Puff_TM_Dragon 3 seeds. Traded #1. #2 paper towel no show after 10 days.
#3 popped Happy Frog soil in 3 days after planting. Let’s go!
This will probably go in a 5 gal bag. I’ve only done 3 gal for autos previously. 3 gal seems pretty tight. Top at week 3? We’ll see.

Puff_TM_Dragon Just starting to push the second set of true leaves. Conservatively watering soil daily with spray bottle. Will transplant to permanent home in a day or two. Looks healthy so far.
Update 3/8: transplanted to 3 gal bag. I thought I’d give 5 gal a try this time but it almost seems like a waste of soil for an auto. Plus, 32x32 might get kind of tight since I’ve got some tomatoes , peppers, and herbs starting up too.
Handful of perlite, a dash of epsom salts, and a tsp of Gaia green power bloom added bottom half of bag.
Raised light to accommodate.
Let the fun begin!

Puff_TM_Dragon Humidity in tent has been fairly low. Temps mid 60’s. Conservatively watering. Steady but slow growth.
Turned up lights from 50% to 75%. Ideally, I’d like to be about 10 degrees warmer in there. I think it would speed up the growth. Plant is healthy so maybe we’ll see a remarkable growth spurt this coming week.

Puff_TM_Dragon Responds well to LST. Put her in a headlock and she’s showing a little more vigor now. Rotate position under lights. Was under the Vipar now under the Fecida. I think I’ll rotate this and its neighbor every few days. So far so good. The Vipar is running 75% now and the Fecida about the same. Ppfd running around 600-750. Had not watered in several days. Bag felt heavy even though the first couple of inches of soil felt dry. Letting the roots have a chance to breath and do their thing. Looked into getting a basic drip system but I think I’ll continue to observe conditions and hand water for now.

Puff_TM_Dragon Pinched a couple of the lower suckers. Trying to bend her over and let nature take its course. Trying get some of the inner growth to catch up, Need to be patient with her. All in all, so far, so good.
Watering every other day. Not watering all the way through the bag yet. Probably won’t be much longer before I do. Stretch should be coming soon.

Puff_TM_Dragon This week’s theme is LST.
I’m being gentle with it. Definitely showing her sativa side.
Scratched in some Gaia Green power bloom. Watering about 1/2 gallon every 2-3 days.
She seems happy with that routine for now.
No signs of flower yet but it shouldn’t be long.
Looks like some defoliation will be needed soon.

Puff_TM_Dragon We have flower! This is fairly slow growing but steady.
I’m starting to think that less than ideal temps are slowing her down a little bit. Normal temps have been around 68-71 F on average. I’d like to get it around 75-78 F . I put a little heater a few feet from the tent a couple hours ago and it’s up to about 74 F inside. Might be too late in the game to make a big impact but we’ll see how she responds. Not a controlled experiment because I also hit it with a little bit of recharge yesterday. It’ll be hard to tell which one had the biggest results.
This is definitely leaning on the sativa side in terms of appearance. Next watering I’ll top dress with Gaia power bloom.
Still gently guiding with LST. Did some defoliation as well.
Nothing too drastic.
Puff_TM_Dragon LST, light defoliation. Top dressed with Gaia Green and worm castings. Pinch of epsom salts. Light drinker. Sativa with a capital “S”

Puff_TM_Dragon Top dressed with Gaia products. Watered in with light dose of recharge. Still doing LST but have backed off a little in hopes of stretching. I think it has maxed out in terms of height. Just waiting for her to bulk up. Trichromes are starting to become visible. Very wispy, sativa dominant pheno.
Puff_TM_Dragon Steady defoliation. Took away the LST straps today. I think it has stretched all its going to stretch. Bulk up time. Light top dress with Gaia green power bloom and worm castings. Soaking up water a little faster now. Trichromes are present but I’d to see the buds get a little frostier. Believe it or not I’m already seeing a few amber here and there but mostly clear at this point. This plant will most likely be done in a couple weeks.

Puff_TM_Dragon No nutes this week. Going into flush mode I think. Steady defoliation. Trichromes are starting to get cloudy with a few amber showing up. This is a fast finisher. I’ll give it another 4-7 days and see where we are with it.
Puff_TM_Dragon Decided to chop. Perhaps a few days early but trichromes were starting to get cloudy a I saw some amber here and there. Overall, an easy grow.
Plant seemed a little stunted compared to other autos I’ve grown in the past.
I’ll report back after drying and trimming.
