Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

Just fed AgroThrive Organic Fertilizer - Fruiting & Flowering on Chemdawg on day 88, straight water on the rest PPMs are still high at 2914 average with acid run offs of 5 but plants look pretty good the CD looked hungry so fed it the PPM on it prior was the lowest of the 6. I ordered a High CFM Kit so I can get some of my space back, as is my 5x5 is more of a 4x4 & I could use the space right now.

Hi everyone!! First of all I want to thank everyone who followed up on this diary. It was an amazing experience to grow weed on my own, along with a small jungle I tend. The buds are incredible! My house was stinking up for days after the harvest. The taste is also something else, very strong and lasts until the end of the joint. Powerful strain. She got very purple towards the end, so nothing would be better than mixing pink berry flavoured chocolate (Ruby chocolate, look it up, it's naturally pink and sour) with some trims and put together a skull shaped truffle filled with infused chocolate and Jabuticaba (local fruit) jam. Sooooo good! I do have one complain though, I only got 35 grams out of it and I don't quite understand why...I did most things right, but still disappointing results. If someone knows what I did wrong, I'd appreciate the feedback. Anyway, see you again in future diaries!!

What's up Growmies🤟🏽. Week # 8 is in the books🙌🏾 Hello week #9💪🏾 I went a little overboard on pictures this week, they are so happy and healthy that I got carried away. I know we are supposed to post pictures with the lights off, however it's something about the contrast it gives with the lights on that makes it look sexy to me😁. I have had to tie the stalks of both White LSD plants due to heavy sagging. I'm noticing with this strain the stalks seem to topple over even though the buds are far from fully developed. A trellis net probably would be ideal however I hate them. They are easy to put on but very difficult to take off come harvest. I use garden wire and string them as if they are puppets being controlled by the puppet master🤪. I continue my feeding schedule with the recommended "bloom" concoction using general hydroponics Flora series trio. I give them 1 liter every 3 days. I have them on a 2 to 2 cycle (feed them twice with nutes and then twice with plan water) I keep the p.h. around 6.1 to 6.6. Temps and humidity are in the perfect range I'm enjoying it while it last because spring and summer in VA makes it difficult to keep the humidity in check. All in all everything is going well for me and my ladies. I hope the same for all of you. It's early October, and the weather is getting worse. I hope it holds out for another one to two weeks because it's currently raining more frequently. The buds smell sweet and are slowly turning frosty.

"Impossibility is a kiss away from reality." —Amanita I am really impressed with the RQS products, especially the easy bost. I think the micronutrients are a bit strong. With the bactohemp the plants have developed very well. I am normally a plagron fan and ordered the RQS batch out of curiosity. Now I regret not having bought the RQS mycorhizas as well. However, the bactohemp also works very well. I had ants and they went away with the cinnamon tea. I have applied spruzit twice and once alg a mic as a foliar nutrient. I think the micronutrients from RQS are a bit strong and I advise to dissolve them in 12 litres of water or more. But this is just a guess. Next week I will use them more dissolved and I will explain. I have not used the easy grow but instead I have started to use sugar royal from plagron. However, I am impressed with how the RQS autos grow. Next batch I will use Mafia Seeds with the easy bost and the RQS mycorrhizas. The RQS pots are also a marvel. I am glad to have had the opportunity to use these products. Plagron soil with coco fiber (2:1), mycorrhiza from bactohemp, some neem powder and the easy bost from RQS in the marevelous pots also from RQS are a working very well this year.

I replaced the pot because it was soaked and the plant almost died. Few days later and see how this fellow is doing :) I apparently gave it a little bit too much nutrients as you can see by the burn at the end of the leaf.

Not seeing much PM unless it advanced so much that it just killed all the leaves. I still have yellowing leaves that die. It's probably septoria and I probably should've used a copper fungicide but I'm in flower. Ice cream cake and a couple seedlings are far behind but everything else seems like it will finish. This weather has been getting me down. I may feed later today or I might wait until tomorrow. I also need to add a few more supports. Wet buds are heavy. I'm getting there. Slowly but surely. 9/6 FED TWO GALLONS TO GARDEN PLANNED TO USE BEASTIE BLOOM BUT COULD ONLY FIND CHA CHING. Rained heavy all night. I came back to hanging branches but no damage. I added some supports quickly and tied up a hanging branch. Ran a couple strings across the frame but I have more work to do. I took some pics and a video. At least now I'm seeing buds. Walking down there is like getting slapped in the face with a wet bud (which happened today). It's a super strong smell. Trichomes are developing at various stages. This is when things get paranoid but it's also fun. I can't wait until fall. 9/7 Plants we're wet this morning so I gave them a good shake. Defoliated what needed it and added a couple more supports. I don't like these leaves falling like this. Didn't have time to work on the ice cream cake that's growing into the fence. Now it's a race with the weather. Things are looking pretty good but I'm getting antsy. Also I'm not sure what caused all this weird damage from earlier and if I should just cut off useless branches. I'm hesitant as I don't want to create an open wound for more fungal infections. 9/8 Rained like crazy. Super heavy at times. I added a video I took yesterday. and took some pictures. Defoliated some dead stuff but it's hard to work in the pouring rain. Forecast said three inches. Plants are booming thoughgh 9/9 Still raining. Hard. No damage. Defoliated what I could and added supports where needed. I do need to say the plants I'm growing are some resilient girls. They've taken a beating and come back kicking butt. If we can get a few good days in a row shit will really start taking off. Need to spray BT and do another k bicard spray or switch it up with peroxide. Day 80 This morning I started defoliating Tropicana. She will be in the darkness for the next days. I already harvested a part of the head flower and let it dry trimmed. Because of extreme weather conditions and very high humidity I got a little bud rott. I found it out quit early I think. So I hope nothing will not happen any more. Just harvesting relaxed and drink a Tropicana tee. Day 81 I decided to cut her down in the evening. The humidity in the basement room is high and I don‘t want to risk here anything anymore. Waiting for my first homegrown weed to be vaped. Day 82 Tropicanas flowers hanging to dry in my basement. I check them once per day with a strong light. Day 83 Same same. The smell is wonderful like a bit of gas combined with a fruity flower bouquet. Our neighbors in the house like the smell, too. 🙏 Day 84 I could try my first homegrown weed. It‘s absolutely tasty and have a very smooth vape. I was very surprised cause it‘s not cured yet. A longer vape report will follow when it‘s dried and cured. Day 88 All flowers, sugar- and tee leafs are trimmed and filled in glasses for curing. I open twice per day for 20 minutes. Boveda packs 58% inside. I will fill out the rest of the diarie when my buds are dried, cured and vaped. So far this was a very exciting journey for me. Growing cannabis and even legal on our balcony.
