric smartpot. I mixed the bottom soil with Fox Farms Ocean Forest because we are getting ready to flip to bloom and ocean forest has more P&K and less N. And that's what we want. Hopefully she doesn't shock. I inoculated #1s roots with Azos during transplant. Applying it gently and directly onto the roots.
