day 46: a lot of defoliation these days. growing nice :)

This was the second grow cycle of the Lemon Skunk genetics. I'm happier with the way the second run turned out compared to the first. My yield was higher and one of the phenotypes turned out some stellar top nugs. This grow took way longer than it should have and I'm to blame for some of it. I think I should have went straight to 5 gallon pots instead of hopping into the 3 gallon pots. This cost me at least 2 weeks of extra veg time, maybe more. This harvest took 21+ days to dry. That's about a week longer than last time. I've had to prepare my report early to enter the Diary of the Month. I did a smoke sesh yesterday morning on a nug that's only been curing for 3 days. I'd much rather wait a month to fire some up and let it cure properly. I didn't get many followers or comments on this grow until it was approaching the end. I got the feeling that most people don't like this strain. I'm not really fond on growing it again for various reasons. Mostly because of the amount of labor involved with the trimming portion of the harvest. Maybe I just got some bad phenotypes. I wasn't really impressed with the way the terpenes touch my palate even though it smells really loud either.

07/08/2020 Powdery mildew has cleared up got bird poop on leaves now will clean, and defoliate as needed🙏 Red Sky clones do not take light stress well be on top of that shit with a timer! The first clone I took I put under 24 hour light (on purpose)sent out male flower at several nodes (collecting for Feminized project) So no light stress, unless you need to!

This lady is incredible! Just going to town, starting her fade.... I've switched from the KoolBloom liquid to the dry formula now for her last weeks... and the EC is being brought down. Think I may have two more weeks with her? Certainly not more than 3... REALLY excited about this grow!

Semana 7 El Scrog comienza a tomar forma y las plantas comienzan a tener un verde mas natural , las plantas reaccionaron bastante bien al apical dándonos un estres de tan solo 3 dias emos aplicado bud fuel 10 días antes de la flora y ahora ultimo se lo aplicamos de manera foliar se a regado con una EC de 800-1200 y un pH de 6,3-6.5 tambien resolvimos la problematica de los hongos con agua oxigenada

Hello, Both ladies doing very well now. Wheater changed for now, and there is much more humidity in the air, as less dry burning sun. Had a quick communication with Dutch Passion about the leafs that tend to fold up. They are never nice flat out. But they assured me there is nothing wrong going on. And the plant looks very healthy!! Working on the lady in the greenhouse-ish shed, i wanted to bend the top of the plant, but its allready very stiff. So i managed to break it. 😅👈🤪👈😒👈 There was luckely allready a support attached. And it didnt break all the way. See pics. Its a FIBI, fuck i broke it. 🙌🤣 So its restoring good and the top hasnt started to faint down. So, all good!!! The lady outside is doing very good now, she starts to bush-up. Shes free to grow so, i only did a few chiroprac on the main stem, she can flourish as she supposed to by nature. Thats about it, for this week. Week 8 Flower | GMO × Triangle Mints BX Week 15 overall, and we are in the final stretch. One week out from harvest and the room is telling that story loud and clear. The fade is deep and progressing perfectly — the plants are drawing down everything they have left, channelling it all into the buds in one last push. The purple expression that showed itself last week has deepened across multiple plants, the calyxes are swelling, and the trichome coverage is dense across every site from top to bottom. Watering climbed again to 8L per plant per 24h — the root zone is pulling everything it can get in these final days. pH holding at 6.2, EC stepped further down to 1.2 mS/cm as the fade protocol does its work and the plant takes over. Height unchanged at 110cm, lamp still at 20cm — nothing moves from here. Humidity holding at 50%, day temp 25°C, nights 23°C. Feed stack stripped back to the essentials for the final week: Athena Fade carrying the programme, Canna CalMag Agent 1.1 ml/l, Aptus Regulator 0.1 ml/l. Nothing else. Clean finish, no interference — let the plant do the rest. The candy gas is relentless at this point. Harvest is next week. The GMO × Triangle Mints BX delivered exactly what was asked of it. Hi guys ! This week has gone so good, we start week 3 of flower, first feed with pk booster and buds start to form ! I did the last pruning of lower branches and budsites and defoliated some fan leaves . They look happy everyday so i’m happy everyday 😊. Let me know ur thoughts guys !

Wk 5 was Steady Away, Explosive growth starting, Transplanted one from aero to coco and added Began the Scrog As you may have noticed, I Expanded the garden to give the coco girls some more room. The Dawg in the aero wasn't taking well at all, she hadn't really had a good innings from the beginning. I transplanted her into the coco and Fed her very week nutes..

This week was a very cold week. 13 to 18 degrees during the day and at night like 10 to 13 degrees. Therefore the buds didn't swell properly. Luckly one Critical Kush is still swelling but the other one seems to have slowed down. It's oke, i knew this would happen and the kushes might not finish in time. Might harvest my Shamans at the end of the month. The kushes I will keep until half/end oktober. Since this is only a outside fungrow, I'm not making any effort to heat up the climate by putting heaters arround the plants. Critical Kushes are in their 3th week of flowering. week 2 of flower, been able to line up compost teas with feeds so they get nutes, nutes, RO+TEA, Repeat. foliar last times this week, I stop spraying anything on week 3! showed how i like to shake them up with the scrog a bit in last vid. I do that to essentially simulate a wind storm, strengthen stalks and roots, also helps reorganizing the canopy as you sorta shake things into place that were bunched up next to neighboring leaves. next week will do a fairly heavy defoliation to allow better airflow around colas

The seeds are really starting to swell up nice. These ladies are bearing alot of seed from the natural style of pollination i used. Decided to use a small paint brush and some of my collected pollen. Dusted the un seeded flowers and got these ladies seeded to the max. In a couple days I will give them a good water shower to wash away some of the excess pollen spillage. I'm going to let these beans get nice and mature. Viability won't be a question lol. After I collect/harvest my seeds I'm pondering what to do with the plant material. They are throwing off a solid amount of resin to protect their offspring. There will be plenty of it to work with. Decisions ...Decisions . Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.
