Baby 8-11 week

Another great week here. Defoliated the girls throughout the week. Continue to do well and very healthy. They drink a good amount but nothing crazy. The frost is unreal! It's even on the fan leaves! I can't believe the smells as well. The orange sharpie smell! It's awesome and I can't believe the stability of this strain before it's even released! Watering daily or every other day. Also adding water to to self watering pots as needed. Starting to use the UVB today!! 🤞😎 Gonna start now at 30 minutes a day for a few days. Then slowly increase as we move forward. They already have a lot of trichomes, as you can see, and I'll look to increase those. I plan on harvesting these girls at week 8 to save the terps as much as possible. Let's go!

***Sponsored Grow*** = Medic || https://medicgrow.com || Grow = ***Sponsored Grow*** Plants still looking good from last week, the yellowing has seemed to stop spreading, still some dull green in some leaves, I think I was under feeding them, but runoff says otherwise. Noticed some more pink/purple stems on the plants and decided to increase the phosphorus content in the feed by mixing in half grow and half bloom from the nutrient lineup. I'd use the PK booster I have but its to high in K for my liking. The entire lineup is very high in K. mixing grow and bloom gives a NPK ratio of 7-7-14 then done 1:1 equal parts. Grow=8-4-15 Bloom=6-10-14 Boost=1-15-30 Run off was a bit high for my liking but only seeing minimal signs of nutrient burn. Still watering once with feed and runoff and then later in the week with water and no/little runoff for my watering cycle.The number in the nutrient section are wrong but the EC and ratio are correct. Also impressed the roots have started popping out the bottom of the container already after only being transplanted for a week. Good root growth on these ones. Lights doing well. The V1 spectrum is good on the medic grow mini sun-2's 240w. No issues so far, dimmed at 80% . Purple Crack from the Cali Connection Moving into flowering now and she is growing very nicely , lots of potential bud sites developing and Ive done a full Bucket rinse , wash and nutrient change . I also rinsed the roots with some nice clean water to remove anything unwanted. I've also upped the nutrient strength to 4mls per litre and added Big bud to the regime. The flush begins...

In week 3 of flowering, the ladies suffered from nutrient deficiency. Due to vacations, they had SPA water only for a week. I immediately added nutrients to the water tank, with an EC of 1.8 I will also add green sensation starting this week. I also defoliated them, all the affected leaves are almost all gone.

This week wss giid. She grow good and she shares a pot with my wedding cake. I let she grow a week or two and send her to flower. Have a nice week everyone and thanks for visiting my diary🙏✌️✌️

This was another hot, hot week with a big rainstorm. Take a look at the measuring cup, it is full of rainwater. Zamnesia Mango Kush continues to smell and is very sticky. It is tall and with packed buds It should be ready to take down in a couple of weeks. Half way through this grow, I had to stop using Miracle Grow and change my grow plan. I decide to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the rest of the grow. Jungle Juice’s selling point is that it is the only nutrient that I should need during the entire grow. One just need to make the solution stronger as the plant matures. The directions say to “stir vigorously” and that is true. It is very clumpy and I had to stir and shake the bottle a lot. As your plant is in veg and growing larger, directions say to up your Jungle Juice to 4 ml per liter. If my calculations are correct, I am using approx. 5 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket. 1 gal is 3.78 liters 5 gallons=18.92 liters 4ml jungle juice per liter x 18.92 liters= 75.7 ml which is = to 5.119 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket of water As the end of the summer is quickly approaching, I have spent some time reflecting this week on all of the contests that I have entered and not won this summer. It can be a little frustrating because of all the time I have spent taking pictures and writing commentary. But, instead of it getting me down, I have to think about all of the positive take aways and I want to share them on this platform. I have read a lot of diaries and now know why I am just an apprentice. I have a lot to learn from all of you. There are some really good growers with a lot of experience and crazy grow techniques. So much knowledge is on this platform-it’s mind boggling. To be a great grower, you must be willing to be vulnerable and put yourself out there and try different suggestions and new techniques. I have made a few friend that I enjoy chatting with. I enjoy reading comments versus just seeing likes. My best friend on grow diaries is @Natrona and my neighbor as well. She has been growing longer than I have been so I routinely learn from her. This summer I learned to mix 1 cup of Perlite into my soil. I can see where my plants need the air flow. And, I now I only defoliate fan leaves that absolutely need to be gone. I let the fan leaves stay on until they fall off. I want my buds to pull all the nutrients they can out of the fan leaves. I also bought 2 new tools that @natrona suggested. The first was a water PH tester and the second was my Max-ee Magnifier which is informative and fun to use. June 7 - We ordered some new lights last week, they are 240w kingbrite samsung lm310h with uv/ir, 3000k, and meanwell drivers. We setup the new room and moved the girls into there. After a bit of LST and a watering (with nutrients) at roughly 7ph, they were ready to go under the 2 new lights and the same SF-1000 we have been using in this grow. The new room is a 12 ft enclosed trailer. I moved everything from the small tent into this. I put clear poly on the walls, floor and ceiling. I put poly on the shelf I am going to be keeping in there as well. I bought 50ft of 6mm mylar and lined the floors, roof and sides with it. I plan to get some reflective tape to seal everything and to cover the wood. I did not get much of a chance to watch temp's today as they it was later in the evening after all was said and done. The inline fan blowing in air from outside. June 8 - 9 AM i checked the plants, they were at 25.2 and 50% RH. Late through the day I had checked and we had gotten up to around 32 degrees. So I moved the inline fan to the closer vent, hooked up to that, and had the air blowing out of the trailer with the inline fan sucking it from above the lights. I then added oscillating fan and had it blowing air on the left side of the room so it would somewhat circulate once I closed the doors. I then checked at about 9pm and we were at 22 degrees. Definitely noticed a decent amount of growth already. I have the lights on a 22/2 cycle as I was worried about the heat at night time. June 9 - Some great growth from the girls, still having problems controlling the temps in the afternoon. I decided to prop the door open a bit to have a constant breeze throughout the day while I am at work. Decided to do some more LST and also a bit of defoliation. I took about 25% of the leaf's that were blocking the new growth as it was getting a bit bunched up. I was then told the leaf's are almost solar panels for them. So from now on I will be trying to just do some tucking unless needed. The leaf's I removed were most of the damaged leaf's, I am not to sure if that makes much of a difference. I gave them a watering with only water as there is a potential I am getting a bit of a nutrient buildup along with the PH problem. Or potentially the reason for the ph problem is nutrient buildup. After watering with A PH of 7 I got some run off and tested it. The smaller plant gave me a PH of about 5.5 where the bigger one is around 5.0. June 10 - Plants are looking happy and showing tons of growth. Seems to be trying to stretch outwards. Not a ton of sign of PH issues showing so potentially getting it under control. Still a bit of damage to previous leaf's but it is what it is! The last few days I have been leaving the door open a bit in order to keep the temps down. I decided to test something and turn the lights off (automatically) at 11AM and back on at 5PM so light schedule has now changed to 18/6 and it seems I may have figured out the issue. We haven't had lots of sun the last couple days so it hasn't been to hard and I have yet to know if it truly fixed the heat issue for now. (I will be looking into a ac unit as well since it typically gets to around 30-35 around here. June 11 - Pulled some of the branches back down and added a few more LST spots. Seems we have a good amount of growth from the smaller plant out of the 2 topped spots. Unfortunately it looks like I fucked up on the bigger plant and only one of the nodes seems to have new growth. I will continue to monitor that but I think I cut the node to low and also to soon. Other then that, the girls are doing great. They seem to be absolutely loving these new lights. I gave them some nutrient water today as well. roughly 3L each. They seem to be A hell of A lot more thirsty under these new lights. June 12 - The girls are doing great , they are still just doing growing away. Lots of progress everyday. I am going to be getting a go-pro so I can set-up a time-lapse for the rest of this grow. I received my new inline fan, I got A ac infinity CLOUDLINE T4 with the temperature humidity controller. I am going to be having one fan pushing fresh air in and one fan pulling out the hot air. I will be doing that tomorrow since I have to work today. June 13 - I ordered another 50ft of mylar and that showed up today. I have decided to remove the shelf and add another 3+ feet to the grow space. So today I installed more poly, mylar, the ac infinity fan. I have it set-up to pump in air if it gets to warm. I am thinking of switching it to the output that way if it gets to hot or to humid I can have that air pulled out of the trailer. Right now my other inline fan is the outtake and I just have it set on full. Overall I think everything is set-up a bit better and more accessible. I will be putting my 2x2 tent in there at the left of the doors so I can have a veg room when these 2 are in flower. I plan to have 4 in veg and 4 in flower for the next grow. Still waiting on JOTI seeds, ordered 3 weeks ago and still have not been shipped. I will be getting those going the moment they arrive. The girls seem to be happy still, did a bit more LST to try to keep everything even, mainly I'm just pulling down on the spots I already have tie wire on.

in the last pic i show what to me is a deficiency of potassium in the early stage. To repair this issue I'm gonna take something like big bud from advanced nutrients, what do you guys think? Apart from that I think everything is ok, the overall health is good, the leaves have a nice green, no excessive sign of pests... let's hope that doesn't change same diet as the previous weeks, I'm gonna make an update next week

Banana frosting still looks like shit. Just going to keep going and hope it gets better, again, not much I can do. Mandarin punch is looking amazing. Giving about 200ml of water every 2-3 days, no nutrients in either pot. Going to start LST but not sure what to do or if it’s ready yet. They get sunlight (through the window) from 8-12pm, then under the LED

Start of week 3 I believe the girls are doing good a few minor worries but that’s at ease for now I think , i have added nutes at a low level and will increase once I see how the plants react to the introduction of the nutes .. Looking into starting lsd on some plants but not too sure wether it’s to early or so . will continue to update the week but for now Started lst on a few plants day 15 and seen good reactions by day 17 so quite happy with that and will continue this process I will also look into topping my plants as well but not just yet ... they seemed to like the nutes as well so all good week so far Soo topping done on 4 plants wasn’t as scary as it sounded haha let’s see how they recover ! Going to combine lst as well now Very good recovery it looks like and the end of week 3 looks promising with the plants happy growing

Day 64: It seems to go well. I am still keeping an eye on the "hanging" leaves. I think they tend to hang a little more when light on, and less with light off but its hard to say if it is normal. It might be as @GrowingGrannie mentioned, they might be under watered, as there is not much run-off at the last couple of watering's, maybe 1l each time and I will give them a 30% run-off next time to be sure UPDATE: I have noticed some more brown spots on the right plant caused by Calcium Deficiency. I think I should up the PH a bit more, going for 6.5 this time. I will also increase my CalMag supplement by 50%, and do 30% run-off today Day 66: Thank you all for the kind answers 🙏 You all have different opinions, and it is hard to pinpoint the exact problem. I am almost certain that I got some heat/light stress as mentioned by @GrowingGrannie and @Chow_13. I have therefore raised the lamp and are keeping the dimmer very low, using about 140W in total. I am still investigating if there might be other problems to it. @m0use, thank you for your answer. I do not think they are thirsty, at least not any more, as I am already on the subject for the last couple of days. About PH, It was difficult to get a good picture of the PH solution, but it was light-green to green (6.5-7.0) on the picture (And that was run-off PH) and what I put in was adjusted slowly from yellow to light-green aka 6.0-6.5 (I wrote 6.25 but it was auto adjusted) @gottagrowsometime, thank you for the answer. I do not think it is a nitrogen toxicity. My leaves aren't that dark green, although they are a bit to the dark side but not like what I see on other pictures with that problem. I also think the curling is caused by light/heat stress as I just got a new lamp and are experimenting with it. But I will keep your suggestion in the back of my head! @Chow_13, thank you very much for your answer. I think you are spot on, however I am not sure it is the only problem... It might be as you say, nutrients are not absorbed correctly due to the light-stress, but I will not put all my money on that @Nugsery and @GrowingGrannie, a big thank you for your answers. The deficiencies might not be the same, but the cure is very similar. I cannot make up who is right, but I do have a plan. I will follow your recommendation @GrowingGrannie and @Nugsery, and do a flush, but with a ph 5.8 as both nutrients should be able to be absorbed in that level. I will then give her a light nutrient mix and adding PK, also 5.8 ph. This is almost the same solution for both deficiencies. I will then slowly get the ph back to 6.2 @ernesttwwg, thank you for your answer. I have known for some time I have some Interveinal chlorosis, but I do not know what is causing it. There is multiple deficiencies giving those symptoms. The tacoing of leaves, and leaf tips curling down I think is caused by the light, and I have therefor raised the light. I will keep investigating the symptoms you mention OBS: I will not edit my nutrient schema as this is only temporarily, next watering will be as described UPDATE: After flushing with 15L~ ph 5.8~ and a small feed with 5.8~ ph I still get about 6.5~ ph in my run-off water. I am going to do another flush tomorrow to see I can bring it down to around 6.0~ ph Day 67: I think I see small improvements on the leaves. The new heat/light level seem to have done something. I did that second flush and are still getting about 6.5 ph in run-off.... I think I will let her dry for now, monitoring what happens, and do another flush in a couple of days
