They got their first SCHWAZZE and shaping at this stage getting them ready to grow into the beautiful sea of green each of these beds are to become. The uniformity of the clones reminds me how much of this has become muscle memory to me, From doing thousands of plants per grow this has become second nature for me. The ladies are 100% organic at this point and our feed I am considering releasing it for anybody who is interested as a way to fund raise at the same time ! After switching the light schedule, our supposed "autoflowers" have finaly started to show signs of actually flowering. Week 9, what a trip. This grow is full of surprises and new lessons for me: the potting mix i have used for this grow is apparently purely peat (black and white peat moss) with perlite mixed in. After digging into some more information about all kinds of soils i found out that i was apparently growing "hydroponically" because this is apparently a soilless mix. The world is full of surprises 😅 This does explain a lot of the stuff that i've been trying to deal with in the last few weeks: first and foremost my plants were looking like they were developing a range of different nutrient deficiencies. I still find it hard to tell which ones, but symptoms ranged from decoloration and deformation of the lower leafs up to small burnt tips on the developing flowers, new growth being brittle and signs that looked like underwatering. I'm convinced that this has a lot to do with the fact tht this is a soilless medium with 0 pre-supplied nutrients (the light mix does supply nutrients for a week or two, but no more). I've been going really slow on the feeding because in previous runs i tended to overfeed and had issues with that, so therefore only used about a quarter to half of the recommended dosages. So, at this point i've completely switched up my feeding: i bought 2 new bottles of hydroponic fertilizers (GHE Bloom and GHE Micro) and i'm using those in addition to a little bit of plagron terra grow - to make sure the plant also gets its fair share of nitrogen. After 3 days of watering with this stuff (both at 2ml/L) the plants are almost literally screaming "THANK YOU!" and seem to be really benefitting from this new insight and change of strategies.

Day 35: The weeks seem to be flashing past now we have some buds to admire. Wedding Cake is storming the field in this tank and without doubt the leader of the pack. She feeds really well and shows no sign of slowing down at all. she is beginning to give of a really nice biscuit smell up close and touched and her sticky buds are certainly pushing oils out. She has a good deal of space to keep growing out and up into so heres to a 5-tier wedding cake at harvest. Black Ghost O.G is certainly a tryer and is putting some very frosty trichs and pistils out now to make up for her lack of size. I dont think it is an impressive grower but i dont doubt the hit that she will give from the building up of these trichs . Gorilla Glue#4 is being a typical GG#4 I am happy to say. she is falling under her oily buds weight on her skinny limbs and need a pinochio conversion to keep her upright so i got bits with the yo-yo's to keep her up. She smells so nice when touched but is so sticky she doesnt want to let go !. Now that her roots are not submerged entirely , her leaf colour has come back to a beautiful green again. She has a fairly decent size but I think quality over quantity will be a mantra I use for her yield. . Have a fun week until next time . keep it green and mean.

Plants took a few days to get stripped down. Missed the second week of flowering and stretching but oh well there is always next time. Very excited to see this canopy full of uniform buds its going to be a sight to behold haha.

Day 19 of flower, I went ahead and lollipoped both girls. This will be my last time defoliating that heavy. As the days go by, I will defoliating here and there. They’re growing strong and healthy as well. 51 days until I harvest. I can’t wait! Catch yall on the next update ✌️🏾

So I'm flushing this week, Sunday I used Flawless Finish and watered heavy early, and did a 2nd plain ro flush 6 hours later, I did the same thing Monday. Tuesday I did not give any water at all, Wednesday I flushed the same way with Flawless finish, but water 2 times after that night, I let everything dry Thursday and Friday, It is Saturday, Today I have used only RO water, I am done adding anything. I think I could call it good, but I am going to keep things going after today, tomorrow/Sunday, and Monday, I will not water again, Tuesday the light will not even come on and I will give it a couple days of dark to finish. I could use some tips on how to get some better pics. I try, I really do, but I'm not getting the pics my eyes are seeing, so in the center of the area is all yellow and marooning leaves, and the buds have a pink tint in that area. The trics are getting there, but not yet, I figure by end of week they should be right... almost all cloudy now, a few clear left, but barely any, the few amber here and there, but I'm also not taking a piece to check from the top either, I gettin a look at a few small little buds, near the top, but not the top, I feel like I'm close... , So anxious had to phone a friend to tell me why to wait today... lol, I'll test my runoff ppm's tonight just to be sure, but the way the coco is taking the water makes me think its clean. I'm always ready at the end, Garden of Green seeds have ALWAYS made me look like a great grower. I'm excited, The smells, is very strong, it has a sweeter smell, next week I should have harvesting pics... Thanks for checkin it out

The third internode begins to be seen; when its leaves are formed enough (4-5 days) I will start the manifold. Both girls are developing almost at the same speed. It's not a super rapid growth yet but it's steady. Planning to apply LST in coming days. Please stay tuned for daily updates and uploads. First time ever they will have a chance to try in starter size portion at first bio grow and fish mix. Watering 400ml per pot. 01/11 day 24 Spend some time with my girls today 😁 added about an inch of soil to each pot and applied LST on main colas. Who knows maybe they will be ready for scrog next week 02/11 day 25 I was amazed when opened cabinet in the morning. Girls showed no signs of any stress from previous day LST. They bounced back right away and growing still in steady manner. Decided to add 2 never use before nutes to menu, Sugar royal from Plagron and Bio haveven from Biobizz. At first just low dosage 0.25ml per ltr. Watered appreciate 400ml each pot. 04/11 day 27 I like how they responded to training. Decided to adjust tie closer to the top of main cola and lowered girls a bit more. Noticed a speed up in general development. Started tucking leaves couple days ago. 05/11 day 28 It's the end of the week Today another foliage shower water + fish mix. I can see that girls like this a lot. She's moving along into flower and I've started using a little bloom nutes now that the stretch is tapering off. Took off a few fan leaves that were blocking some bud sites and removed some lower growth that wouldn't make much more than underdeveloped larf. She's definitely crowded in the tent, but she's continuing to go through her paces and should stay on track. She's starting to effervesce and it's a sweet earthy note with a more skunky stem rub. Lets see where this week takes us!

It's week 4 for the Purple Haze and it is awesome!!!! this is the first year I D I ever fell in love with when I first smoked high-grade cannabis way way back in the day and I could never get a definitive answer from anybody about the variety.. in many big cities I realize that they claim Northern Lights to be purple haze at least in NYC

Nearing the end. Defoliated and pulled apart the mass of buds that had all grown into a single main cola. I didn't notice but there were multiple buds all cramed together, blocking out light to the inside. After pulling them apart and carefully tying them down I have been able to increase the airflow, trichome, and overall size while also decreasing the excess nitrogen that had built up in those cramped bud sites. Did all this about 5 days ago and ahe is getting even better. Just a few days left. Also, I cut off a little piece yesterday just cause I'm so desperate. Lol. Next update will be harvest!

The buds are still growing and I have already discovered the first amber-coloured trichomes on Bruce Banner and S.A.D. #4. I think the harvest will be ready in 2-3 weeks. Until then, I will continue to observe the trichomes with the microscope.
