Mid way through week three in these pics and all is good so far. They stretched up a bit more this week and I am continuing to tuck and remove the large guard leaves where needed. I will continue this til the end of week 3 then I will do a final small defoliation of all the larger leaves and let her go do her own thing for the rest of the grow. I’m trying something different then I normally do this go round in this tent, as I’m trying to maximize bud sites on the net. Usually my motto is less defoliation is best, but I decided to see what happens when I go the opposite with it and defoliate to the max during the first 2 weeks of flowering then keep everything open for the third week with selective defoliation. Week twenty-two is officially done on the Pineapple Upside Down Cake. This week is a turning point, marking the end of vegetative growth and the start of the flowering transition. I decided to switch the light cycle to twelve-twelve. Initially, the plan was to wait for a stronger recovery, but the reality is simple: it wasn’t happening. The plant was given roughly three full weeks to acclimate after stress, and the response stayed limited. Rather than staying stuck in an endless waiting phase, I chose to move forward. This means accepting that flowering may not be extremely vigorous or high-energy. That’s fine. This run is also about observation, learning, and adapting. Flowering was initiated gently, at around three hundred PPFD, to avoid adding more stress. At the same time, I switched the nutrient program to Athena bloom and adjusted the recipe accordingly. The plant has now been under flowering conditions for about twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Over the coming week, I expect to see the first signs of stretch. It’s a bit frustrating, because structurally the plant was doing really well. The LST work created a clean, balanced canopy, and the potential was clearly there. Now the focus is simple. No rushing. No over-correction. Just letting the plant transition naturally into flower and observing how she reacts. Next week will officially mark the first true week of flowering. From there, we’ll reassess posture, stretch, and overall vitality. For now, the plant is left alone to settle into its new rhythm. That’s it for week twenty-two. See you next week.

05/02/2026 This better be the last week. I have her in the dark for the next two days. Hopefully she gives me some color. Or does that work with the light? I just added an ice bottle, but it's still working it's magic. The pH seems to have leveled out too. As for the high concentration of salts, I'm gonna have to repeat flushing again. Well, in this case, I'm going to pull a gallon out and add another gallon and a half or so of plain pHed water. Reason being, I can't get the bottom of the bucket with my water pump. The roots are all in the way. So it's still loaded with nutrients. And now the water is below the roots. I've been doing my best to avoid topping off, but I think I just want to do the swap. Plain Filtered and pHed tap water readings: pH: 6.08 EC: 435 cm TDS: 307 ppm Temp: 65.7° I pHed a gallon of water. Pulled 3 gallons out of the bucket and put 3.5 gallons back in. Day 15 - She is still wanting light but gonna leave it at 11" cause she is taking off like a rocket. Sorry for the crappy pic. Day 16 - She is growing, little worried the stem is not going to hold her up for long she is growing so fast, kinda worried there. Gave a bit of silica/calmag (maybe 1 oz at the ratio in my diary) then about 4oz of water.. Day 17 - She is blowing up! Hard to see in pics but she is getting bigger! I was worried the purple light is what threw my DFL into flower if that was closest to that LED . I tried to quarantine her 600w more purple Light off of my DLF.... Day 18 - Still looking good, gave about 2 oz of calmag/silicia solution and spritzed with water Day 19 - Was a little dry so watered and spritzed leaves with water. Growth underneath is picking up. She is still growing so I am happy. Trying to keep Air temp up above 75F Day 20 - It is getting thicker and bigger. Not growing much taller but getting bushier it seems. Spritzed leaves with water. Day 21 - Undergrowth seems to be growing, not getting much taller but is getting a bit thicker... Spritzed leaves with water.

The crisping of the leaves where bothering me so I decided to do a hard flush of the plants to lower what I think was a EC issue. I was also wondering about the PH and it was on point at 6.8 from the flush water I gathered. I do not own a EC pen so could not monitor that aspect of it. It looks like it may have helped a bit. Hard to tell at this point the death has slowed a lot and I am seeing fading signs that I am used to seeing so it makes me feel a bit better. I think I have stunted this growth a bit because of this mishap but should still be a good harvest. The soils temp is getting down to 12c at night, The ambient air temps of the tent are aorund 15-18 at night though. Good for adding colour into the fade. During the say its keep steady around 26-27. Starting to smell more and more and loving every time I open the tent. Given they are stuck in a scrog net trying to remove the bottom trays to empty them cause them to be rustled a bit and they released a lot of lovely scents. I am in the last week or two now. Will be giving them one more heavy molasses feeding and then nothing else. They got their last ChitoSal and I think it made a difference, would really need a side by side to confirm if its working at all. Will monitor its length from the SCROG net vs soil as its easier to measure. 33cm from SCROG net to base of plant 18cm from SCROG net to tip of plant Total 51cm for week eight of flower. +0.5cm from Last Week Just like last week I am no longer posting about the clones in this diary. Vamos familia que ya actualizamos la cosecha de estas Frosted Guava de Zamnesia. Vaya flores que se han marcado repletas de tricomas, parecen escarcha y las flores se marcan aromas muy tropicales, la verdad que únicos. Es una variedad bastante fácil de cultivar pero al tener un periodo de floración algo más largo, hay que estar pendiente de alimentarlas bien, gracias Agrobeta en mi sala es posible. Temperaturas máximas en 24 y mínimas en 20 y una humedad estable en torno al 36%. Las mantuve 10 semanas pero facilmente si se quedan 11 tampoco estaría mal, yo las vi bien maduras y ya tenía tricomas ambar así que les di matarile. Week 13 for outdoor Black Lebanon by SSSC She's gaining some much thickness to her. Had to top maybe 10 branches that were getting taller than the rest so just topped to slow them down. But she's looking beautiful she's above 110cm tall and 2meters wide. Being fed 10L of water every morning. 😎

So this is the Tear Down week. The timing of it makes it so i will need to the harvest flag in a few days when I can weight and test the plants. I have included the Cleaning, and Cutting and some Root Porn. I will make the harvest post in about 4-5 days, when I can trim these plants. There is a lot of Plant here. I got way more than I was expecting. I don't have a scale that measure this amount of plant, without taking like 10 measurements and then adding them together. So I will just be posting the dry weight. I will post the wet weight as dry weight * 1.65. Autopots: Wow, what a great product. I have been blown away by how well and how easy it was to work with them. They really did solve the watering issues. Excellent product. If you are a beginner, start with Autopots. -= Lessons Learnt =- - Overdrive the air to your Autopots. In my control plant, I used a small rectangle air stone (instead of a standard air dome). This lead to root rot and some other issues, it also put significantly less air into the water. The root rot, give the material for the Brown Algae to grow. Using a huge Air-disc-Air-Stone would be an excellent combo to mix in with the air dome itself. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Pawfly-Diffuser-Suction-Hydroponics-Aquarium/dp/B01MY3AQ33 at the bottom and the air-dome on top of it, will be what I do with my next experiment. - Air stone in the reservoir. I had two instances where algae grew into the res. An air stone would have helped. It would have also helped my control plant get less root rot. Given the amount that the air-domes and air sources got engulfed, having the water have more o2 in it would have only been beneficial. - Don't grow 6 plants in a 4x4. Since my control plant was about 1/8th the size of the others, I think I could have grown 5 in the shape of a 5 (on a 6 sided dice)⚄ This placement would give a much more spaced canopy for airflow and more importantly light. The sides of some of the plants were lighter green and produced larf due to lack of light penetration. - This tent was on 19-5 schedule. This worked out very well for this strain. After every lights on, they were in the praying position, so this strain was able to recover in that 5hrs off. If I had more seeds, I would run these again, and try 20-4. I think this strain could handle it. All for all, I think I'm going to 19-5 as my default timing. This kept up a solid DLI. - Staring at .9EC (really .7 EC cause my water here is .2 EC) Then bumping up at .1 a week, until 1.6EC worked out VERY well. I experimented on this crop all the way up to 1.9EC, which burnt the tips of this plant. I think if I did this strain again, I would do 1.6EC until 3-4 weeks left then crank it to 1.9. It did plump them up when I went to 1.9, however it left them looking rough. Bulk was added though. - Sticking to 6.0PH for all of veg, and 2 weeks into flower worked great. The plant had solid and consistent color and leaf shape . The plant's did get hurt, due to some issues (as noted on the weeks). I switched to 6.5 PH in the last 3-4 weeks and it helped them recover, and plump up noticeably. -VPD. The #1 thing I focused on was VPD. I keep it .9kpa range, as best as humanly possible. It was honestly, HUGELY noticeable compared to my other grows. I know truly understand the value of properly dialed in VPD. This is the one lesson that will stick with me forever. - Super-cropping: On the plants I give the chiropractic treatment too, had much thicker stems as much larger channel internally. I did this treatment to 4 of the 6, and the 4 that had it done has larger buds and recovered from defoliation faster. TLDR; VPD is king. Super-cropping is worth the time. Keeping PH and EC dialed in were all wins. Autopots kick ass.

So, I threw out Fruit Diesel and Bruce Banner because of insufficient development. I still made a mistake, it is better to plant 4 plants under such a lamp, but not 6. I installed a dehumidifier, the humidity reaches 60% - no more. All the same, in a hot climate air conditioning to reduce humidity is not possible.
