Here we are again ready to start again, always under the sign of Zamnesia, we make our fantastic plants and we show you what we are capable of. We have 5 autoflowering strains and 5 photoperiodic ones and now we present them to you.
The second autoflowering that we present to you is the Black Orchid Autoflowering. This was advised and recommended to us directly by the Zamnesia elves and we are sure that they are keen to send us refinements, we have seen some super beautiful photos of this strain. Guys, black is black as a style of beauty for me it is unbeatable.
To explain my germination method which is a combination of experiences acquired in the field and readings of the right advisors, I have chosen to divide it into phases so that those who want can follow them and understand better step by step.
- Preparatory Phase ---- Check the average temperature in the room, humidity status to understand if it is the case to start or wait, I decided for the end of August because the temperatures start to drop towards the 22-25 degrees recommended for germination.
Then another thing more or less credible depending on the sensitivity is the control of the lunar phases. I believe in it a lot, it is a method that ancient farmers used to understand when it was best to plant depending on the attraction of the moon. To make my life easier I use a simple app that advises you on the right time to plant, harvest and put in the jar (depending on the lunar phases).
- Phase 1 --- Soaking in water. There are many authoritative friends who advise against this method due to the risk of drowning, but I have always been fine and I follow the rule if it opens in water the seed is almost certainly healthy and will come out of the ground 90% normally.
- Phase 2 --- Opening the seed in water. As soon as the seed opens and the root comes out a little, you have to be very very careful not to leave the seed in the water open for too long. This is why there is a risk of drowning. So as soon as the root comes out, it must be planted. Do not wait for it to stretch out a lot, you can wait a little longer in the absorbent paper, but not in water.
- Phase 3 --- In the meantime, while I soaked the seeds, I prepared my pots: I use small biodegradable pots (choose the ones with holes underneath for drainage). A few hours before working with the opened seeds, I moistened the soil with water adjusted to the right pH (5.8 - 6.2) and Plagron Power Roots. The small root is now open and we can make a little hole with a toothpick, widen it and insert the seed. Not too deep with the root facing downwards. From Serious Seeds we learned the dome technique: if you put a small dome of soil on the seed the water will settle on the sides avoiding overwatering problems.
- Phase 4 --- The plant emerges from the soil. So far I have not put the light, now I turn it on at minimum after half a day of soil to give direction to the seedlings. The first week the light will be gradually brought from 40% to 60% to go to 70% - 75% in the remaining weeks of veg. During the first week maximum, I keep the cycle of 24 hours to avoid stretching. Be careful not to exceed the first week at least with photoperiodic plants.
- Germination % --- In water 20/20 seeds have opened for good luck I'm waiting to talk when they come out of the ground but it seems that we are going towards an excellent percentage of germination..."Not too bad"...

Here we are, ready, after a week of truly fruitful germination we have 20 beautiful plants all marked with the Z of Zamnesia.
We have moved on to autoflowering, unlike many growers I have no prejudice against this type of plant, it is true that they are the easiest to make but it is also true that they have improved a lot in terms of flower quality and if once ease meant lower quality now even the most presumptuous old school flower children growers struggle to understand if a flower is from an autoflowering or a normal photoperiod plant. There are people who claim to recognize it from the flavor but then never succeed, it's funny how it works. I enjoy making them strip their heads with these magnificent new autoflowering plants. She is the Black Orchid I have never grown her but I have seen some truly phenomenal photos of this plant. I really hope they come out black. I love it.
---- New Home - The ladies have almost all been transplanted into 11-liter pots, which is my favorite size to get the best ratio of plants in the grow box / yield. Especially if you don't have to do excessive topping or you have to grow the plants straight with main cola like I do for catalog needs like I do, 11 liters guarantees you to make excellent plants. The Black Orchid Autoflowering is a very beautiful plant, for now very very in shape even better than the others. Zamnesia has published breathtaking photos that I unfortunately did not take but they made me hope that the plant will come out black, wow there is a phenotype at least spectacular. black black like coal. For our Zamnesia girls It's time to work our magic, since October 1st we are in flowering, the plants have vegetated for exactly 4 weeks, a single top was made on some, others are growing straight, some clones here and there still in veg.
As soon as I realized that those beautiful photos of a beautiful black plant that Zamnesia was posting on IG are the Black Orchid I said wow. Let me put all the seeds. If I get even just one black phenotype I think I can show you space trichomes. I really hope I get a black one, I have a real passion for total black plants, they are my favorite aesthetically. They are doing really well. I'll show you the prettiest one, very regular in growth, the main cola is aligned with the other buds and for now it doesn't seem to want to make upward spurts, the shape, let's say, seems inherited from the sativa part of this plant.
--- Technique chosen (depending on the characteristics of the plant) - The plants are not doing very well when it is like this I decide to search for the miracle; on one I did a topping and cleaned a lot and left it in veg, the other went only a little cleaned straight into flowering.

Our Zamnesia autoflowers have been on their journey through the magical flowering period for a while now, this is the second week of flowering considering that autoflowers still flower spontaneously some sooner than others but all around the 3rd-4th week.
---- The general environmental conditions are good, the heat has increased a bit more but for the first weeks of flowering it is not a big problem, let's remember to never exceed 27 degrees centigrade in the last 4 weeks to avoid compromising the quality of the flowers. If necessary open the growbox but never let it exceed 27-30 degrees
where 30 is already a lot. The positive thing is that as soon as the lights go out the change is already somewhat visible and as autumn progresses we will also improve. The humidity is fluctuating but we try to control it with two dehumidifiers when necessary, pushing both of them possibly not into the growbox but directly into the room. (I dehumidify the room and the air in the growbox should also be dehumidified)
--- This strain has really intrigued us for a feature that we love around here: the plant could turn black in the last weeks of flowering. And I'm taking the saints of all religions to make it happen because I have a new set of macro lenses and I would like to show you something between space and heaven passing through the inside of a black hole. ---- Plant - Even if they are not as fast as an F1 our Black Orchids are big, beautiful and frighteningly hungry. Incredibly they are drinking like in summer, after all the temperatures are still high we expect a drop for the weekend and they should remain low just right for the end of flowering as we like, the foliage, and all the resin processes. Big beautiful, important defoliation at the bottom for both. I pray to the lord that at least one turns black. I am not catholic and nothing of this stuff but I pray for mother nature yes.
Anyway a super harvest of about 50-70 grams per plant is expected, maybe a little less one of the two however excellent judging by the size and branching of the ladies. and I would say not bad.

--- Our Black Orchids are beautiful and different from each other. I imagined they were similar until a few days ago but then one started flowering more quickly and kept the main cola quite aligned with the lateral buds; the other instead started a mega central brunch and stands up to 130 cm tall. What we like most is that it seems to be bringing out dark buds. I don't want to bring bad luck but here we are waiting for a Black with fingers crossed, touching wood and everything necessary. Beautiful, tall and powerful, she will still be a champion. The bigger drink 2 litres x day and i found her dry in the morning.

The situation is now hot, all our Zamnesia autoflowering plants are taking on color and sooner or later they will be harvested.
We have two Black Orchids in the mix, both tall, one with a more sativa appearance, the other more indica and above all black and full of resin.
The new specimen is a champion already well before harvest. It has resined really well and is showing off a truly super black flower color, we also hope for a nice final foliage that turns everything towards dark colors -
Champion.
The pistils are now around 5% in the trichomes, I haven't been there yet but I plan to take a big trip when the plant is in its final state.
The Plagron mush has given us a lot of strength and vigor, now we were a bit too dark in leaves so by fading we went first from 4 mol/l to 2 and now we are about to go flush, our signal is the first colors.

We are close to harvest and our Black Orchids are of very different phenotypes and both super beautiful.
Plant 1 is a masterpiece of nature. Very tall, so much so that it even surpassed the light, I also had to find some tricks to bring it to the end but it is a masterpiece. My photos are beautiful but this time they do not convey the beauty to the naked eye, I hope to do better at harvest, it is a masterpiece of a plant. The flower is dark purple/black, a nice cold has also arrived which should favor the foliage and I am praying that it happens. Resin at maximum levels.
Plant two has a more sativa shape so with the lateral brunches that have almost reached the main cola. They all have a characteristic conical shape, they look like upside-down ice cream cones, very pretty to look at with a little less resin than the other but it was impossible to resinate like that masterpiece.
Both are taking the color in the flower and fading in the leaves.
As for the fertilizers we gradually stopped to try to make the plants color with one we succeeded a little better but the harvest is still perfect. This coming week both are coming off maximum next week
We are giving the Canna FLush I don't really know if these products do anything in the end, our flowers are super good anyway and we use them.
Red pistils at about 40-50% on both and mostly transparent trichomes still with some cloudy and a little amber only on the leaves.

We have grown many beautiful plants in life but the Black Orchid Automatic is of immense charm.
It is a plant that has many phenotypes, well they are all amazing me, I have three running, this one that I show you is the most beautiful but the other two that I will show you in the harvest phase all have two particular and exceptional characteristics.
Here we are in the world of purple / red, we are not in black apparently also because the other two are a little more black but this one is really scary.
Big, very big, 130 cm has started a main cola that is a sword, really, big, long, full of resin and purple. Now there is a lot of white hair but it will have a divine color.
The amount of residue is immense both in this one and in a very small one that has a scary taste.
We are in the harvest phase. Soon all of them.

Our three Black Orchid Automatic are a great highlight of this all Zamensia crop.
ATTENTION: This week I'm talking about the harvest of the first to be harvested, small (for my average for the average of others normal), in a six-liter pot so small that I didn't even want to show it to you but then it started to resin in a divine way, to smell spectacularly and to make a foliage towards the black of an embarrassing romantic, and so here we are.
I strongly recommend you to try this strain both in the feminized version and this one in the photoperiod version, if this plant doesn't convince you wait to see the next two that I will publish in the next two weeks but they have already been harvested.
The scent is tremendously CALI. We feel like we're teleporting to Los Angeles with Snoop making a blunt, incredible California flavor, to be clear in a coffee shop in Amsterdam you would pay 25 to 30 euros per gram.
Everything has always been grown with Plagron Pro Mix soil which I found exceptional, I was used to using Light Mix but I had probably underestimated the power and cleanliness of going 100% organic. It has an absorption coefficient that I find very pleasant, it dries with less aggressiveness than the light mix so you will not have that phenomenon that when the plant is too dry the water goes down. With this soil it is more difficult as it is more difficult to have midges. In my MODEST opinion pre-fertilized are fertile ground for ground midges with this soil I have had ZERO GNATS, before ever.

Our three Black Orchid Automatic are the whimsical part of our phenomenal autoflowering crop, they are multicolored crazy ones that enchant anyone who looks at them, be careful you could be enchanted by these Zamensia sirens and for sure you will super like this.
ATTENTION HARVEST DAY: This week it's the turn of a beautiful little beast with inverted cone-shaped flowers, very pointed and really beautiful with the ends that at the end with the arrival of the cold revealed dark shades. The flower is once again of excellent quality, a very different phenotype from the one I published last week and equally very different from the one I will publish the very next totally purple, but it is the beauty of mother nature we are here only to tell about it.
I strongly recommend you to try this strain the many phenbo are in fact just a great discovery that you can make. The way of resinating is perverted, I really feel so much resin that it will make your eyes pop out.
The scent is once again Cali, but the buds have a more European look this time slightly less dense but still really beautiful.
I am very confident that it will have high levels of thc and an excellent final quality, we are in the dry room at the moment.

And here we are at the end of this magnificent journey on the spaceship Black Orchid Automatic, a phenomenal strain from Zamnesia, it is the last beauty harvested more or less at the same time as the others but shown separately for the amount of important photos that I am taking.

This week I'm talking about the harvest of the third and last lady, the purple one, very purple to be clear.
She grew a lot, she matured quite quickly and produced a lot of resin. The flowers are quite hard and of a wonderfully wonderful color.
The smell is very particular probably from the purple / cookies / cake area but the strong point of this beauty are the trichomes. The girl offers a park of trichomes of a disarming beauty, the more I shot the more I wanted to shoot, I was left speechless for real. We have purple stuff in the stem, purple noba in the gland, totally purple stuff in the stem with amber gland, glands in various shades of purple. Wonder for real. There is still something transparent but it had to come venia, like animals feel earthquakes I start to feel the mold in advance, or maybe I'm paranoid, anyway we are mostly cloudy, something amber and a thousand shades of purple and something even transparent.
For me it's fine like this baby. Harvest time, in the drying room.
