She’s growing fast. Developed some CalMag issues this week but she perked up after a bit of silica and CalMagic. Flowering has begun as of the 14th (day 18 of the grow roughly. Roots are looking good.

Here we are, ready, after a week of truly fruitful germination we have 20 beautiful plants all marked with the Z of Zamnesia. We have moved on to autoflowering, unlike many growers I have no prejudice against this type of plant, it is true that they are the easiest to make but it is also true that they have improved a lot in terms of flower quality and if once ease meant lower quality now even the most presumptuous old school flower children growers struggle to understand if a flower is from an autoflowering or a normal photoperiod plant. There are people who claim to recognize it from the flavor but then never succeed, it's funny how it works. I enjoy making them strip their heads with these magnificent new autoflowering plants. She is the Black Orchid I have never grown her but I have seen some truly phenomenal photos of this plant. I really hope they come out black. I love it. ---- New Home - The ladies have almost all been transplanted into 11-liter pots, which is my favorite size to get the best ratio of plants in the grow box / yield. Especially if you don't have to do excessive topping or you have to grow the plants straight with main cola like I do for catalog needs like I do, 11 liters guarantees you to make excellent plants. Coming along nicely, staying short & stout. I've had NL flower that smelled unbelievably beautiful & it was a great night time relaxing strain. I hope this one is similar

First plants are outside. 3 are growing in a large container. They have to share it with an old lady who is stil flowering after 90 days Two are growing guerilla style between the sunflowers. The rest will get their own pot.

12/24/18 Decided to make bubble hash with the trim and small buds from all 4 plants. The bubble hash is now drying. This plant has been a dream to grow. No problems from her at all. I even found a couple keeper phenos as well. The black magic soil and fertilizer, along with the aerated nutrient teas that these ladies were feed worked to perfection. All organic living soil is the way to go! Im not finished yet. I will update this diary soon with dry weight and a smoke report once the ladies are done drying.00000

3/25/21 - Today I fed with a little bit of Big Bloom. They really seem to respond well to it. 3/26/21 - They look great! No feeding today. I removed the humidity dome today. We are transplanting into the grow closet on 4/01/21. They will be in the grow closet until harvest under LED. 3/27/21 - Autopilot today. No feeding. I’ll feed tomorrow with more Big Bloom. They could be transplanted today but we are going to run the rest of this week. 3/28/21 - Fed with Big Bloom. All plants have roots coming out of the bottom of the cups. We’ll be moving them to 5 gallon fabric pots in a few days. 3/29/21 - No water today. They all look good. Transplant day is coming! 3/30/21 - I put some water in the tray so the plants could get water if needed. I don’t think they need any water today. 3/31/21 - I gave each plant a small feeding of Big Bloom. Tomorrow they will be transplanted into 5 gallon fabric pots of Fox Farm Ocean Forest and be given water for at least 2 weeks. See ya on week 4!

I did a transplant, added some mychorizae? (Sorry my spelling isn’t great) and gave them some new homes from 3 gal pots to 7 gal bags (A huge difference but it was what I had to work with in a short time frame)

11/3 - Today is technically the first day of Week 5 and also the first day I could see a visible drop in her water level since her last check-in (~12 hours apart). As a result, her ppms shot up to around 800. I diluted the solution with straight tap (7.5pH, 170ppm) since her pH was registering around 5.3. This brought her up to 5.6pH and 670ppm (1.0ec + tap, 500ppm of nutrients). I would have liked to adjust her pH more, but the water level ended up at the bottom of the basket. I'll adjust further as necessary. The other day while attempting to LST her top branches, they ended up snapping off, so I just topped her down one node and broadened her other LST to make her as squat as possible. Once I am able to find a suitable individual ScrOG screen, I will put it on her. 11/4 - I wasn't even planning on doing an update today, but I want to note a few changes. The first of which is a visible difference between her foliage density in a span of 36 hours. Her root bundle is over a foot long and getting more wound up every day. I removed her LST ties in order to take advantage of the ScrOG screen apparatus (see notes below). After lights came back on, she measured 645ppm and had another notable drop in water level. Currently, I am preparing another nutrient solution that closely matches what she is feeding on now. I will be upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket. I will be aiming for 1ec of nutrients/additives (500ppm + Tap on my meter, Hanna Primo .5 conversion). Tap measured 180ppm, so target ppm would be 680. Later that same day... So I finished upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket before I actually got done writing the update. Added one photo showing new 5 gallon setup. Solo ScrOG test mk1 - In an attempt to do a ScrOG, but maintain control over each bucket, while still having relatively easy access to each reservoir, I decided to throw together this little contraption. I removed the lowest complete segment of a tomato cage, leaving a short "tail" beyond the lower ring to act as a peg to insert into corresponding holes in the lid. The lower ring is 10" in diameter and the upper is approximately 12" in diameter. Each ring is 11" apart. I would prefer to have a shorter segment, but I haven't worked out exactly how to do this yet. I would prefer to set the screen height at around 6" above the bucket instead of 11". This will have to suffice for the time being while I let my latent conscious work out a solution or one is provided by the community. Above each cage will sit a coated wire fence with grids measuring ~2"x3", as shown in the above picture. 11/5 - Uploaded short video showing Solo ScrOG Apparatus in place. Candyman is now Day 22 of flower! The smells are beautiful 2 smell more gassy and one smells more lemon now. They are drinking a lot every 2 days now, I've took a lot of leaves off and lower bud spots to give the tops more energy the finish line is fast approaching now and I can't wait 😍 Day 26 of flower and they are stinking they smell like gassy shit 🤣 but my last run of skywalker did that and was unreal smoke, so 🤞🏻 Update: Day 78, Day 28 of flower! It's the start of week 4 today and the colours are starting to change 😍 smelling and getting frosty by the day now. Really can't wait to try these girls out ✌️🏻

Chopped her two days into week 14. What else. Buds. There are a lot of them. And they are quite large. And they look like they will require little effort to trim. What more can I wish for? I am a very happy man. Upd 1: Trimming is SO SIMPLE! Not much sticking out to begin with, because of the amazing bud structure and me plucking most bud node fans. Solid nugs which are not bothered by anything, so pulling smaller sub-bud fans is very simple too, while the buds are what I would call moist. I'll call this Moist Trim 😄 ✂️✂️✂️ Went for the best trimming tools available on the market (well at least my research concluded so) and LOVING every minute of trimming with the B-500SRF. Why would I or anyone else use something less suitable or less comfortable for such a delicate and long job is beyond me, except if you cannot afford one right now, in which case I wish you to experience it one day. Fiskars are also very good in therms of the blades, coating and cutting ability and precision, but the spring is just too stiff, like way, way to stiff for something that is to be used for hours on end. One might argue that such spring force helps overcome resin buildup, but please just rinse your instrument regularly in an appropriate solvent (ethy, iso, whatever — consider you instrument materials as well) and wipe it after. Why would you let significant amounts of resin to accumulate on such a gentle and precise tool? Kinda defeats the purpose?
