day 7 Flowering: Hi all . It has been the start of their flowering this week and the initial stages of their stretch period. Time to exploit the burst of growth and set them in position for full light absorbing relaxation. The less stress to get light , the more focus on creating the beauty in flowering hopefully. I took some time to do a clear out of the small scrappy growth low down the stems to focus on the happy growing bud sites higher up. With their shape and size , the flowers would have been within the ball shapes and unable to develop properly. The shape of the plants from the tip spreading is very helpful now. I am able to tuck the really big powerhouse fans , underneath the developing lowers. This supports the lower growth to head higher but also keeps the main stem powered by the very important big fans. As these are autoflowers and able to use the available light through the huge fans , it can only be beneficial to keep them as long as possible while they are not blocking anything. The difference between the strains is noticable more now with the Strawberry Pie wanting to spread her branching more . Tip spreading has kept them smaller but their nature still has them wanting the long node lengths and cluster bud structures as opposed to long donkey di#ks. The other strains have benefited more from it and in particular, the #2 Six Shooter has an amazing amount of hopeful mains all fighting for focus so should be a good example of how tip spreading really works to create productive , squat beasts. Fingers crossed.lol They are still being fed just water with no additional boosts beside the last top dressings. I will be watering again with the biosys tea but they look so happy and green that I wont be adding any other products unless I notice a need. Cal.mag being the exception as I want to avoid the expected deficits from using l.e.d , before it can slow anything down in repair/recovery. The light is covering them all perfectly and with the height still to be lowered after the stretch is done , I know from previous Mars lights, the big solid nugs will appear.... I have used a video to show the past weeks growth rather than the usual pics and hope this will be more interesting than having to scroll pics. I also noticed a few leaf miners among the other plants and suspect we have some migration here too. Not too serious as yet but before it gets too bad , I used a store bought spray ( organic) to hopefully get to grips before they do. Failing this , a good smoke bomb might be used. Added humidifier. A bit late but I keep it pumped up during lights go. It will stay around 60-70 for the next three weeks. Looking to encourage some stretching. Plants are very short and bushy. I may not even need a scrog. Lets see how they grow over the next few weeks. 10/29 The ladies seem to really like the extra humidity. They are still vegging as to be expected. Really short and bushy compared to my last run!

I have added 2 videos of the girls in addition to the photos! I used LST and defoliation for the Cream caramel! I am really excited :)

Well i think the fade was as good as it gets for the first attempt at fade. The purple came in nicely and the calyxxes have taken on some purple color :) I couldnt be happier with the outcome... I did start flushing 6 days ago and today. fed with the last little bit to help with carbohydrates and flavor.. the smell is too mucmuch for my carbon filter lol. Aboutc8 feet from the tent all you can smell is bud. The last 7days. Are going to definitely be the most anxious throughout the grow. I'm hoping for good yields off 7 plants. Along with that purple accent to the terpene profile. I never like to anticipate weight but one of the bunch is definitely going to be heavy :)

Day 35: The weeks seem to be flashing past now we have some buds to admire. Wedding Cake is storming the field in this tank and without doubt the leader of the pack. She feeds really well and shows no sign of slowing down at all. she is beginning to give of a really nice biscuit smell up close and touched and her sticky buds are certainly pushing oils out. She has a good deal of space to keep growing out and up into so heres to a 5-tier wedding cake at harvest. Black Ghost O.G is certainly a tryer and is putting some very frosty trichs and pistils out now to make up for her lack of size. I dont think it is an impressive grower but i dont doubt the hit that she will give from the building up of these trichs . Gorilla Glue#4 is being a typical GG#4 I am happy to say. she is falling under her oily buds weight on her skinny limbs and need a pinochio conversion to keep her upright so i got bits with the yo-yo's to keep her up. She smells so nice when touched but is so sticky she doesnt want to let go !. Now that her roots are not submerged entirely , her leaf colour has come back to a beautiful green again. She has a fairly decent size but I think quality over quantity will be a mantra I use for her yield. . Have a fun week until next time . keep it green and mean.

26.12.24: These are my 2 best plants P1 and P2 Purple Punch, they are looking great! Not sure what happened to P3. They are in early flower/ pre-flower with the pistils clearly seen on P2. I am also hoping to tie some of the branches down to help light penetration on the lower canopies. I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. I'm very excited to see them adapt and progress! 😁 there are videos above with before and after of my LST process. Thanks for checking out my diary 🍃 ✌️
